“I walked into this place without much research, just saw a high star rating and proximity from where I was at that time. I thought they offer traditional Japanese style ramen. If that’s what you are looking for, you will be disappointed. The staff, service, and overall vibe were great. I ordered the Classic ramen and it was nothing like the ramen I am used to. Although it was eatable, but too oily and black peppery, it was just a different kind of noodle soup dish. I have tried various styles of ramen in Japan so I can say safely that this is definitely “inspired” by them but not a traditional Japanese ramen.
I see many enjoyed their style so it seems to meet their tastes. Just not my bowl of ramen. That’s all. Again, super friendly staff. No hard feelings.“

“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

We decided on salads, veal and shrimp parm, with sides of spaghetti and spinach. Italian cheesecake and cannoli for dessert. Everything was delicious. Lovely atmosphere. You can also order from the regular menu if you're not interested in the special menu, but it's such a great deal...I don't know why anybody would choose otherwise.“

“DubCo is an amazing brewery & one of our favorites on Long Island. Pairing with a great rotation of food trucks / vendors makes the experience and visit that much more enjoyable. Today they had Secret Vegan Kitchen and it was some of the best vegan food I've ever had. DubCo always has a range of different styles of beers, which makes it more attractive to anyone in a larger group, not just a bunch of IPAs here. They also dip into a lot of fun spinoff drinks like their Greaterade (coming in 5 different colors / flavors) and their hard seltzers / hard palmer.
