“This bar has the coolest outdoor area and the upstairs is most certainly haunted. I had a pile of dominos out on the coffee table and watched one move (btw, I don't drink!) As if someone lifted up half of the domino and dropped it back down. So creepy and cool!“

“The wings are amazing. They have them down to a science.“
“Place was dead when it first opened at 12 on a Saturday, but I can imagine that it gets quite lively later in the day/night. There was a good variety of beers. Personally, I'm a sour girlie and appreciate any Gose or Sour beer that I can find so I was pleasantly surprised that there were actually 2 on the menu for me to try. Friendly staff, too, and some entertainment on the TV. You can bring your own food. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but maybe there's some spot nearby we didn't know of that would have been better than street parking“
“Easily one of my favorite bars in Albany.
Trivia every Wednesday and karaoke on Friday are always a blast. All of the bartenders are friendly, helpful, and know their stuff. Great selection of all types of beer, with some canned cocktails, shots, and THC seltzers.
Very friendly atmosphere for hanging with friends, queer and POC friendly business. Music on karaoke nights gets pretty loud though.
Beer can run a bit pricey but they have delicious cheap options too.
They're dog friendly too so you can pet some cute dogs while you're drinking. And the patio is a big plus. Tables and chairs on the sidewalk are great for summer nights.“

“Great social atmosphere.Fun games to play. They really need more than 1 bartender downstairs. Not a huge selection at that bar and the cocktails were small & expensive. Get a beer instead. In the winter, when we went in March, the downstairs was freezing. Wear your wool socks and sweater & you'll be good.All-in-all it was a good experience. Shuffleboard was a blast. Giant games too.City parking. Not wheelchair accessible. Narrow, dark stairs to get downstairs, opens up to a big game area.“

“Ended up going there tonight with 2 co workers of mine and it was a great place. Very laid back atmosphere and not noisy at all where we could actually have a conversation and not have to yell to hear each other. I ended up getting a bowl of the chili, which was amazing. Had the perfect amount of meat and beans in it. And I also had an order of fried mushrooms that were also amazing. Alot of places when you order fried mushrooms the breading just falls right off and mushrooms are mushy, but these were nice and crispy and batter tasted great. The bartender Brittany did and amazing job as well. She was really quick and was always there to make sure are drinks for good and also had great conversations with her. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice bar with great food.“

“Believe the hype! Casey Finn’s delivers for service, the finest Miller High Life and Jameson whiskey, and I heard that the Ruebens on St Patrick’s Day are the jam.Was sincerely hoping for the rumored bartender vs customer fight (see review from a few years ago), but despite a brief genuine moment of concern (“are you ladies lost?”), we made friends and will be back.“

“Great place! Awesome drinks! Great food!!“
“I've been to the newly opened Washington Tavern three times now and have had a great experience every time! The cocktails were great, tons of beers on tap, and the food was SO good! They were also extremely accommodating of our dietary restrictions, including gluten free, dairy free, and soy free. The service was friendly and attentive, the vibe is great, and I'm already planning to go back!
Dietary restrictions: Were happy to accommodate our group's restrictions, which included gluten, dairy, soy, and tree nuts.
Parking: We usually park on the street, but there's also a lot behind.
Wheelchair accessibility: Front entrance seems fully accessible“
“This venue is like no other in Troy. Highly recommend. Stop in during a night of live music. Always a unique vibe enjoyed by all. Friendly staff, great ambiance and great cocktails.“
“The staff at the Berlin helped me celebrate my birthday in style! They made delicious drinks and food and were just a ton of fun. I would recommend 100 times over!“

“Albany landmark one of the last black owned bars in Albany. Nice spot when you don't want to be around drama...most youngins don't want to go there because it's fairly low key which is why I rather go there. when I want to grab a drink in peace..go there grab a drink and show Phil love for keeping this establishment open!“

“What a great find! The food was excellent (highly recommend the Haddock Reuben), as was the service (our server was Liberty). Great draft selection, including one of the best sours I've had in a while. The owner (Amy) stopped by and made us feel very welcome. Can't wait to go back.“
“12/10 dive bar experience (solid pours on the drinks, disgustingly good mozz sticks, and a pool table with a good crowd) EXCEPT for Juan Picasso...This absolutely sorry excuse of a human being, after being asked to jimmy open the locked women's bathroom by myself and another woman when a younger woman had been in there for over half an hour with no response, became clearly embarrassed to find her sitting on the toilet with her pants down. He then decided to try and hide his blatant embarrassment behind unwarranted anger and project those feelings onto me, saying sarcastically "Thanks for making me open the door..." before walking away?!Listen, you douche canoe, I'm sure by now you realized that the woman in there actually needed a little assistance - I only wish someone had made YOU clean up the vomit on the floor. Pick on someone your own size next time, eh? Your attempt to hide your personal insecurities and your inability to handle your "big feelings" behind a facade of machismo is laughable at best and incredibly sad at worst. If you own a bar, you take care of your people - I wouldn't be surprised if someone ends up dying on your watch. The bartender, Jeff, was cool, though. We like Jeff.“
