“The Tavern has been in business a long time. Used to be called The Clam Steam Tavern. Was and maybe still is, a popular country music venue. My dad was a country and western singer and played there a lot in the 50's. Maybe even in the late 40's. A nostalgic band stand and dance floor is still there and looks like it is in use. The food is standard bar food but very good. I do not eat seafood however my wife does and really likes the clams. Enjoy eating on the outside porch. Will be back this summer.“

“Place was dead when it first opened at 12 on a Saturday, but I can imagine that it gets quite lively later in the day/night. There was a good variety of beers. Personally, I'm a sour girlie and appreciate any Gose or Sour beer that I can find so I was pleasantly surprised that there were actually 2 on the menu for me to try. Friendly staff, too, and some entertainment on the TV. You can bring your own food. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but maybe there's some spot nearby we didn't know of that would have been better than street parking“

Unbeatable cocktails made by real mixologist's and a rad atmosphere! They have events and live music scheduled regularly and more people need to check this place out. I'm pretty sure the pizza is smuggled in through a prohibition era brick tunnel that connects DeFazio's to Albany Distilling. Go get some tasty pizza a few cocktails and support a unique local business.

“My first time visiting this restaurant! I was there with 5 women, 4 of us ordered the exact same meal! 3 of the four meals came out. The forth (mine came thirty minutes later! Our server was good she kept apologizing! Said she entered order incorrectly! That because of excessive delay! I would not have to pay for the meal that arrived 30 mins after my friends had been served! When the bill was served it had all Charges for 5 meals … our server went to the female manager! She very rudely told us the late meal we would have to pay for ! I don’t expect anything for free but manager rudeness was unexceptionable! We will never return to emery Garden“

“I want to call this a hole in the wall bar because of its location but the amount of people that come here on the weekends prevents me from doing so. “Love the Irish pub atmosphere. Would highly recommend Ryan's Wake for a private party. We had 50 people who were very comfortable in the space. Private room has its own bar which was great. All the staff we worked with were friendly and accommodating. We had appetizers, since party was 6-9pm. Great working with Jared, as he helped me with party planning suggestions. We brought balloons and some decorations. I was extremely happy with Ryan's Wake private room. Plenty of room to mingle! Great job Ryan's Wake!!“
