“I recently hosted my baby/bridal shower at Paolo’s, and the brunch buffet was absolutely fantastic. There was an impressive variety of options that truly had something for everyone, from classic breakfast favorites like eggs, bacon, French toast, and fresh fruit to delicious lunch offerings like pasta primavera, garden salad, and our entrée selections of chicken Milanese and eggplant rollatini. Everything was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. The two servers assigned to our event were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed throughout the celebration. Their attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Paolo’s for any special event! Thank you Linda and team for making my day so special!“

“Went here with my mom, aunt, and both grandmas and we couldn’t have had a better time!! The chef and owner Ali spent so much time talking with us and was so personable, kind, and welcoming. My mom and aunt are visiting Italy in a few weeks and he even spent the time to give them travel ideas. We also spent more time with him doing the table side cacio e pepe. Not only did it taste SO GOOD but it was such a fun experience. Even my grandma said that she absolutely loved the food and had an amazing night (and that’s a HUGE compliment coming from her, she always complains when we go out to eat…). Everything was perfect and there’s nothing I would’ve changed . So grateful for Ali and the time he spent with us. My new favorite restaurant! We will be back soon for sure.“

The price of the food is very fair compared to other shops. I don’t want cold cuts everyday but I only purchase the Boar’s Head brand that is used for their subs.“

“Just this evening, I ordered take out from the wrong location. I called Stuyvesant plaza instead of Slingerlands. When I called Stuyvesant about the mistake the manager said, “ No problem”. What’s your address ? I will drive it out to you. Within a 1/2 hour this awesome guy Justin pulled into my driveway with all our food. Hot food and cold salad !! Thank you. Way to go!!“

“Sat at the bar and was served by Vinnie. Vinnie was super nice and we had great conversations. Gabriella was also very smiley and friendly (she drinks a lot of water lol [inside joke]). I ordered the veal cordon bleu and my adult son had the lasagna. I’ve been to Italy and this meal was just as good, if not better, than some of the food I ate in Rome, Gaeta or Naples. The food was nice and hot, the bread was perfect and the everything was tasty. Great job we will definitely be back!“

“Very large and filling slice. It melts just right and is served hot. It's a bit more than 3$ a slice.

The place being a few minutes walk from the bus terminal makes it very worth it for someone passing through. Great customer service from the owner too.

There are a few seats inside to eat. Very hot inside but most people probably take to go.

Its the best place for a quick and cheap meal in this city.“

We got the short rib ravioli for an appetizer also great. And the bread here comes with 3 dips..whipped garlic butter, roasted peper ans traditional oil and balsamic. Everything from food to bartender was great. We will be back.“

“My son goes to RPI and we discovered Moscatiello's Italian Restaurant two years ago. We love going there for dinner. The food is great, the menu is HUGE and the customer service has always been excellent! It is our go to restaurant in the Troy area.“

“My husband and two of our friends went for dinner tonight. The drinks were on point, our calamari was delicious, I had the chicken Milanese which I loved, my husband had the casarecce. “First time visit to La Perla in Averill Park, NY Thursday 8/17/23 6:30pm reservation. We came because of the music by The Next Chapter, Alan Saunders & Mike Derrico formerly of the Good for the Soul band that played at our wedding in 2006. They were set up in an nice courtyard at the rear of the restaurant, but an hour later had to move inside due to the rain. Very prompt service by the staff. We ordered drinks and looked over the menu. We settled on two appetizers: eggplant rollatini ($20) and the clams casino ($22). Note: clams are offered in 6 different styles. Italian style entrees from $18-33, more for specialty fish entrees i.e. zuppa de pesce $51. This is a fine dining restaurant offering well prepared and a variety of dinners. Bill was $100. for two meals & four alcoholic beverages. We ended our evening at the unique bar & dining area where we could still see & hear the band. This place also offers overnight accommodations & is an event venue. A very good first visit here. Restaurant Hours of Operation: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 4PM - 9PM Friday & Saturday 4PM - 10PM Sunday 3pm-9pm Restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Reservations are recommended. “We went to Milanos for the first time today, and we’re never going back. To say that the service was terrible would be an understatement. Ordered a large pizza and watched it sit there on the counter getting cold because the server was MIA. I was going to walk over there and pick it up myself, but I flagged down the other server who did it for me. Same thing when I asked for the check. I could see if the place was busy and they were understaffed, they weren’t. As far as the food goes, mediocre at best. The “large” pizza was actually small and we left there hungry. We should have eaten at the burger place a few doors down.“

Despite this, I'll be eating Roman Pizza tonight because it's so darn good. This is one of the most underrated pizza joints around and you should give it a try.“

Her outgoing personality was enjoyable! She was hustling to all the tables to get the other customers orders in a timely manner. The menu was mind blowing of the many choses. “I’m never one to normally leave reviews but I feel that this is constructive criticism. I think the food is great - the “big c” knocks it out of the park every time. However, I am always disappointed when I walk in because I am always greeted with STICKY FLOORS! I just left the establishment and here is a quick story from my experience. I went to get a quick dinner with my friends. We all were having a great time - aside from the sticky floors. When we were getting ready to leave the table, my friend stood up and physically got stuck to the floor. The floor ripped her flip flops off of her feet, she felt like a rat stuck to a rat trap! Anyways, great food and service - the floor just needs a little work!“

“I went there for the second time yesterday and had a really great experience again.
The food was fresh, the worker behind the counter Morgan, was pleasant, made sure my food was made exactly how I wanted it, and made sure I had everything I needed.
Very refreshing because I love to not notice choices or forget something important for my meal.
As a vegetarian eating out can be a real pain, but after my experience yesterday I'm confident that if I show up here, I'm going to leave happy.
I didn't remember to take a picture until I was a quarter of the way through but thought with how well my food was made it warranted a picture anyway.
10/10 for food and service, I highly recommend.
