I walked in and couldn't believe how friendly everyone was. Instantly it became my #1 go-to. The food is tasty and the people treat you like family. “I called to order a chicken salad wrap, not realizing they were closing within the next 15 minutes! (I only realized the closing time after placing my order over the phone and then seeing the hours online rifht afted.) I try never to do that because I've made that mistake in the past (not here; at other delis or bagel shops) and in return experienced bad customer service... again, not at Toasted Bagel, but elsewhere. I get it! People want to clean and get home. But, that wasn't the case at all here - when I called without realizing they were almost closing, the woman was still so pleasant taking my order. And when I came to pick up, it was evident they were closing up... and yet still, they were so welcoming, kind, and provided the same great customer service that I usually get when I stop in here. Not to mention my food was delicious as usual. So often we tolerate grumpy staff at other places and brush it off, but having employees who are as kind and welcoming as they are to me (and my 6 month old son) meant a lot to me. My husband has the same customer service experience when he goes in there as well. While the food is good, the quality of their kind staff is what keeps us coming back. Thank you so much!“

“Great Food, Great Service, The Staff is Great, There's Welcoming Atmosphere that is Family Oriented which is what you would expect from a Family Owned Business. They're involved with numerous Charities from coats and toys for the needy, to Cancer Research, for our Men and Women in the Armed Services. They donate to local hospitals events and fundraisers. I've tried Bagel Stores from Miller Place to Stony Brook, from Coram to Port Jeff, including other Strathmore's and by far Strathmore of Mount Sinai has been the best.“

“I have been on a quest to duplicate excellent chicken salad and to duplicate it
I find that using a store bought roasted chicken is the most flavorful, until I had the chicken salad at Bagel Cafe

My wife and I were heading to the airport, Florida bagels, well you know, they are no Long Island bagels, we ordered a bagel with cream cheese, cinnamon walnut cream cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel it was so good
Also a chicken salad sandwich lettuce tomato on an everything bagel
Without doubt the best chicken salad I have ever had
I am flying back in a couple of weeks, definitely looking forward to going there again

We split both bagels one before we took off and the chicken salad for lunch on the plane

“Easily the Best bagels in Rocky point. This place is seriously underrated. Great service and kind staff. The bagels are better than anywhere else around. Seriously, you want a classic bagel exactly the way it should be, soft on the inside and nice blistered on the outside. Cooked at a perfect temperature, really you're missing out if you aren't coming here every morning. Btw did I mention the prices are incredible, they have not increased the prices like other places have. 5 bucks and change gets you a CC bagel and coffee. Inflation who? Not here my man...
