“We started ordering several times after having discovered them for the first time, but as we continued to order more, we started to like them less each time :(

Last time my husband ordered a mix of carnitas fritas and longaniza, he had to throw the food away because the meat did not taste alright

Despite having initially liked them A LOT we have not really continued ordering from them anymore :(“

“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. U had no idea that my Morning started out so crappy, and your sweet personality and loving spirit really turned my day around and the tres leches latte was AMAZING 🙌🏼🩷💯 yall go see them and be patient …..it’s worth the wait ❤️ side note… the whole place is decorated beautifully! “I absolutely love this place. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, their food is incredible and there’s something for the whole family. I go very often when the work week gets crazy and there isn’t time to cook. Everything at Claudy’s is exceptional and taste better than a home cooked meal. I usually do take out family meal with a whole chicken and two sides. They have truly the most flavorful chicken, incredible chaufa, and I always get the yucca fries on the side. Their Aji empanadas are my go to and I love getting an 8 oz homemade green sauce. I cannot recommend enough!“

“The food here is really good!!!

I unfortunately came on a Friday night (avoid Friday nights eating in, just order out) and they were very short staffed. My waiter was friendly but I asked for a on the rocks margarita and got frozen, I asked for tap water, never got it and i never received utensils. The music was incredibly loud. But it’s nyc on a Friday night.

The Good: The woman in the back was a BOSS!!! running everything! She was so sweet and handled everyone with care. It seemed she was also responsible for the online orders which looked overwhelming.

The green salsa sauce was amazing and soooo good! Don’t change the recipe!

The food again was delicious. Really large portions. Take it easy or go ham!

Next time I would just order out.“

“I pass this place all the time but never thought to stop in. Big mistake! The other morning I finally decided to give it a try and ordered a late breakfast via DoorDash. I went with the Venezuelan Breakfast, and wow, it was incredible. The shredded beef was perfectly seasoned, the caraotas (black beans) were flavorful, and the arepa was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The scrambled eggs and sweet maduros rounded everything out and made the meal so satisfying. Now I can’t wait to explore more of their menu. Highly recommend!“

“Food was amazing and such a home like atmosphere. Some of the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. Cliffside park has a gem with this place. Please come visit and I HIGHLY recommend the chimi. Prices are great especially cause of inflation but the quality is insane, food is so good they let us sample so many things. I wish you guys could smell how good it smells in here too. “Listen, I’ve visited New York about three times now, and every single trip I make it a priority to stop at this bodega. I first discovered it during a tour on my very first visit, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

They sell a variety of things, but let me be clear—the empanadas are the star of the show. Oh. My. Gosh. They are packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and BIG. You can literally get full off just one.

If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and try their empanadas. I have to warn you though: once you taste one from this spot, you’ll never be satisfied with an empanada from anywhere else. You’ll only crave theirs.

“Let me start by saying the new ownership has been amazing! i work across the street and almost everyday for lunch this is where i go and the food is always a 10/10. the staff is always friendly and inviting and no matter what you are craving just know you will definitely have a great meal. if you were having second thoughts on stopping by dont, i promise you will not be disappointed! i would recommend trying their rice and beans with pernil its one of my go-to's“

“This is the best smoothie place hands down. You need to get your smoothie done by a girl, not a guy. Preferably the chunky girl.They make it perfect. Not too liquidated, just perfect frothy texture. “After a long day at Yankee Stadium, my son and I were feeling pretty hungry and decided to explore the area. We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, which made us feel comfortable right away.

My son was especially ravenous, and he ate every single bite of his meal—something he rarely does! He kept telling me how delicious his food was, which really made me happy. Overall, it was a great find after a busy day, and we left feeling satisfied and happy.

“I went to this restaurant, because I was curious about this place. I went in and ordered a chicken empanadas and a small Salchipapas. Both tasted so good, and the way the hot dog bites blended with the French Fries and melted Mozzarella cheese made me enjoy my stay. Thank you for the delicious food. The cashiers who served me were beautiful and wonderful people. Thank you for giving me the strength to go back to work in my college. This is a nice restaurant to dine in.“

“Amazing costumer service can't really describe it. The food was good. I have 3 empanadas 1 quipe and 1 capriccio.(capricho is going to be the best potato fry ball that I ever was going to taste in your life).the capriccio that o had was with chicken. The quipe too. The empanadas were 1 philly stake the best out of the three, 1 guava and cheese was ok. And pork. It was good but not better than the philly stake. Oh and I had a passion fruit. Extremely good and natural. Oh and they have an outside sitting area. It's really pretty.

This place has incredible customer service. I liked coming here. And eat at the outside tables. I was passing through this area and noticed this monumental empanada and immediately entered. I ordered 3 empanadas, a caprice and a quipe.
The empanadas were. Philly stake. Guava and cheese. And the last pork. The caprice and the quipe were chicken.
The whim was what I liked the most. It's a dad's Villa with chicken inside. I recommend it. The Philly Sale empanadas have to be ordered, it doesn't matter if they tell you, ask for it, you'll thank me later. Another one he has. What to ask you not to buy on this occasion is the chicken with that and corn at the end. And the juice has to be olbligado passion fruit. And the guava and cheese empanada was not that good. I don't recommend it. But it's good.“

“Loved the mango smoothie and the chicken empanada. I was curious about the place, and checked it out. The place looked very polished, well-maintained, and the customer service was quick. I stayed to savor the mango smoothie. When you buy the empanada, the sauce is automatically put with your order. Would come back. The lovely cashier appreciated my compliment of the store. I realized that their IG is a very sizable following. Videos and clips of the manager, people dining, their food and menu. The other day, the Pina juice drink was amazing. Natural and delicious!“
