“I consider myself (as do others) a bar/sports bar afficianado. The moment I walked into Game Day, I knew it was a 10. Vibe, size, layout all were spot on. Then add great beer selection (Stella please), great boneless wings, TVs everywhere and a very friendly staff, including the owner, and you have a winner, and a new spot for me to watch upcoming events. Go Uconn!“

“What a fun place. I can only speak to the atmosphere and beer since I have never eaten at Tapsmith, but it's a great little local watering hole. Owner Tracy is very friendly, a good conversationalist, and you can tell he really cares about his customers. You immediately feel at home when you walk in. Great variety of beers on tap and to go.“

“Number 1 restaurant in Mahopac. I recommend stopping by and grabbing a nice bucket of beer. The buckets are ice cold and have plenty of room for beers; perfect for a nice bucket of beer. They have other stuff too, but the buckets of beer is what keeps me coming back. Get over there now and get yourself a bucket of beer.“

“I can't believe we have lived here for three years but only just came to Brodie's for the first time. This place is excellent. I really appreciate when a server notices you have an empty glass, and asks if you want another of whatever you're drinking (Guinness, in my case). It is my favorite thing a restaurant can do, and Brodie's staff does this. The food was really good, not very expensive, and the whole experience was excellent from beginning to end.Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs, the staff is friendly, we were there at like 6PM on a Friday and the place was full of families with kids of varying ages.“

“This place opened about two years ago and we finally got a chance to try it. Beautiful and sophisticated interior design. I appreciate the thoughtful choices of the materials that soak up the noises. They have good variety of the food. We ordered a kimchi burger with house-smoked pork belly, and a Korean fried chicken sandwich. Both were delish but I particularly liked the burger and the chili (dry) fries that came with it. Will come again to try other things on the menu.Parking: easy accessKid-friendliness: kids to-go cup“

“My husband and I went for Valentine's Day dinner. I booked a reservation on Open Table, at least I thought I did! The staff could not find it; but they were gracious, and immediately seated us. But not too gracious, when my husband asked if we could be seated in one of the larger booths, we were told "no, they were reserved". Of course, three of them remained empty the entire time we were there. The food: it was nice that we had the option of ordering from the special Valentine's day menu, or from the regular menu. I had the wonderful beet salad, and the maple burger, which was cooked perfectly. Sadly, my French fries were an embarrassment to any restaurant that has ever served fries! Overcooked, lukewarm- terrible! My husband ordered from the Valentine's menu, started with a salmon sushi, which he Ioved, and his cocoa beef entree was excellent, and he can be picky. He also enjoyed his brownie sundae, I did not try it (chocolate allergy). My sticky toffee pudding, which I've had here before, was as excellent as I remembered it. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and put up with my husband's grilling her (we learned that she has a golden retriever). Overall, a very nice meal, but please Birdsall House, fix those Fries!“
