“Laufer’s has been a go-to date night spot for my wife and I for a while food is top notch! So good that we’ve been there 4 weeks straight for fish tacos during the lent season. Truly a hidden gem with the best food in the area Also, don’t leave without trying desert, you will never regret their deserts!“

“Food was great, however the menu was out of date, and we weren't told what was wrong with it (no ciabattas, other wing sauces). Bar has a decent selection of craft beers, but the draft list placed prominently in the middle of the room, that the waitress pointed is to, was incorrect, and the waitress was obviously neither a craft beer drinker, nor trained on what they did have. She was pleasant, but needed some training.“

“Went there on a Friday night. It took a little while for us to be seated. But once we got seated, our waiter was very attentive and courteous. The food was great and so were the drinks. We had lobster spaghetti and shrimp & crab ravioli. For the drink, i had the gold digger cocktail. It's a lychee martini, ifykyk. The DJ was a vibe. They played afrobeat, R&B/hip-hop, reggae, and Spanish music. It's very loud in there, not a place for convo, but more for turning up. Definitely will be coming back.“

“There’s a wait depending on when you go. It’s not a place that’s is so uniquely excellent that I recommend waiting for but it is certainly a place that if you luck out and there’s no wait, you take advantage. The martini and the burger are well made and at fair price points for NYC. Simple things that many places just don’t do well.

Recommended order & timing to maximize your experience:

Start with a gin martini.
Mortadella to kick off the food. The sourness of the blue cheese and pickled peppers is a nice prep for the heavier burger. Pairs well with a light beer.
Burger with fries. I liked it with a Guinness but my boyfriend preferred to stick with a lighter beer.
Finish off with a tuna melt if you are still hungry or just wanna pig out. It’s not mind blowing but it is good and not too heavy that you go into a food coma.“

“LOVE this place. I don't come often, but every time I have, I've had a great experience. Chicken fingers are pretty great ?, and bartender Sean (not Shaun or God forbid Shawn ?) is super friendly and makes awesome drinks! I've sat outside, and the service out there is awesome, too! “I love a good wine with my meal. That being said outside of a high end restraunt I have been no place in the area where the house sommelier picks the selection of wine like Saints and Scholars. You would have to buy a bottle if even then to get the quality of their house serve alone. I could write a book on the menu, not a bad choice to be found, but I will stop here. If you adore a good glass with a beautiful dinner/ brunch with exceptional service. Look no further.“

“Great view, and great staff, there were always long lines for the 2 bathrooms though. I also do NOT recommend the margaritas, they are pre-batched with some nasty mixers. Stick to the 1&1 (vodka soda, gin tonic etc), or beer. Our friends did order the burger, and it looked and smelled amazing.“

“Had a terrific lunch here. Some of the best ceviche I've ever eaten. Entrees were excellent and, according to my husband (who's been to Peru), authentic to the spirit of the country. I also got the arroz chufa with steak. Yum! Ample portions and good value. First meal on this trip to NYC and it'll be hard to beat. HIGHLY recommended.“

“Solid sports bar with good wings. We ordered three traditional wing flavors: buffalo, O'Hara's special sweet and spicy, and parmesan garlic. The O'Hara special flavor was by far the favorite of the group. I would not order the artichoke dip again as it was quite watery and tasted about the same as a frozen option from the grocery store. Although they have a great beer menu I was disappointed that my two preferred beers were unavailable to order (Blue Moon and cold snap). All things considered, I'd come back for the wings and the sports bar atmosphere.“

“This dive bar is simply the best. It is not a flashy, new concept type of bar. When I walked in, I had this bizarre, deja vu experience where it felt like home. It felt like I had already been there a thousand times before and everyone was an old friend. The drinks are cheap and they are served with love. Kinda wish I lived closer so I could visit all the time.“

“I'm a simple man. I saw a burger, beer, and shot happy hour for $10 and went running. I was expecting a little burger for the price but it was a solid tasty one. An added plus is the good selection of craft beer on draft. The bartender Stefany was very welcoming and hooked me up with an unconventional old fashion that hit the spot paired with the burger.
