I've visited many taco bells throughout the state of New York over the years. Cheap and fast. And yes, theres a few I wish I had passed by.

But, but Yorkville NY, John the one who made my sandwich, the damn bomb. My dang 3 dollar taco looked and tasted like he respected the art of food.

“I'm about 45mins away but when I am in area and need something quick I will make a point to go to this one vs others in the area. Service can be slow(they seem to all be) but they are always polite and have yet to forget anything. Which sounds easy enough but that seems to be a theme at other McDonald's.“

“Got two $5 biggie bags, prepared well burger not slopped together at all even the lettuce on the bacon burger was fresh and crispy, seemed warm and good fries. As long as its prepared well I always enjoy this meal when needing something quick, filling and cheap.“

“WOW!! Love Love Love this little place. lt’s great! First of all, we've been looking for a good burger place in the Union City, WNY, NB area, and it’s been tough, usually they’re mediocre at best, but not this one.
We walked jn and were warmly greeted. Our server was so sweet! She handed us a menu, which looks like an ipad, and there were so many choices, with pictures of the what the food looks like.
My bf and I ordered 2 burgers because we were in a burger mood. I can say that it definitely wasn’t a disappointment! The burgers were juicy, tasty and big! Definitely the Best burger we’ve had in the area.

The place is small, but so charming with all the decor. And they have a TV screen which shows how all the food is prepared. definitely makes you hungry!

Granted, the burgers were messy but definitely worth it! Besides the fact that they give you utensils.

As we were walking out, we ran into one of the owners, And we had to tell him how much we loved the place and the food.

Parriyas is absolutely a great choice for sandwiches and bowls and the wonderful service!

I must slight crowd good sign so far meaning the food was on a heavy rotation orders coming in and out, more of a reason for me to order. Who doesn’t like fresh food and they prices wasn’t bad at all let’s see how long that’s going to last before they start jacking it up,but that’s another story for another day. Place was clean so I placed my order mix over rice and lemonade to stay. “Great location right off the plane and into shake shack. Our cashier Tanbin was great, helping with our order. This location has the veggie shack for anyone looking 👍. They also have kiosks for quick ordering as well. Convenient! Great option once you get into NYC and need a quick bite.“

“I got chicken over rice for $12 hands down best deal I’ve had in all of NYC as a foodie. It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! “My buddy talked highly of this place so I gave it a shot. In less than a month I've made the trip 3 times and can't wait foe the next. The owner and his wife are fantastic, welcoming, and super into thier craft. I say craft because these aren't generic combinations, theyre thought out combinations and flavors that work perfectly in whatever way you like. It's my favorite hot dog spot I've ever visited. I can't wait to go again!“

Every time we are craving something this is our go to place and it’s pretty close by as well. A lot of options to choose from and the service is great! “Food is good. Especially if you love chicken tenders. But you definitely need the sauce to make complete. Unfortunately service was bad. I hate to say it. No please, thank you and any type of politeness when taking an order or giving your meal. Unfortunately every employee was chatting with another co worker. Food took a very long time to come out. Sadly won't be coming back to Astor. I hope it improves on customer service.“

“My husband and I dine here at least 2–3 times a month, and it never disappoints. We’ve eaten at Balkan restaurants all over New York, New Jersey, and across the country—and this is, without question, the best of them all.

The ćevapi, burek, and embelsira are unmatched. Every dish is consistently perfect. I choose this restaurant every single time.

“Went for the honey pork bun and the small Thai fries. The bun is really small. You can see my finger in the photo for size comparison. Everything was very tasty though. It's like having a sweet bacon sandwich. Next time I might order a bucket instead. The Thai fries had a good amount of seasoning and was good with the included mayo. I got dessert in Alamo Drafthouse later so I'm glad the portions weren't big. Gave me room. Expensive though.“

“I have been a loyal customer of k street food since they opened. I would have given them 5 stars, however lately I noticed changes to certain dishes I am accustomed to purchasing. The food here was always fresh and tasty. I sure hope Mr. and Mrs. Moon ,( owners/ read these reviews, since they're no longer working here. The dish Japchae ( sweet potatoe glass noodle) was a great dish that I always ordered with grilled chicken. It was very tasty with it's own vegetables in the mix. The grilled chicken was always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, I ordered this same dish and it only has a few slices of red pepper , a few greens. It tasted mostly like a Sriracha noodle. The chicken is not the same. It tasted strange. For one, it isn't the same white meat grilled chicken and even if it's dark meat, the issue was the taste. I'm truly dissatisfied. Please don't change the original dishes that made us fall in love with your establishment. Looking forward to your progress. Namaste 🌻“

“I went there with my bf and he said it was pretty good a year ago when he tried it so we tried it together this year. I didn't know what to expect, but the person at front was very nice! And it only took 15 minutes to cook which was a really reasonable time. When the food came it looked amazing and tastes amazing too! It was super affordable and it's very filling as well!“

Was delicious: simple, hot, and greasy. A good amount of meat for a low price these days, and came out fast.

“This was my third time coming here, and they won me over as a customer over 7th street, burger head, and all the others.

Burgers here are great! Juicy, flavorful, gentle crisp on the patties. All ingredients are always fresh and delicious.

Fries are to match the burgers. They serve battered fries and a selection of seasonings. Always hot and crispy, never under a lamp.

What really made me write this review was the SERVICE!
You can order from the tablet if you’re antisocial like me, get your food and sit alone… but the staff here are more than happy to take your order.

Today I came in for lunch, decided to try the chai shake. They were out of straws.
Jada (or Jayda, sorry, wasn’t paying attention, busy day!) told me this when she gave me the shake and said “I took the whole shake off, sorry about that”

No straw, but I can totally get one somewhere else…. For the price of a shake, I can get 2 sodas.
This was a great recovery for something so small.
It made me think back on the days when I worked food service, and would think “eh, they’ll get a straw somewhere”

5 minutes later, Jada came back with a straw!
Somewhere close-by probably helped out, but it’s this level of SERVICE, that’s commendable.

To the owners and managers reading this, I really hope ms Jada gets a raise.

Will be coming back here about twice a month for lunch and whenever I’m in the mood for a burger.“

“I had the Fat Western Boy, and I can EASILY say it is in the Top 3 burgers I have had in my life. Like, eaaaaasily.

The burger was incredible, the mix with the patties, the taste, the cheese… The cheese was godly. I truly enjoyed it, like, a lot. I wish I had bought two of them, or three, or four.

The place is small, yes. Nevertheless you are having a burger. No need to be sitting and talking there for hours.

If you visit NYC, this place is a MUST.

Plus the guys in the back were listening to some Spanish bangers that made the wait even shorter.

Imma visit for sure every time I am in NYC, I honestly have zero interest in trying any other places because from all the places I have been to, this place is fire. Therefore, the search has ended. Case closed, guys!“

“Can't blame for where this location is located. Parking is shared with a couple of other franchises with very limited. Small groups of youngins hanging out in the parking area smoking whatever which may create an uncomfortable atmosphere for many. Checkers itself is good. Fairly quick service, very attentive and clean store.“
