15 Best Asian Restaurants near Akron

“Best Thai food in Akron!!!“

“We stopped in for the first time and tried a few things having zero idea of what the dishes are. Tried the chicken Kiev, osh plov, pickles dish and somsa. The somsa comes with a sauce that is VERY spicy 🥵 fyi. Food was all very good the rice is very buttery and I liked the flavored combos in the osh plov with the meat and beans. We tried some sparkling water because they were out of soda and we tried pomegranate and a strawberry lime and preferred the strawberry“

“First time here and we got multiple things. Adam took great care of us. So good, large portions, and we'll definitely be back!“

“my husband and I dined there this past Sunday, we loved it I'm all about Asian food he is not, he got a Philly steak sub with onion rings and he loved it, it will be a recurring spot for us to eat!“

“Great sushi and great staff , we have been here a couple of times and will be back 4.5/5“

“absolutely love here. They're friendly, foods always amazing and so is their drinks.“

“I am definitely to recommend this restaurant“

“Today I went to this location for a late lunch early dinner and was met by Les who was the bartender. She was one of the best if not the best bartender/server I’ve ever seen. She noticed an older customer walking to the door and she went to help her even though she didn’t need to. It has restored my faith in humanity especially these days. Thank you so much Les! 😊“

“We've been ordering from Phoenix Express for years. They recently remodeled the restaurant and it looks amazing. Great food and now a great atmosphere!“

“Great food, terrible service.... if they find servers w/ better attitudes they will be great. the food here is good though....“

“Fresh and delicious sushi! Wonderful service with a smile! From the miso soup to the hot matcha.. just a beautiful dining experience altogether. Thank YOU!“

“Hidden gem. Beautiful decor reminds me of old Hollywood. Food was delicious you receive enough for late night or lunch tomorrow. Service was super friendly. thank You.“

“Amazing food and service. Always reliable to taste the same great taste for almost over a decade or more. Quick and easy in the mall. Their orange chicken is so good I'm surprised they never opened another small takeout place somewhere else. Staff is always kind. All negative reviews are wrong or mega outdated. Been coming here since I was a young kid before teen years and now I'm all grown up. Happy to keep eating here 🩷“

“Been going here for years but it's getting run down. The foyer smells of mold from the giant constant flow of water Buddha Fountain, and enclosed area with no circulation. Was tempted to dumb bleach in the Buddha pool but that's where the donation coins are for Buddha's blessings on the donor. So, we also offer incense, flowers, light, food, chanting, and prostrations to Buddha with this understanding. But our offerings need not be material things; we can offer any experience we enjoy to Buddha, like a good single malt scotch on the rocks down the hatch. First time visitors may be turned off and think the food is not good or turn around but it is above average chow, steamed dumplings are the best. Decor needs an upgrade, some vintage Las Vegas lounge booths obscure the huge mirrors on the north wall, and I was looking for the lizard singer! Staff is rather curt but efficient. Rating B-. PS: don’t try and ride the elephant statue out front, you'll get a real surprise.“
