“First time! Excited! Heard nothing but compliments. The restaurant had many open seats. We enter and a person of upper management looked up and punched in something and then directed the server. The server, under direction took us to the worst place in the restaurant. My prayer was that it wasn’t because we were a family of color. I tried hard to disregard the thought as we were directed to sit outside the kitchen door. :—/. I was getting away from the kitchen. That was the last place I wanted to celebrate our special occasion. I asked for a different place in the restaurant that was housing one other visible couple. She was very happy to oblige us. When a restaurant is full, I can understand…. But this was far from the case. The server was 5STAR ! Food 5STAR ! “The food an service is excellent. We both had steak and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. The waitress was exceptional. It was our birthday and at the end of our dinner she brought us both a peice of cake . I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Right when we arrived we sat at the bar and Angela took great care of us. She is the GM and does a wonderful job running the restaurant. We had a nice table for 4 and food was amazing from Caesar salad to Tomahawk and nice sides! We will be back soon!“

“I feel like I got cheated from an awesome experience because of my waiter Adonis. he was not rude, he was just inpatient, he didn't recommend any toppings for my steak and was so matter of fact, he said he been there for a while like 8 years but it was so rushed and he was a somewhat of a mr know it all, I would go back but I would want a different server, he like finished my sentence and didn't take my request seriously it ruined the mood, the steak was ok, Def not in my top 5 steak house in the area!“

“The food was delicious. The special tomahawk was well made and sliced tableside, and the sides were absolutely delicious. I particularly loved the carpaccio and the watermelon salad, as well as the green beans and twice-baked potato. And the peach old-fashioned was well-made and served promptly. Dining with my parents there is a bit of extra stress, but our server Heather was super knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive.“

“I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Austin Smoke and Steak House twice now, and both visits were excellent. On our first visit, we tried the fish tacos, ahi tuna, French onion soup, and prime rib—and every dish delivered. The standout was the prime rib, perfectly cooked and served with a horseradish sauce that’s absolutely to die for. You can really taste the freshness and homemade quality in every bite.

On our second visit, we started with the artichoke dip and then enjoyed the shrimp zoodle and a crisp house salad. Everything was flavorful, thoughtfully prepared, and accommodating to dietary needs—very allergy-friendly, which we really appreciated. The drinks from the bar were also a highlight: creative, refreshing, and well-balanced.

From food to service, everything has been consistently fresh and delicious. It’s clear this place takes pride in their craft, and it shows. If we ever come back here this will definitely be on the list of must stop!

“I got theee this morning at about 8:30 and they had it clean... I got the western omelette... It was so good and hot...the home fries had just enough seasoning... And the customer service was great... I used to eat there all the time I hadn't been there in a while... But I have to say I was very impressed today 😃“

Thanks Ms. Charlie for the excellent service for our birthday celebration. You did a great job getting orders for 15 people. The Resturant had a private room with came in very handy.. I suggest that management hire and try to keep good staffing, so the restaurant can't continue to thrive, function at a high level and keep great people that want to working and help you stay successful !“
