“MBAG (Mike's Bar and Grill) is a great spot for some good drinks and food. It can be pretty busy inside depending on when you get there. Also, be aware that the owner is trying to correct the kitchen time on Google, but the kitchen closes at 9p, not 10p throughout the whole week! I usually get the chicken parm sandwich (which is stellar!) but tried the august porkbelly blt taco special. It was honesty very underwhelming. I subbed regular mayo for the Sriracha, but the real issue was the micro sliver of meat. I could barely taste. And I'm saying it was like a quarter piece of bacon but pork belly instead. Anyways, the other food at the table was delicious (except the fresh cut fries were a tad undercooked). Only other thing to mention is that the patio is lovely! But, if you get seated at a high top under the umbrellas, and it gets dark, there are no lights. And it's pretty dark, to the point where it's hard to see your meal. Service was very good, very friendly! Great place and definitely frequent a couple times a month.“

“My wife and I wandered into this place on a Sunday night after a concert at Baldwin-Wallace University. Nothing else was open and we weren't sure what we would find. What we found was an incredibly welcoming place. The kitchen was closed so we ordered drinks, which were fantastic. After talking with the bartender, and sharing our respective heritages of Poland and Alabama, he kindly fired up the grill and prepared a special batch of pierogis. They were the best pierogis I had had since childhood. Many thanks for the warm hospitality and excellent food and drink. Coffee alone is a strong flavor, so it stands to reason that strong flavors like black pepper and a good olive oil would work with it. The basil syrup is a nice sweet note, a little subtle for my taste, but we’re here to be bold, and this adventure is worth taking. The croissant, so perfectly buttery and crispy all at once is heaven paired with a pistachio butter and marmalade; a worthy accompaniment to that singular coffee.“

“The food and restaurant were great! The bathrooms were absolutely horrible. They were very dirty and not at all maintained. I felt like I was back at a college bar. There was no soap in the containers, just a hand soap bottle left on the sink that was uncomfortable to even touch. No paper towels, very little toilet paper. The floor was littered. The walls had graffiti. I was so disappointed and the condition made me worry about what the kitchen looked like. For a restaurant in Crocker park, where the prices were high, should not have a restroom that looks like that! It's not like they were too busy to get to it either as there were only two or three tables filled with customers to take care of. Thus will keep me from going to this place again.“

“been coming here since I turned 21 (almost 23) by far the best prices, best service, amazing pizza and hot dogs, great pool tables, touch tunes, and vape vending machine. Don’t get me started on the owner, Krystie, she has done wonders for this place! She’s so efficient and personal, she makes every experience the best, and has some of the best bar tenders! “What a great place! My wife's been here several times before but this was my first chance to join her. I love the space and the concept, and the owner was super friendly and answered my many questions about the business and the beer.
One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that there were several beers that I would have never ordered normally, but since it was by the ounce I was able to do a lot of sampling and found that I enjoyed a couple more than I would have guessed. Great place to expand your beer palate!“

I thought that was cool and I didn’t know this initially. I came for the restaurant/rooftop. We went upstairs and they had a good playlist of songs , the food was amazing !!!! Absolutely delicious. I order the fire roasted shrimp as appetizer and it was so good when the veggies !! Although it said fire it wasn’t hot at all. It was Made just right . I ordered the chicken and waffles as my entree . Chicken was cooked perfect and the hot honey syrup was good as well . We also order the BBW wings and fries which were good too. I tried the green apple slushy mixed with the peach one and added my choice of liquor ! Delicious!!! Our sever Tone was great ! I will definitely be back. It’s a LBGTQ restaurant and they have drag brunch on Sundays ! I’ll be going to check it out . I’ve always wanted to go to one and now I do ??“

But the decor, the bartenders costumes/makeup was amazing! If you like creepy and horror themes, you will want to plop yourselves here for a bite to eat and maybe catch a sports game on the tube.
