“Very good dinner meal. Terrific meat loaf, gravy, mashed potatoes and buttered spinach. Always enjoy Sonny Boy when back on the Valley. If there are new owners, they were friendly at the check out. Great service and food for a decent price. One of the few places Biden has not ruined.“

“Came in today Saturday may 9th for early mothes day dinner and we had the best server Diana she is a delight 😊 she came up with a smile she joked around with us. And the way she suggests items was great my husband was having a hard time deciding what he wanted, he has the beginning of alzheimers and she sat there with him and helped him order his food. She didn't care how long it took and she did it with a smile. I watched her go from table to table and the whole time with a smile and an up-beat attitude it made my visit very enjoyable. She deserves a raise or some kind of reward. We need more people like her.Thank you Diana .“

“I went to breakfast here today for my daughter's birthday. She is turning 9 and when Rachel heard that, they put a candle in her French toast, started singing happy birthday, and the entire diner joined in! Courtney was our server and she is an absolute gem! She kept a positive attitude, a smile on her face, and each and every table was taken care of. I highly recommend checking this place out! “The server was so friendly, they were like family. The food is good Home cooking. The mashed potatoes and gravy were made from scratch and the Salisbury steak was made with top quality meat. We had the blackberry cobbler. The crust was flaky, buttery, and delicious. I going back tomorrow for more.“

Salads were not presented as advertised, with missing ingredients , and quality of ingredients were lacking. Our server did ask if we needed more salad dressing for both salads. “I ordered the Deck Salad with grilled chicken. Don't expect to eat the whole thing, it is huge. Loved it! It had blackberries as big as my thumb, strawberries and blue berries. And, of course, it had dried cranberries, pecans and feta cheese. I would order it again. I wish they would bring back the Reuben dog. It also was delicious.“

The menu had a plethora of choices from pizza, pub grub, seafood, many salad choices (I recommend the basil vinaigrette) and great steaks! Definitely my new go to spot when visiting Wheeling.“

“Pickles is a great local bar with really good food. Thursday wing night is the best deal around. Fulton Philly & other options a really tasty. Staff is always friendly and quick even when very crowded. Great beer prices and a fun atmosphere.“

“I’m traveling for work and am eating alone. I chose the hotel I chose because the options within walking distance ( why risk giving up a parking spot at the hotel when you can walk?)

I decided days ago I was going to eat here. Now, my husband is a meat cutter from way back lol , I didn’t even care for steak until he showed me what GOOD steak was.

I’ve ate at many steak houses, all are fine usually. But tonight, this was perfect. Imma bit .. particular.. seen it comes to my food because we cook at home so I KNOW what I like.

Well, tonight, the New York strip, the Brussels, the bread that tastes home made ( we have a bread maker and make our own frequently) , are delicious. And not just that. But it come out HOT still. I had to blow it so in didn’t burn burn the baby ( me, I’m the baby lmao)

My wait staff , Jasmine, was amazing, she didn’t interrupt, but she checked in. I honestly don’t care to be interrupted. Just notice me if I raise a hand and check in once or twice!

“This is one of my favorite restaurants because of the quality of the food without breaking the bank with friendly servers and comfortable atmosphere. The only drawback is it's so far from where we live in Pittsburgh. It's more than hour drive if there's no traffic just to eat here. I ordered the Spagna, a spaghetti and lasagna hybrid under $11 and my partner order the grilled chicken fettuccine Alfredo for $14.99. Also, they have the best peach ice tea bar none with free refills to boot. So, we can't complain. Highly recommended if your visiting West Virginia.“

“I love this restaurant and come here often. Stopped in yesterday for my birthday and the waiter brought our drinks and then didn’t come back to our table for 25 mins. Tried to get his attention a couple times. When he finally did I asked for the check to pay for the drinks. As I was leaving (as he had no other tables) he was on his phone . So I guess that’s why we didn’t get waited on. Still a great place to eat with great food“
