“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!“

I was really looking forward to enjoying my favorite pizza, but there was hardly any meat on it at all. The entire pizza had the amount of meat that one piece usually has. Also, I didn't taste any BBQ sauce. I wonder if they even gave me the correct pizza. I sure hope they didn't skimp because it was BOGO.

From the moment we sat down, he was on it: friendly, attentive, quick, and genuinely helpful without being overbearing. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and that makes all the difference.
Food was great, drinks were right, but the service is what really stood out. Malcolm made sure everything was right the whole time and never missed a beat. If management’s paying attention, that’s the kind of employee you want leading the charge.

“I grew up on Whitehouse Chicken. It’s been a staple of my childhood. I don’t live in town anymore but was in town visiting family and wanted to share my love for Whitehouse Chicken with my kids. We stopped in but the restaurant was closed and we could order takeout out. Because we had a group of 6 we were hoping we could dine in. We were so grateful when we asked if we could stay and eat. They let us stay and eat in! The food was the delicious, the staff was absolutely incredible and so sweet for allowing us to sit and eat. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at Charley's Cheesesteaks on Waterloo Rd, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! I ordered the regular chicken Philly along with a side of Cajun fries, and I was thoroughly impressed.

First and foremost, the speed of service was remarkable. My order arrived quickly, which is always a plus when you're hungry, but what surprised me was that the quality did not suffer in the slightest. The chicken Philly was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, with a generous amount of tender chicken and fresh toppings that made every bite satisfying.

“Got the Grand Papa pizza and some cheesesticks. Ill start off by saying that everyone there was very freindly and it wasn't a bad experience by any means. I will be going back again as I enjoy their pizza and its always very quick and a good price. I tried a different pizza than normal and I just didn't enjoy it. It was over cooked and not a ton of sauce. The cheesesticks were also a little on the done side. I still ate it and it was ok, just not the best that I've had from there. I'll go back to my usual and be just fine.“

“everyone's comments are kinda biased. for what it's worth I eat here everyday by delivery and haven't ever had an issue. does it take a while sometimes yeah..but you gotta think. visually. do you see ALOT of staff on floor. not particularly. do you see alot of drivers. no. it's the same 2 or 3 maybe. whom i assume are busy doing their job. driving. ..in the winter. so I'd say.im fairly pleased with it. also. i spend so much money at this store everyday of my life.
