The beekeeper was nice. A little sweet from the honey but not overpowering. I preferred it closer to room temperature than right out of the oven.but thats my preference

“This is a wonderful coffee shop and probably the best one in the area, it was recommended to us by an employee at Pet Supplies Plus. My wife and I now stop in every Saturday, I get my usual Cappuccino with Oat milk and a vegan coffee cake muffin, she likes to try various coffee drinks. The coffee is wonderful and the staff is amazing. One little caveat is they really need to turn the overhead fans off or at least down. They are always at the highest setting and coffee goes from hot to iced within minutes as a result.”

“My choice for Mother’s Day was to go to the Centerville location today for dessert. There were only two young workers there and a huge crowd. These two were fantastic! I did not get their names but it was whoever was working around 5:30pm. They gave us moms wonderful and kind service. And I’m sure they have their own mammas at home that they could have been with instead of working. So thank you to them both!”

“Our Sunday School class met at Doubledays for lunch on 2/21/24 for our monthly luncheon and to celebrate a members 93rd birthday. There were 29 of us and we were accommodated so nicely. Patrick waited on us and he did an absolute wonderful job. Our food was delivered timely and it was so great. Thank you Patrick and staff for a job well done.”

“I always enjoy coming here for the clam chowder and carrot cake. Normally, the service and food is very good. Today was an off day since they seemed understaffed and ran out of carrot cake. (Our server did a good job but it seemed like only she and another person were dealing with customers. It was a Sunday afternoon and we had a very large party (about 17 people)).”

“I'm in Centerville Ohio today showing condos. I love finding small, family-owned restaurants that have been in business for more than a minute. I asked the Google Machine to take me to the best local Italian restaurant, and it sent me to Tuscany's Italian Restaurant and what a treat it was. The owner makes her own dough daily for her thin crust pizzas and bakes it in a gas oven instead of the track ovens used by many. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve had n a long time. The owner is from Jordan but her mother is Italian and taught her how to make fabulous Italian dishes and pizza. I highly recommend this place.”

“Years ago I came here and was not a fan. Decided to give the place another go and it did not disappoint!! By far some of the best poutine I’ve ever had. Also a big fan of the southern comfort foxy fries (I actually dreamt about getting them again). Truly could not choose a favorite between the two. My boyfriend and I have gone twice this week it is so good. Also tried the pulled pork sandwich which the meat and bbq sauce were terrific, my only complaint is that it could’ve had a little more meat on it. We also had the wings which were well seasoned and the sauce on the side complimented them well. We already want to come back and try the smash burger and other items on this menu. Very excited to add Lock 27 into our restaurant rotation.

*update as we now come here once a week. The classic smash burger is out of this world, we have to order atleast one when we come. Also tried the blue cheese chicken sandwich (swapped BC for Swiss though) and it did not disappoint. The slaw was a little too wet but the chicken was crispy and not too thick. The poutine has been consistently amazing. This fall they had my personal favorite HVO blackberry bliss on tap and then rotated to a similar berry cider that might have turned into my *new* favorite drink. Also had a berry cocktail (name?) since my original review and it was good. They can’t serve liquor on sundays though.”

“Came here to write a review about how pleasantly surprised I was at this McDonald's. We stopped on a road trip and found the restaurant clean and well maintained. The best part was that I ordered an iced coffee and asked if they could make it decaf. At first they said no because there was only hot decaf, but a few minutes later, an employee came to my table with a cup of iced decaf and said she had cooled it down for me. The coffee was perfect, but she offered at least twice to remake it for me if it wasn't. The service here was so wonderful!”
