Hello, my name is Malaki with fire and ice Wedding planning, My Couple Jody & Stephanie used them for their wedding. They did the initial consultation with them alone. And they Took notes for their inspiration at the time.
I contacted them about a month out to get the mock up design so I could doublecheck they had brought the right cake. They refused to give me a Mock up design ( Because they didn’t want anybody stealing their work, which I understand, but is not industry custom) They had really good reviews in my clients had already done the down payment. So we continued with their services.
The cake that showed up was not like What they talked about at all. It was all wrong, and I had no reference photos to be able to judge it. And tell them to take it back or fix it.
We called them and to tell them At the end of the wedding day that the cake was not done correctly and we wanted a partial refund and they refused saying they did it perfectly
100% would NOT recommend“

“I love this place 😋 the softness is unmatched but I went here to pick up some cake for Mother’s Day and it was the assorted variety with velvet ,vanilla , chocolate and I believe lemon however we couldn’t wait to bust it open when we got home BUT THAT WASNT THE CASE we DEVOURED THEM in the parking lot and we were tempted to get of the car to get more but unfortunately we fell into a cake coma situation 😂 and had the best nap after but I love the staff they were nice and will be coming back for more ! So nothingbundtcake get ready to take my money !“

“We bought cupcakes for our sons birthday two years in a row now! Just a heads up for everyone, we got blue icing on his large cupcake, it was all over his shirt. Blue stains. We rinsed it overnight in water then threw it in the wash, no more stain! Whatever food coloring they use is easily removed from the wash.“

“Finally got to try out the Grist and we weren’t disappointed. To be honest, the food was just good, maybe not great, but the servers and the aesthetic of the restaurant were really great. We were surprised to still have a 10 mins wait for a table at 1pm on a Thursday but good for them! We’ll be back.“

“Some of the greatest pies in America! While I haven’t lived in the Dayton area for 20 years, any time I’m in the area for work I ALWAYS make a stop for sweet treats to bring back home to Alabama. Every person I have introduced to Mehaffie’s has fallen in love with their pies. This most recent trip I had 2 coworkers with me and we left out of there with over 10 pies. My haul was 2 sugar cream, 1 strawberry, 1 peanut butter and 1 pecan. We stopped and grabbed a cooler and they made the 7 hour trip home with no issue! My family divided our spoils among other local Daytonites. If y’all figure out a way to ship these pies, most importantly the sugar cream ones…I’d like to be the first in line.“

“I actually love this Kroger outside of this horrendous experience I had last week. I went to change my grandson in one of the restrooms and this is what the station looked like. I reported it to the Service Desk. I came back the next day to pick up a prescription and I went back to look at the restroom…it was exactly the same. No difference at all. This is horrible Kroger. Get it together!“

Definitely not a full service Bakery, but a Great Donut Shop.
The best thing I got was the Apple Fritter.
I had to change this statement, (The Cake Donuts are at a standard level, no rich flavor or aroma.) the Cake Donuts were the third best I have ever had; moist, rich flavor and had a great aroma.
The Yeast Donuts are above average.
Staff Very friendly.
Very Clean!
A great thing is they are open on Mondays.
Especially if you need a good Doughnut on Monday when you're traveling between Cincinnati and Dayton.“
“I just have to laugh… what is this?! Who trained these cake decorators?! 5 stars because it was just a kid working who decorated this but really??!! I’ll jazz it up when I get home but you can’t tell me they looked at this after decorating and thought “yup, that’s a winner” ??“
