“I was traveling to Centerville to visit friends and had never been here before. I needed a birthday cake and looked up this bakery. She was so helpful and willing to work with me regarding pick up times, even helping to coordinate with my flight arrival time! The customer service was amazing. On top of that, the cake was so moist and delicious, it was a big hit and our friends who live here will be back to order more in the future! We had a buckeye cake and it was so so good. “I recently ordered cupcakes from Ashley's for our wedding, and we can't say enough about them! We placed the order last minute after our original plan wasn't coming together as we envisioned. Theresa was extremely accommodating and even let me come and taste test some flavors when I visited. The cupcakes were delicious, and all of the frosting/fillings were incredible. We had a large variety of flavors, and our guests loved them. We're so thankful to Ashley's for being a part of our special day!“

“Wow. First time eating at Grist. The ambiance is relaxing/chill. The menu selection is on the smaller side....but there's a reason....cause everything they make is outstanding. We started with meatballs. I shared them with the table of 8. Everyone loved them. My wife ordered the Rosemary & Parmesan Focaccia bread...best bread I have ever had! Wife is a bread snob and she loved it. Wife ordered Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. She shared some with me. It was very good. She really liked it. I ordered the Slow Roasted Pork Raviolini. Wow. It was incredible. Wife said it was a lil spicy...but oh...the taste. She loved it as did everyone there...we shared so everyone could taste it. Wife ordered tiramisu. She loved it. I'm not a lover of tiramisu but I liked it. I got a cannoli. It was very good. I also got a chocolate chip cookie. It was great. Grist is definitely a hidden Dayton gem. If you love Italian food...you will love Grist.“

“I know, everyone has had the best donut ever. This place my favorite by far. Twisted glazed is so soft and delish! Huge jelly filled and THE best old fashion Ive ever had!! Cold milk & hot coffee. This is a must visit. Ive been stopping by here on my way back from Cincy for a long time. Always fresh and friendly staff. I bring home six old fashion and freeze 'em.“

“My wife and I recently went gluten free for health reasons. Learned of this place and have tried several of their items. All of them have been amazing! The only thing I might suggest is a light icing or no icing option on the donuts and cupcakes. While it’s VERY good- at times it is a little much. But give this place a try. Everything tastes great and the staff is super nice!!“

“I love this place 😋 the softness is unmatched but I went here to pick up some cake for Mother’s Day and it was the assorted variety with velvet ,vanilla , chocolate and I believe lemon however we couldn’t wait to bust it open when we got home BUT THAT WASNT THE CASE we DEVOURED THEM in the parking lot and we were tempted to get of the car to get more but unfortunately we fell into a cake coma situation 😂 and had the best nap after but I love the staff they were nice and will be coming back for more ! “Ordered rhubarb pie and strawberry pie. I didn't order the rhubarb pie for myself but the person that got the rhubarb pie loved it. I ate the strawberry pie and it was so good. The sauce was so delicious and not the store bought sauce you see in the stores. They are constantly busy. Worth the money. Plus they have a punch card for every 12 pies you will get one free.“

“I actually love this Kroger outside of this horrendous experience I had last week. I went to change my grandson in one of the restrooms and this is what the station looked like. I reported it to the Service Desk. I came back the next day to pick up a prescription and I went back to look at the restroom…it was exactly the same. No difference at all. This is horrible Kroger. Get it together!“
