“The Hasty Tasty is my favorite breakfast spot in Dayton, hands down. The vibes? Immaculate. The food? It tastes like drunk philosophy and well earned hangovers. It tastes like bacon and eggs while my grandma smokes Pall Malls and argues with the next booth. It tastes like college homework. It tastes like snow days when my kids were little and we were broke but wanted to make it special. It is a Time Machine to the best parts of your life in the shape of a building. I hope it never changes.“
“I was looking for breakfast while up here working and saw all the reviews of the breakfast burrito. One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! My friend had the steak begal and loved it also. Thanks so much I'll be back everytime I'm up here!“

“We came in for a late lunch on a Wednesday for the first time. We were a party of 7. Everything was great! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Our food came quickly and was delicious! Our picky kids even found something on the menu to enjoy. We thought pricing was very reasonable too. Many upgrades have been made by the new owners and the place looked great. We will definitely be back!“

“I had the Western Omlett and a half order of biscuits and gravy. The omlett was very good with a generous amount ingredients inside. The eggs were cooked thin with the peppers, mushrooms, onions, and diced ham rolled inside with american cheese melted in top. The biscuits and gravy was a traditional sausage gravy. It had a good sausage taste and was not gritty. The coffee was good and bottomless! All-in-all a good value, I will be returning!“

“Overall, this is a great place to have a robust breakfast. Be aware that several of the meals take a while to prepare, even the oven-baked omelettes. But, the wait is worth it! The only downsides for me were that my water (my drink of choice) had food floating in it, and that there was an exhausted waitress complaining loudly to the greeter about how they were seating patrons. I’m sure these were anomalies (I haven’t had the chance to return to confirm if these are typical or just one-offs), so we should just assume it was just busy and that my two negative experiences weren’t the norm. The food was delicious and the portions were big, definitely worth the price. I would return if I was in the area again.“

“Decided to try the new WH in Middletown, after a total of 15 minutes of being ignored, we left and drove 4 miles to Franklin, We sat, ordered and had food on the table with in ten minutes. Waitress was super, food was perfect. Avoid Middletown, its worth the short drive to Franklin“

“I visited my local Waffle House for the first time recently. We were invited to sit at the counter, which turned out to be a mistake. The dishwasher was directly underneath our seats, so we could hear dishes clanking and the door slamming, and we could feel the vibrations while it was running. Combined with employees calling out food orders, it was pretty overstimulating—especially before I’d had my morning coffee.
That said, the food was served as expected, and our waitress was polite and attentive.
It’s also worth noting that Waffle House charges a 20% fee on to-go orders: a 10% service fee and a 10% tip for the preparers. Keep this in mind when tipping, as a standard 20% tip effectively becomes 30% due to this policy. That feels a bit excessive, especially for an order that doesn’t involve table service.“
