“James on the first shift is an exceptional rock star! His genuine care and enjoyment in his job shone through, creating an awesome dining experience. The outstanding food, from perfectly cooked waffles to hashbrowns covered, smothered, capped, and diced peppered, along with fantastic eggs and delicious apple butter with raisin toast, made the meal truly enjoyable. An unforgettable experience!“
“The inside design is very simple but modern I love how the chairs and the seating are comfortable the service is a bit slow but it always is a bit slow due to the people who come here the food was greatKid-friendliness: The staff were very helpful and nice to my children“
“Service was very good and efficient. We came twice during our trip here. I had the lobster Benedict, which was excellent except the cinnamon apples that came with it was a little bit of a peculiar pairing. The next day I had the lobster omelette, which was excellent. Really cute restaurant with lots of fun artwork on the wall for little ones to enjoy. Bloody Mary's unfortunately were lackluster. When in town again, we would happily eat here again.“
“Love sleepy bee! We come every time we visit from Florida! This was our first time at this location and our server Nadia was absolutely awesome! She was super sweet and helpful and we wanted for nothing the entire time! We loved the BLT and Bumblebee parfait bowl! Every ingredient here is locally sourced and you can definitely taste it! Don’t get me started on the coffee! This place has the best chai I have EVER tasted!“
“I was the only dot in the atmosphere... If you catch my drift... But I was in Reading on the backstreets lol... The food was A-1, though a little expensive. Still I wouldn't hesitate going to spend it again. I would recommend it for sure.“
“I really like the blueberry pancake. The carrot cake pecan pancake was not so much. And if you want real maple syrup you can request it for an additional charge. But the warm syrup they place on the table is the full of high fructose corn syrup. The coffee is strong with a bit of bitterness, but they do leave a pot on the table.“
“First Watch is a staple in our breakfast club rotation. The food and service is always good. Lots of different options and good sized portions. We go at 8:45 to beat the Saturday morning breakfast crowd, and never have to wait. If you go anytime after 9am, there’s usually a wait.“
“Great breakfast spot with faster than expected service. I ordered a scramble and the dish was seasoned quite well, didn’t need much salt or hot sauce honestly. Reasonable portions and selection of sides. Overall can very recommend stopping by for a quick bite in the morning.“
“The portions are big and the people are friendly here.We had the western omelet breakfast with 3 buttermilk pancakes. The omelet uses four eggs, so it was quite hearty. There was nothing special about the pancakes, though that came with the omelet. The freshly squeezed orange juice was pretty good. They were very busy, but the service was fast enough. We got a window seat, which was nice, but there was a fly buzzing around the whole time. We asked the waiter to kill the fly and he grabbed a magazine from somewhere and murdered the fly.The clientele was of the older generation. The locals seem to like this pancake house. We met some very friendly locals there and they gave this place very high marks.Overall, I felt like the food was average, but I would come back here again.“
“Perfect place for brunch! I have never been disappointed by any dish at this place, the overall quality of food is excellent and there is a wide variety of choices. Million Dollar Bacon is a must, if you like sweet/candied bacon. I always try to give the seasonal speciaty drinks a try, they are usually delicious and interesting! The service at this location has been excellent. One overall minor disappointing factor, for all First Watch locations that I have visited, is the use of low quality coffee creamer singles. This is a breakfast/brunch place, it is expected that many of the customers would drink coffee, why not use fresh real creamer that matches the high quality of everything else on the menu?Overall definitely recommended for breakfast/brunch!“
“We have been several times and is always fast, friendly service. The food always hits that specific craving for diner style, home cooked breakfast. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Free waffles for straight A's report card, coloring activities for kids too.“
“This is my new go-brunch joint. I love, love, loved! my experience here. The Lemon French Toast was heavenly, and the Biscuit sandwich made me want to live there. The prices were fair and the portions huge. I went on the weekend so we did have to wait a little bit for seating, but it wasn't bad. My only real compliment was how loud it was. I had a little bit of difficulty hearing my friend across the table, but that was just due to the number of folks around us. I live on the other side of town and will happily drive to meet a friend here. Absolutely delightful restaurant.“
“My husband and I were passing through the area and stopped for breakfast. The staff were clearly having a good time with each other. Smiles and laughs. It was nice to see. They all obviously knew what to do and how to do it. Our service was impeccable. The food was exactly as ordered and good. I definitely recommend it.One note to the staff...you were really enjoying the music, so we didn't ask it to be turned down, but it was very loud. Consider turning it down a bit? Maybe just when there are old fogies sitting by the speaker. ?Parking: There's a bit of a maze to get to the place. It isn't an easy off the highway. You have to enter a mall complex and drive to it. Plenty of parking.“
“This location is currently only doing To-Go orders for their 3rd shift hours (9pm-7am) which is a policy being enforced by Waffle House Corprate (Midwest Waffles Incorporated)they are doing so in preparation for having a window installed that you will be able to order from instead of going inside. It is not a good call for corprate to enforce a to-go only policy in preparation for a window. This is causing many issues for the staff of the store including making customers become agitated and belligerent because they are unable to dine in or use the restroom why they wait for their food. Corporate should allow this location to do dine-in on 3rd shift up until the window is installed in order to keep the customers happy and the workers safe and making money. Their was an incident recently where a customer was agitated about the inability to dine in and they started making threats while possessing a firearm.Customers are also very upset that they are being forced to order To-Go and still being charged the 20% carry out fee. It doesnt make sense to charge someone an extra fee when you are forcing them to order that way. It has also been to the catalyst for several altercations with customers becoming belligerent. This waffle house needs to fix these issues before they lose more buiness or someone gets hurt just doing their jobs.“
“Stopped in for Breakfast and I have to say it was definitely a good idea, I ordered an omelet and normally I will ask if the cook will please not use a lot of oil , well I forgot to ask, but when my server brought my omelet it was perfect not oily or swimming in oil like I have received in the past from Waffle House Cooks, but definitely not the case this time I enjoyed my Breakfast with absolutely no issues,“
“Loved the atmosphere and the workers enjoying working together. Enjoyed listening to hip hop Christmas music which was a first. Always amazed sitting at the bar watching the cook handle multiple orders and staying calm in what would be hectic for anyone less experienced.“
“We just left and it was so good! The ham omg is to die for!!! It goes great with the waffle giving you a nice sweet and salty taste! Excellent customer service, everyone was so happy and it’s so nice to see at a workplace!! Friendly and wonderful environment! Thank you “
