“This location is currently only doing To-Go orders for their 3rd shift hours (9pm-7am) which is a policy being enforced by Waffle House Corprate (Midwest Waffles Incorporated)they are doing so in preparation for having a window installed that you will be able to order from instead of going inside. It is not a good call for corprate to enforce a to-go only policy in preparation for a window. This is causing many issues for the staff of the store including making customers become agitated and belligerent because they are unable to dine in or use the restroom why they wait for their food. Corporate should allow this location to do dine-in on 3rd shift up until the window is installed in order to keep the customers happy and the workers safe and making money. Their was an incident recently where a customer was agitated about the inability to dine in and they started making threats while possessing a firearm.Customers are also very upset that they are being forced to order To-Go and still being charged the 20% carry out fee. It doesnt make sense to charge someone an extra fee when you are forcing them to order that way. It has also been to the catalyst for several altercations with customers becoming belligerent. This waffle house needs to fix these issues before they lose more buiness or someone gets hurt just doing their jobs.“
“Loved the atmosphere and the workers enjoying working together. Enjoyed listening to hip hop Christmas music which was a first. Always amazed sitting at the bar watching the cook handle multiple orders and staying calm in what would be hectic for anyone less experienced.“
“Service was very good and efficient. We came twice during our trip here. I had the lobster Benedict, which was excellent except the cinnamon apples that came with it was a little bit of a peculiar pairing. The next day I had the lobster omelette, which was excellent. Really cute restaurant with lots of fun artwork on the wall for little ones to enjoy. Bloody Mary's unfortunately were lackluster. When in town again, we would happily eat here again.“
“Love sleepy bee! We come every time we visit from Florida! This was our first time at this location and our server Nadia was absolutely awesome! She was super sweet and helpful and we wanted for nothing the entire time! We loved the BLT and Bumblebee parfait bowl! Every ingredient here is locally sourced and you can definitely taste it! Don’t get me started on the coffee! This place has the best chai I have EVER tasted!“
“Breakfast was great. Fast. Being handicapped with crutches..server went above and beyond by opening all doors for me when I arrived and departed. He was great..we tipped way beyond expected hoping some of that tip goes to him..will returnParking: Parking is terrible..management company that owns property dies little for handicapped parking .accessible in front of first watch. Jimmy John's gets preferential parking with 5 dedicated spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Hard to navigate handicapped walking into restaurants“
“We stopped by Sleepy Bee cafe for brunch on a Sunday. The place was packed. We joined their waitlist on Yelp and were seated in 5-10 mins. This is a women owned business that locally sources everything they make. The food did not disappoint! We tried the mocha and the cappuccino. Both were excellent! Probably the best coffee I have had in a long time. For food, we got the Avi scramble and the breakfast burrito. Both were really good. We also tried their pancake of the day - the mango crunch cake. It was delicious and light - not too sweet either! The service was prompt and they do a great job making sure you receive your food promptly. They were very attentive despite being busy!“
“I was the only dot in the atmosphere... If you catch my drift... But I was in Reading on the backstreets lol... The food was A-1, though a little expensive. Still I wouldn't hesitate going to spend it again. I would recommend it for sure.“
“I really like the blueberry pancake. The carrot cake pecan pancake was not so much. And if you want real maple syrup you can request it for an additional charge. But the warm syrup they place on the table is the full of high fructose corn syrup. The coffee is strong with a bit of bitterness, but they do leave a pot on the table.“
“First Watch is a staple in our breakfast club rotation. The food and service is always good. Lots of different options and good sized portions. We go at 8:45 to beat the Saturday morning breakfast crowd, and never have to wait. If you go anytime after 9am, there’s usually a wait.“
“I went to breakfast and met my sister and I had a great experience! The food is always delicious!Vegetarian options: I had the Italian frittata and vinaigrette salad and it was amazing! I tried something different.Parking: Not much parking spaces availableYou may have to park and walk but it's freeKid-friendliness: Available for children and have food options for them“
“While in Cincinnati visiting our son, we decided to get some brunch. It was Easter Sunday and many places were closed so we expected it to be busy. We opted to sit by the bar.Service was quick and our food arrived faster than we expected. I had the Avocado Toast and my son had Chicken and Waffles. It was very very affordable. We will definitely visit there again and I will introduce to place to several of my co-workers. I appreciate that their menu was simple. I found it to have a decent selection. I love that their cocktails can be served in a carafe.“
“First time visiting the restaurant, never heard of it before. I was in the area to meet up with a friend that I haven't seen in years. I wanted to treat him to lunch, but had no idea where to dine. So, we met at a location and just started driving around. I pulled into a parking lot because I saw 3 restaurant side by side. A lady walked out of First Watch and I asked her about the food, she said it was delicious. So, in we went and boy am I glad we did.First, we had a wonderful waiter, I hate I didn't get his name ( I usually do), but I was a little preoccupied reading their delicious menu (yes, it read beautifully). I ask our waiter what he'd recommend and he said everything was good. Ok. That's the 2nd time I heard this in less than 10 minutes. LOL. He began to give me a run down of my choices, making each one sound better than the previous. It was to the point where I wanted to order one of each just to try them out. I know, it would not have ended well. Instead, I decided on two items and neither disappointed. I wasn't ready for the size of the dishes when they came out, so naturally I have lunch for tomorrow.Oh, my friend from work who I haven't seen in years...he enjoyed his food too. He also had to bring home 1/2 of his dish.I'm glad I made a few turns looking for a place to dine, it was a welcomed and pleasant experience. If you are ever in the neighborhood and want to stop for a bite to eat, you won't be disappointed. I plan on making those turns again soon, there are several dishes on that beautifully written menu with my name on them. What I'm saying is, I'll be back. ?“
“Food came out very fast! Iced coffee is very sweet (which is fine with me, but some may not like that). They were willing to make me bananas foster french toast which was great and my husband enjoyed his chicken and waffles as well. We are from out of town, but would definitely visit again if given the chance.“
“We went to have a bite to eat here after I had a long day of work and to our surprise the lobby is closed (can’t dine in) but you can order ToGo’s from a walk up window now. Sad what has come to them having to do this. But food was good as usual!“
“Expect a LONG wait on weekends! And expect it to be the kind of busy that results in it being loud and with OK but not stellar service, biggest issue was at checkout- she had no paper (or some other issue) so she didn't want to take my credit card. I said that was fine, I could pay in cash- and then she couldn't make change. And she was pretty rude about both. That made a reasonably pleasant breakfast much less pleasant- and was how the experience ended.“
“Laid back place for brunch. I visited for the first time in years. Sat at the "bar" service was fairly quick and my server was friendly. I got the Nashville hot chicken and waffles. Chicken breast was a little small, the Nashville hot sauce was WAY too spicy for me, I'm glad I tried a dab before pouring it on my chicken. The waffle and "syrup" were a good combo. This is a no hurry place where customers sit in their booths and talk for a looooong time. Atmosphere was conducive for this. A little pricey but affordable. Thumbs High. ?“
“I have been to First Watch many times, but I was highly impressed with the speed of service at this location. I was dining with a party of 6 at 9am on a Sunday, which I know tends to be a busy time for breakfast restaurants. I did the "get in line" option online and we were seated right away. Despite even taking time to look over the menu for a bit, we were eating less than 30 minutes later. The food was stunningly prepared too even with this quick turnaround. Every plate was delicious and looked like a work of art.“
“The food was regular...the waffles used to be bragged about everywhere. The food was good, but the experience maker was sitting at the counter - I will try to sit here always! The view, the engagement, listening to the crew, and being included in jokes and conversation made the meal. The service was good, but that could've been because it was "off hours," or before the late crowd hit. I will visit again because the hashbrowns are ALWAYS on point! (smothered, peppered, and onioned...or whatever they say, lol)“
“This is my new go-brunch joint. I love, love, loved! my experience here. The Lemon French Toast was heavenly, and the Biscuit sandwich made me want to live there. The prices were fair and the portions huge. I went on the weekend so we did have to wait a little bit for seating, but it wasn't bad. My only real compliment was how loud it was. I had a little bit of difficulty hearing my friend across the table, but that was just due to the number of folks around us. I live on the other side of town and will happily drive to meet a friend here. Absolutely delightful restaurant.“
“Took my great grandson's who are twins and they wanted to go to Waffle house for breakfast before we went shopping. for Christmas gifts for Mom and Dad. I took them here three years ago after I introduced them to the 12 days of Christmas. We entertained everyone there each year we go by singing the twelve days of Christmas. They loved it so much I got each of them each a waffle maker“
“We just left and it was so good! The ham omg is to die for!!! It goes great with the waffle giving you a nice sweet and salty taste! Excellent customer service, everyone was so happy and it’s so nice to see at a workplace!! Friendly and wonderful environment! Thank you “
“Great breakfast spot with faster than expected service. I ordered a scramble and the dish was seasoned quite well, didn’t need much salt or hot sauce honestly. Reasonable portions and selection of sides. Overall can very recommend stopping by for a quick bite in the morning.“
