“Visited on Sunday eve 12/12. The staff was friendly but it went downhill. Waited an hour for our food. Son in law order steak medium rare. It came looking like “shoeleather” Pot roast was a bit fatty. Other meals were good and hot and steak replaced. Cake for dessert was “stale” I feel they were so busy with carry out that the dining room was ignored“

“Went in this afternoon for my sister's b day. Mr. Bob was short staffed. We had the best service here with 1 man serving, 1 man cooking. Didn't make a mistake, and served our 20 people party accurately and kindly. He did everything by himself. Thanks Bob! We enjoyed your place. Thanks again“

“My family and I was there today to celebrate my mothers birthday, we ABSOLUTELY loved the food them ribs are to die for, however the memorable part was our server Tonya, I think I’m saying her name right, she was AMAZING I mean she engaged with my mom and son like if she was apart of the Family and THAT took us right away, the only downside was by the time we had received our drinks she was no longer our server which REALLY upset my mother, However the new server was nice she just wasn’t her,,, we LOVE the spot and enjoyed the whole atmosphere and my mother and Family DEFINITELY will be back we just hope that we run into that server Tonya again!!! OUR NEW FAVORITE SPOT!!!“

“This is my favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. The service and food is always on point. I get the garden hash for breakfast and either the scallops or the mushroom pasta for dinner. I love the ambiance in there as well. They have a nice outdoor area and they have areas you can rent out for parties. Highly recommend.“

“As usual we have a great time dining at Firebirds Mason location. I was with a friend whom has a garlic allergy and the Waitress and Chef were so accommodating. You could tell it was very important to them to help her with her food selection. When her meal was brought to her she was very pleased and stated how delicious it was. The rest of us ordered the Rib special which as always was delicious. I also appreciated the help the Waitress gave me on my Wine selection.“

“We love supporting our local businesses and love that nearly everything on the menu here is locally sourced. There are many positives for this restaurant, including warm & inviting service. The complimentary bubbly is also such a sweet touch! The ambience is unique and cozy so, overall, service is 10/10. I wish I felt differently about this next part, but I can’t say that the food is worth the price. It’s quite expensive for what it is. Nothing we received was bad by any means—it was good! But we had one entree (one of the cheaper options), two sides, two drinks, and spent nearly $200 after tip. In my opinion, charging $15 for a side of lightly seasoned roasted potatoes is too much, especially when the entrees easily run $60-80 by themselves. Plus, the average cocktail was $16. I would feel differently if everything tasted exquisite, but it all tasted good. Nothing particularly special, I hate to say. The spices in everything were conservative, and it seems that the majority of the flavor relies on the raw ingredients themselves. I applaud their choice of truly quality ingredients, but for the price we paid, I would expect a lot more flavor to be woven in via additional culinary choices.“

“I am admittedly not easily impressed, but my son and I had a great experience all around tonight for a quick bite. From the greeting when we walked in, our server Matthew and the food everything was spot on. Tables were being cleaned as people left, the bartenders were wiping down the station, the food came out hot and cooked properly, the employees having a genuine smile. I can honestly say that it was a better experience than I have had at some of the most high end expensive restaurants in Cincinnati. Keep up the great work! Thank you we will definitely be back.“

“Quite a fun and lovely evening. Wonderful atmosphere in vintage train cars from the 1940s and 50s. Railroad staff are in uniform and there is a great trio singing music from the time period. Service was friendly, efficient, and attended to our every need. The food was prepared on board the train and everything was very tasty! There is a full bar and several fun, themed cocktails. The route was great and offered some fantastic views. The conductor also provided some wonderful history along the route. I've been wanting to take the train for so many years, and I'm so glad I got the chance! Guests often dress in vintage clothing, so feel free to join in on the fun.“

Quinn was on top of everything and even though I just ordered a salad and fries, he treated me as if I had ordered the most expensive entree and bottle of wine. “Went here for a date night and left so full and happy!! Our server, Jenny, took such good care of us. It was nice to have the menu and specials explained to us in details and got a lot of recommendations from her, too. We ordered the crab cakes, mussels, lamb rack, their steak and crab special for the night. Everything was cooked to perfection with right seasonings and temp. We really enjoyed the special-the filet mignon was soooo tender and the crab was sweet! It was cool to have a candle lit butter and Cajun spiced lemon on the side for the crab. We were so stuffed at the end but couldn’t help but get dessert to go. The crème brûlée NY cheesecake is SUCH a treat and I’m so glad we got it. Service was 10/10, would recommend everyone to go here for nicer dinners.“
