“we went here for dinner & had a nice evening. My husband ate from the Vietnamese menu and I had orange chicken on the Chinese menu and we both very much enjoyed our food! we spoke with one of the new owners and she was super friendly!!!“

“The restaurant is for take out but they were kind enough to let my friend and me eat in.
The food was very good. We both got a lunch special with soup and egg rolls. Egg rolls were excellent. My Hunan shrimp was very good. My friend said here sweet and sour chicken was very good.
We will return.“

“I’ve been going to Tai Pan since I was a yungin and I always have loved it. The new ownership is pretty good but something isn’t the same. I still like it a lot but there isn’t any other Chinese places around to compare to. My only reason for the 4 star is because I always ask for spicy sauce with most of my chickens and it’s usually an underwhelming spice 🌶️ 😏. It’s also oddly peaceful in there which isn’t always my forte but it is 😌 relaxing. I’d recommend this place for after church lunches because that’s when it busts down 👅. Also I’m annoyed that on the “find your age to find your animal” menu, I come out to be a frickin chicken 🐓. I’ve always wanted to be the dragon. 🐉 regardless, I like Tai Pan a lot and do recommend their generals chicken and orange chicken.“

“First time visiting this restaurant. Very reasonable lunch prices. Staff was very friendly. Got the War Su Gai which is my favorite but some restaurants haven't made it the way I enjoy it. Theirs was perfect! Would definitely stop again when I'm in the area.“

“Great food, love this place. when I moved from Madison to painesville the one thing I quickly learned is that out west there isn't like an equivalent to Madison's jade Garden or Yun Tung and I sort of just accepted this and would just get Chinese food at the mall or go to the Japanese buffet if I wanted something similar. I always ignored this place because the reviews are like 3/5 stars. This is Mentor's equivalent of Yun Tung. The food here is always great and unlike the places in painesville it's consistently always good. This place deserves 5 stars, Mentor just has too many Karens bringing the rating down.“

Beef broccoli was plentiful and delicious.
But the fried rice is so plain and dry.
Terriaki chicken is tender and good but again the fried rice dry and so plain.
Service was good“
