SO glad we chose Rise & Dine for our breakfast/lunch! The food was absolutely amazing and the service we received from Maddie was just as good!! “Where do I start ? Came for dinner Wednesday night and then came for dinner Thursday again. That should say something . I’m beyond impressed by the Staff and the establishment, it beyond exceeded my expectations. We have a lot of fine dining in the Poconos region with some higher end restaurants and this place exceeded them. The quality of the food is superior. Take a look at some of the pics of the food we ordered. Ended up meeting Sean the head chef and impressed how he runs his kitchen , everything goes with the flow . Make sure you make a reservation :) we ended up not making one and we got seated over looking the kitchen and it was the best place. You see all the action. Can’t wait to come back from Poconos. “We had a large party and were seated in a private room. The space was comfortable and well-designed, with adjustable lighting options (on, off, or dim) and small lamps on each table that created a cozy atmosphere. Water was already set out when we arrived, and the menus were neatly placed on the plates.

The service was excellent. Multiple staff members checked in throughout the meal, making sure everything was perfect. They cleared used plates and silverware between courses and explained how the dining experience worked, noting that sides would be served “family style” to share.

I ordered the 6 oz filet, which came with bone marrow and was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. For appetizers, several of us had the French onion soup and fried artichokes, both of which were absolutely delicious. For sides, we enjoyed steak fries, whipped potatoes, dauphinois potatoes (my favorite), and grilled asparagus. Every dish was exceptional.

Overall, the entire experience was exceptional — from the atmosphere and service to the incredible food. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.“

“Our experience Friday at Crumb and Spigot was as usual - excellent! Our wait staff was great. He was attentive, informative and fun, without being annoying. The food was awesome - we had the marinara (or maybe the spinach) pizza and the dry-aged meatballs. Both were excellent. Service was great - minimal wait for drinks and food - couldn't ask for better. Crumb and Spigot has been consistently great every time we've gone. Great place and in our neighborhood!“

This place isn't reinventing the wheel but sometimes you just want a place where you know the food is consistent and tastes the same every time you order it.“

“Long time customer from when they took over the yesterdays restaurant. Years ago it was much better. The spaghetti was really a bolognese sauce that was AMAZING and would have been a $20 plate in other restaurants. That was 20 years ago. When they went to a marinara I asked why? And the owner told me no one would order it with the name bolognese lol. And they wanted a simple marinara sauce. Oh well. The rest of the menu started to suffer some when they started to open more restaurants. They started to not give a dinner roll when they use too, less stuff on a simple side salad. Saving a penny here and there. I know others that feel the same way. Mary's is still a good place. Fast service, always seem friendly lol. But it use to be very very good. Breakfasts are always great. Not much to change there. But some things show the cut backs to seemingly fund more restaurant. We use to go far more often then now. But we still go, and still happy with everything. But if you are a long term customer you saw the changes. Scale of 5 stars I would have gave it a solid 5 before. And I am a TOUGH grader on things as you can tell. Now about a 3.75. Service 4.75 Price 4.50 Food 3.00 I place a heavier value on the food as it is the real reason people go to a restaurant. TO EAT. Madison and Geneva is better to have them for sure. But we have so few good restaurants. What we need is a good deli. Not sure why but everything is pizza or fast foods or Italian. “My boyfriend and I stopped in while on a short road trip to Erie and have nothing but good things to say after our experience. From the start, we were seated and greeted by two very friendly staff members. Another waitress subbed in for our orders and helped us decide on which burgers to get which were both stellar choices. The draft menu was on point, appetizers did not disappoint and the main course trumped any burger restaurant we had ever visited. At the end, another waitress grabbed our bill and card in passing for payment and it felt like everyone there was a team. 10/10, zero complaints, only 5 stars for days and we were in and out in 1 hour flat.“
