“My wife and I got married at The Oaks last fall and if I could give them 10 stars, I would! The Oaks was perfect - from the food, the decorations, the staff, the ambiance, everything was spectacular. We were so happy with how everything went, and Alisa Otterbacher was absolutely amazing. She was there with us from the start of our planning all the way through the entire wedding day, and even checking in with us after the wedding to make sure we were happy. I could go on and on, but I'll simply state that The Oaks provided the absolute best experience we could have asked for, and we will continue to recommend them to anyone looking to host an event. For weddings, showers, corporate parties, or anything else, The Oaks is a must-have on your list.“

“Rittman historian Patt Watts says the city is named for Fred Rittman, former treasurer of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, which built a line through town in 1871. Previous name ‘Arkona’ had to be changed because it was too easily confused with Akron.

The Erie Depot opened 1871 on South Main Street, but farmers moved the narrow wooden building to its current location in 1913. Conrail took over Erie in 1976 and discontinued its Rittman service in 1983.

Debra Lieberth has owned The Depot for 20 years. Located across the tracks from Morton Salt facility, which means customers never have to worry about running out of seasoning.

“I have been there a few times and it never disappoints. The homemade lasagna is to die for . The spaghetti was the proper proportion and just wonderful in taste and texture. I have been there for a couple breakfast and everything was really good. I do also want to add about the atmosphere, and the people that work there they are funny attentive to our needs and pleasant to everybody. This is a must go to restaurant.“

“Stopped here after Castle Noel, we didn’t have a reservation but the hostess got us a table ! We had Kris as our server, very personable and knowledgeable she was awesome and made my guys bday extra special with a complimentary dessert 🧁 We then stopped over to the bar and the bartender (didn’t catch his name) was fabulous, drinks were delicious! This guy was non stop and on point! Thank you for a great experience“

“usually I do not waste my time doing reviews. On Tap is a really nice place with good food and USUALLY good service. HOWEVER today 8/27/23 my service here was terrible, the guy who brought out our food dumped my onion rings on the tray and picked them up with his Bare hand put them back on my plate and gave me my food that's gross dude.. Our server took our order brought us our drinks and we didn't see her again until we flagged her down to get a to go box and our check she took the card we were paying with and proceeded to ask around and take peoples orders with our card. don't think I will be coming back for a while“
