“This is absolutely the best place around to eat good down home cookin'. Everything is made from scratch, including the mouth watering pies. The wait staff is fantastic and very friendly to EVERYONE whether your a familiar face or a stranger. The owner is one of the kindest women I've ever met. She loves to cook for her customers and treats everyone of them like family.

And in response to the previous reviews claiming that this place is somehow racist I can't help but to laugh. That is truly an unfounded and ridiculous accusation. And I am truly saddened that the bitterness in these people's hearts kept them from being able to enjoy one of the best meals they would of ever had. I think they need a piece of strawberry pie to add some sweetness to their lives.“

“Use to go to the place on 571 pretty regular. Been looking for a good time to try the new place in Troy. Today was a perfect day for a walk in Troy and a quick stop at the new place. The place is gorgeous inside the food great and the people working were friendly, fun, and polite!! Stop in for a burger, beer, and gret atmosphere they won't disappoint. Of course if you leave without getting the mac & cheese balls there is something wrong with you and I don't know if you can be helped“
