“Transcendent meal. Chef Liu Fang has taken the authentic flavors and ideas of China and brought them to life in a new way. After living in China for nearly a decade, I generally don’t expect US Chinese cuisine to capture real Chinese flavors. Abundance Culinary was just incredible. The Honey Ma wings are tough to top, and I’ve never had Chinese peppercorns to fresh and fragrant. That numbing sensation is pure happiness. Gong Bao Brussel Sprouts are crack. The Ginseng Chicken is hearty and warming. Wagyu Xiao Chao Beef and Lazi Chicken are both crowd favorites for good reason. Turns out my 11yo daughter likes Lamb Shank. Who knew? The space is so warm and inviting, there can’t be too many 1940s train car diners living as top shelf Chinese Restaurants. Abundance Culinary is truly in a class of its own.“

“The food here is good. I'm not sure why the negative reviews. I have ordered delivery from here more than once. Each time the food is so fresh, tasty, packaged with care, and with no items missing. The lemon chicken is my personal favorite. I love that they serve it with a nice size lemon wedge for extra flavor. So delicious.“

“I have been eating at this establishment for damn near 20 years! Never once have I had bad food or gotten sick from their cooking. They lady at the register can come off as rude sometimes however, I've always chalked it up to her culture. She will speak and say hi as well as goodbye but she's never been one for small talk and that's ok... I go there to eat not to make a new friend. One thing I can attest too is that she never gets your order wrong... no matter how many orders she juggling at one time!“

“Servers were very unprofessional. Our server even asked if we wanted dessert, we said no and she said she was hoping we said yes so she could sit with us as she set down. “As far as dine-in Chinese restaurants go this place is the Pinnacle on the west side. There used to be a really great place in Lakewood which I can't remember their name and then there's Imperial Wok in Solon, but not since Oriental Terrace back in the day have I had this high quality of Chinese at such a bargain basement price. “Well there prices have gone WAY up but on top of that on the weekends they want to charge you an additional 18% they say there open until 9pm I was there at 810 pm the doors were locked what a bunch of lies I dove 43 miles for that but rest assured going back will be hard because I went to Boo Long up the street what a pleasant surprise they also close at 9pm but welcomed me in at 835 been going to Me Wah and king Wah for YEARS but am now rethinking it“

“I LOVE a good little hole in the wall that serves up great food without crazy price tags! I got the spicy beef noodle soup which was huge and delicious and the scallion pancakes which were a little greasy but super crispy and tasty. “We went to Wens with our extended family from Changsha, China. We were headed to the Asian Lantern Festival. Our daughter-in-laws parents are visiting the US and they LOVED this meal. If you want authentic Chinese, go here. It's a smaller venue, so don't be surprised if there's a wait, or you can call ahead for reservations.“

“New to the area so we decided to give this place a try. The shopkeeper was generous enough and the food was great. Crab ragoons are crispy and flavorful. Sweet and sour chicken and fried rice were both decent. The General Tso though was awesome - the sauce was just the right amount of heat and tang. Hotter than most other places I've been to but it's delicious. They even have peppers and green onion in the sauce which is a nice touch, and the chicken was super crispy even though it was sauced. Definitely coming back to try more of their food.“

Vegetarian options: Anything on the menu can be vegetarian except dumplings, crab ragoon and stuff like that but you can get veggie fried rice, veggie lo mein, veggie egg foo young veggie egg rolls and they even have general TSO’s tofu which is really good!“

“The Governors chicken with fried rice is absolutely amazing! I recommend trying it for yourself. I tried to call in an order and no one ever answered the phone. Rode past but didn't feel like waiting so I didn't stop. Wasn't very busy so not sure why phone wasn't being answered. Nonetheless, I will be back for that yummy chicken and a spring roll.“

“I have lived in this area for quite some time and was not aware of this Chinese Restaurant; however, I am glad that I now know of them. I bought two Shrimp Egg Rolls, thinking they would be like the place I used to go to on Libby and Warrensville. To my surprise, I could only eat one and the shrimp were so large and delicious. The sweet and sour chicken is good. This has now become my favorite Chinese restaurant.“

“Mostly delivery and take out but there are a couple tables so you can eat in the restaurant. Food is of reasonably good quality and well prepared. But, not the best Chinese food available but less expensive than the restaurants in the Asian neighborhood of Cleveland.

I have been eating here for decades and have consumed hundreds of meals at this restaurant. Overall I do recommend this restaurant for a quick, good value, made to order meal.“

“My new favorite Chinese food restaurant. I decided to try this place for the first time the other week. I have since been back a couple time - both delivery and pickup orders. Each time my food has been hot, fresh, generously portioned, and packaged well. The restaurant itself if quiet and clean. The gentleman who handed me my food was welcoming and kind. “Never knew this place existed but clearly I was in the minority. Was quite busy with people ordering and picking up. Basic Chinese takeout place but the food was very good. Nice variety on the menu with some items you don't usually see. Staff was friendly, prices were competitive. Portions were about what you'd expect. The only real down is the parking. It's a very slim 1-way, 1 lane lot in front of the store front. There does look to be a small open lot to the left of the strip of stores that could be used. When I visited there were mounds of snow and uneven snow in the lot. Very treacherous for someone who isn't sure of foot. Will definitely be visiting again... When the weather is better!“

“One of the few places that I will go for Chinese food. Its a little cold inside but the staff at the counter are always welcoming. The food? Some of the better flavors around. I recommend the chicken and mixed vegetables, the egg drop soup and always go for the donuts fresh.“

“Had dinner here on their patio tonight before a show at HOB. The pho and Vietnamese coffee were delicious. The beer is fairly priced. And the fried bananas with Lychee iceh cream were perfect. “A hidden gem just around the corner from Cleveland's Asia Town neighborhood! Good prices for the large portions of excellent, fresh food. “Definitely the best Chinese food I have ever had. I love the sesame chicken and the beef with pea pods. I don't like steamed rice so for a couple of dollars more I got fried rice and an egg roll with my beef and pea pods. The portions are plentiful and the food is delicious.“

“We used to go to Dragon Garden as it was close and really good. Since they closed, we were looking for legit standard Chinese takeout and think we've found it. The Pork Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice were fantastic. They were not stingy at all with the pork or shrimp. The Pork was not fatty either. The Lo Mein noodles were a little overdone, but they loaded it with chicken, so good there too. The Wonton Soup was also great, huge dumplings and had great flavor. The Orange Chicken was also great, and you could actually taste the orange. Egg Rolls were pretty good, same as the Crab Rangoon. Service was great; they were really fast and really kind.

Overall, if you liked Dragon Garden in Northfield Center and are looking for replacement Chinese takeout, please consider this place. We will definitely be going back and they have earned 5/5.“

“This cute little restaurant in Asia Town offers malatang hot pots. The menu is a little confusing at first if you’re new to the dish, but our waiter was incredibly patient and explained everything. I ordered the seafood dry pot and it was amazing. Delicious chunks of fish/fish balls and squid with fresh bok choy, and a choice of noodles (I got the sweet potato noodles), with a slightly spicy and peanuty sauce. I will definitely be back to try some of the other options like tripe or tofu. Great service too and huge portions. Highly recommend!“

“The food was great and as a huge plus they are willing to accommodate to my wife's celiac needs,(and they actually knew what it was!!) they made her dish with only corn starch to make it gluten free. This is now our only chinese food take out place, we will be back and spread the word about it.“
