“Food was consistent with past experiences - some of the best sushi in Cleveland. We had Edamame and miso soup to start, 6 pieces of nigiri (must get seared salmon belly), and shared 3 cut rolls. Sake selection is quite good - opted for a mid tier 300ml bottle which was bright and exciting. Ambiance is good at the sushi bar - recommend sitting there if dining alone or with one other. Bathrooms could be improved (granted this is not revenue generating for the restaurant, but it felt like and afterthought compared to the rest of Ginko.)“

“Very good Teriyaki. Made hot and fresh every single time. The meat is so flavorful after being nice and seared on the flat top griddle. The chefs are also very good at what they do to prepare the food on the flat top. You can get extra meat, extra veggies, extra noodles, white rice, fried rice, etc. I love getting extra mushrooms. Of course all the extras include a reasonable upcharge. The chicken and shrimp teriyaki over soba noodles with extra mushrooms and one spoodle full of teriyaki sauce. It's absolutely delicious ????“

“It was such a treat to find this place in Cleveland after going to the Cleveland Clinic. We visited Japan from the end of March to beginning of April and it’s hard to find very authentic places. This is the most authentic that we’ve found in Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Wow! Loved it! The person behind the counter was very nice too. My mom and I both had the Shrimp tempura ramen bowl with a few minor modifications. They were absolutely delicious. Super authentic! We had all different kinds of ramen all over Japan and this is definitely on par with what we had there. Such a wonderful surprise! Love the walls being painted to look like a city in Japan! So cute! We’ll definitely be back to try the pork buns, gyoza and onigiri. If you love Japanese food, do yourself a favor and try it. You won’t be sorry.“
