Used to LOVE Mr. Hero...the last 5 yrs or so...when I decide I can't live without it...I have been repeatedly disappointed...HOWEVER, the Me. Hero in Brookfield plaza...is DELICIOUS and I have been there once a week for a couple months now...every time..the food was perfect.
Over priced for what you receive. The regular sized cheese steak was just gyro meat not even chopped 3 or 4 slices fried then fold over and served on what I would call a glorified yet stall hot dog roll. I also order a large sub the meat tasted like the cheap prepackaged meat you get from a discount supermarket there was hardly any cheese and it was served on the same roll as my regular steak but in stead they made two and even wrapped them individually. This is the CLEANEST Mr. Hero I've ever seen! I called ahead to confirm closing time and they informed me when I should arrive to ensure that I wouldn't cut it too close. Located in a shopping plaza, the restaurant was easy to find. The place was so clean! I always visit a Mr. Hero when I'm in town and I was not disappointed!
