“Very personalized service in an old fashioned diner with fantastic food and generous portions. My has had steak and eggs. The steak was cooked perfectly to temperature, the home fries were hot and crispy but tender in the center, and the eggs were exactly over easy (not often achieved). The pancake I had was one of the best pancakes Ive ever had and again, my sunny-side-up egg was perfect. Im already looking forward to our next visit.“

Service was very good, along with complimentary items they were very kind. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant was empty when we first arrived but filled up quick on a weeknight. It was lively and friendly with a variety of people from different backgrounds enjoying the food. Overall, I highly recommend coming here.“

“Lavash has been one of my favorite places to eat in Columbus for many years, but today they went above and beyond for me. I made a large order for the parents of a newborn so we could freeze tasty meals for them. The staff read and acted on my order notes about helping to label each meal, and they offered alternative options for items that wouldn’t freeze well when I came to pick up. “We traveled on I-70 and took a short detour to check out this German restaurant. The food was fabulous! We ordered the pretzels and beer cheese, Milder Mama sausage platter, Fat Daddy sandwich, and the kid’s hotdog. The atmosphere felt authentic and service was good. We reserved a table ahead using yelp. I recommend that if you go on a Saturday or at a busy time of year.“

“We are from Kentucky and were in Columbus for a concert. I’ve always wanted to try a place that has been featured on Triple D, and this was the best decision ever! High Bank exceeded all expectations! We left with a full belly and A bottle of whiskey to remember them by. Food was incredible. Service was incredible. “What would it take to get this in California? I think I referred at least ten new diners here during the week we spent in Columbus, and they all loved it too! Hearty, healthy meals at an accessible price point, delicious as all get out, and almost entirely gluten free! Many of the diners I referred are gluten-free and they all enjoyed their options here. I dined here twice and got the sandwich and the salad, and both were absolutely incredible. The brisket? Melt in your mouth. We even shared lots of our meal with our nine month old baby (baby led weaning), and he also approved wholeheartedly! The service was friendly and professional, and the space was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The local friend who recommended it to me told me not to miss the tahini chocolate chip cookie, and she was SO right. Moral of the story is, I need this in the SF Bay Area, stat!“

I’ve been to Vegan restaurants all around the U.S. and Europe, and this is one of the absolute best right in Columbus! Chef Chad is just a cool dude. My wife and I got to meet him at VegFest and he couldn’t have been any nicer. We watched his show Top Vegan and because of all of this, we decided to make a trip from Cleveland to Columbus. We are so happy we did and this place lives up to the hype. The Vrunchwrap was delicious and it’s so good we are going to figure out how to recreate it at home. “There’s a reason the Press Grill has been around forever - good, reasonably priced food on a menu that has barely changed in decades. That’s a good thing - the sandwiches, Mac and cheese, cottage fries, etc. need no improvement. There are daily specials if you’re looking for something different, but most regulars have their thing. Accessibility is an issue at this original location - it’s an old building, so the door is narrow and the tables close together and all high top except a single low top in the back. The Grandview location is easier for large groups or those with mobility challenges, but if those are not barriers for you, you can’t go wrong with the original.“

“Great vibes all around. This place is really cool. Three floors with a food court on the first floor that has so many options for great food. Second floor is a really nice bar/ lounge area with a few games available. The roof was beautiful and had plants and hang lights everywhere. 10/10 recommend this place.“
