Yellow Dog sits right on mosquito Lake and has the most beautiful sunsets during the summer. The best thing about this restaurant is the service - Celeste has waited on us twice in the two times we’ve come to Cortland lately, and does the job right - not too much attention, not too little. “I have eaten breakfast here several times and never been disappointed with the food or the service. It has a neighborhood atmosphere that is both friendly and very welcoming. The cook is excellent! The sausage gravy and biscuits along with the grilled home fries are the very best you will find anywhere! You can get practically any omelet made to order. “I'm currently sitting here eating, the food is fantastic! I got chicken tenders because I'm a toddler, but they're so 🔥. The food was as fresh as could be, I literally had to wait a minute to start eating. The tenders were fantastic! I'm not sure what the breading is seasoned with, but I can tell you it's good! The fries are nice and crispy and also nicely seasoned. The hush puppies are the best I've had in a long time, and the Sam's Sauce is also delicious! I would recommend it twice if I could!“

“I ordered food for the first time from here tonight. Very pleasant people on the phone, had it delivered, very nice delivery driver also. GREAT tasting food and fed 4 people without breaking the bank. I highly recommend trying if you haven't yet. A++“

“Was seated promptly when entering. When seated, was asked what we would like to drink. Drinks were brought quickly and given sometime to peruse the menu and specials.
I ordered the stuffed chicken breast with mashed potatoes, green beans, and mashed potatoes. I also got a salad that was included with the meal with French dressing which is made in house. The salad was brought out along with bread and butter. My meal was brought out after nice and hot. It was delicious and filling.
They also have a nice selection of deserts.
They can be busy at times, especially on Sunday's, but it with the wait. Their staff is awesome and very attentive to their customers.
They are one of the best resteraunts in the area for taste, portion, cost, and service. They check all boxes.

“Dined on a Saturday at 4PM, birthday celebration, first experience. Hailey our server excellent. Patient, knowledgeable, accommodating, attentive, courteous, personable..can't say enough. ( I noticed two other servers who lacked Hailey's expertise). Happy hour menu was a great option..variety, portions, value and being available each day is an added bonus. Our selections were served hot and as ordered. Delicious. Alcoholic beverages clever and tasty. The only negative takeaway was the rowdy wedding party celebrating in the adjoining room to ours. Ruined the ambiance completely(which i realize is not the fault of the facility). Would strongly recommend a separate area for such gatherings. Thank you for a delightful experience.“

“We had top notch service from the second we walked in the door until we left. It was a very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Food was by far the best BBQ we have ever had. The ribs fell off the bone, the best cheesy potatoes and Mac and cheese I have ever had and the hush puppies were delicious!! I would highly recommend if you have not yet been there!! “The waitress was great! The food was just not good. I had the smallest club sandwich I've ever seen, made with dark meat turkey. My husband had a burger which was a frozen patty. I don't know where all the positive reviews came from. The prices are not fair compared to the food value either. The club sandwich was $9.95.“

I got cesser salad and loaded baked potato , kid got chili and side of steamed broccoli , hubby got burger/fries , all of it was amazing. I will say the chili a bit bland , kid also mentioned maybe add a little hot sauce 😆
The only thing , it's definitely not exactly set up for kids as there is not a kids menu for drawing or anything at least not that we got. Which not a problem we kind of figured that would be the case.“

I came during the day on a weekend, and it was a friendly beer pub where locals sat in groups of two or three at the bar and watched the rugby game.
There are various activities such as pocket balls, darts, basketball, lottery machines, punch machines, etc.
Even if you are Korean, you can enjoy it without any problem.“
