We moved to Cleveland in August and my husband and I don’t go out to eat a lot—but this is our third time back to Heck’s and our second time being served by Chey. (She even remembered us from months ago!) We brought my mom to try Heck’s and she ALSO commented multiple times on how great of a server Chey is— she’s quick, funny, confident, and truly kind. “I came here to order take out the other day and had the new grilled cheese with a cookie and cream milkshake. The server was great but it took a while for my food and drink to come out even though I was one of the two people there at the time. It was fresh, I’ll give them that but for the price I kinda expected two sandwiches but only got one small sandwich with a cup of tomato soup. It was good but I then went out and bought ingredients for grilled cheese for home and it was way cheaper for a full loaf, the cans, and cheese. So I wouldn’t recommend ordering that meal. “I have been here soooooo many times and the food is always dependably well prepared, hot, fresh and delicious! I've legit been a patron since they were in infancy and on Green Road. Today was no different as far as the food quality but while the customer service is always good, today it was remarkable. I do not prefer fries; judge someone else but I like a burger with a salad or some veggie if it's an option. Anyway, I had no idea sautéed veggies were an option here but much to my surprise the kind lady who took my order educated me and I could not be more pleased. The veggies were delicious (sautéed cabbage, kale, onions,mushrooms and assorted bell peppers). We had the chicken tandoori kabobs which felt like a flatbread/taco, this dish was especially flavorful very well seasoned. The next dish we had was the Indian cheese sticks, I believe this was paneer cheese, seasoned and very well season. The last dish and maybe my favorite were the Chorizo Nachos! Now, for the food, the mussels were sprinkled with a lot of salt on the shells and the broth was TOO SALTY. “Oh my gosh! We were visiting Columbus from Tennessee and my sister looked this place up for us to go. We didn't know what to expect and there was this cute kid with curly black hair that looked like Timothy Chalamet, out there directing us in.He went over the menu and gave us recommendations on what to order. He was running everywhere and going 90 to nothing getting all the orders and still being awesome with us. I wish I could remember his name.The food was absolutely amazing. There has been a change in servers and it shows because now you have to chase certain ones down for a refill or utensil. That being said, I never answered the phone with an unpleasant tone because it makes the customers feel like all they are doing is bothering you. Tried to talk to the woman and she got VERY defensive instead of apologetic. We had to throw away our fries :( because they were soggy. Moral of the story: If a woman answers aggressively just hang up and order somewhere else.“

Honestly, at the counter I felt like I had been coming for years, they were so nice. I'd come back anytime - and I think there are a few who do so every day. “Your typical small town dive bar vibes -- a bar with stools and some tables and chair options. They also offer a patio area in the warmer months. My family and I have been coming here for years to celebrate birthdays, graduations, etc. and we've had Lino's cater several of our events. They have the best wings!! They're always fresh and extra crispy, and I love their hot garlic Parmesan and hot BBQ flavors. I also love their mini corn dogs -- the honey mustard dipping sauce is delicious. The bartenders are usually pretty friendly and quick to get your order. They do get busy during game days so plan accordingly. We've never had to wait long when placing carry out orders and have never had an issue finding a table when needed.“

The manager was amazing: great service, really kind, and clearly loves the place.We each had an Ace pineapple cider, which was maybe one of the best ciders I've ever had (and I love hard ciders). On tap, perfect blend of sweet and dry, and the pineapple flavor isn't overpowering. I liked it so much I had a second.For food, we got six Buffalo wings, a basket of onion rings, and the Academy burger and fries. The wings were literally everything I want from a chicken wing: fresh, hot, tossed but not soaked in sauce. Some people might prefer a crisper wing - as far as I could tell, these weren't battered or floured (although I could be wrong) but for me they were perfect. The onion rings were fresh out of the fryer and not too greasy, so that's an immediate win. We didn't end up eating much of the burger, but that's through no fault of the burger! The portion of it I did have was well cooked, juicy, and thick. Great quality burger, I just wish I was hungry enough for it! And, of course, my fiancé's star of the show: the fries. Fries were the perfect thickness, not too thick and not too tiny, freshly cooked, and the seasoning on them was top notch. I think my partner ate more of the fries than any other part of the meal.All this and our meal and drinks came out to about $47! They're both super friendly and actually took the time to get to know me a bit and they remember my and ask me about the pieces of my week I've told them about when I come in. If you go during the evening, you'll see familiar friendly faces there watching the game enjoying some wings and drinks! The servers are always good for a laugh and it's a very nice atmosphere.
