“as a cuban i had such an amazing experience here!! the chef and waitress were so kind and came out to chat a few times, i felt right at home. :)) the restaurant plays classic cuban music and the vibe is so authentically cuban, it made my heart so full to see a restaurant of my culture!! the food was delicious and authentic, tastes just like my mom's cooking. i recommend the yuca en mojo and congri, the pollo asado was honestly delicious and my boyfriend got a pan con lechon that filled him up after only eating half!! great prices, great service, great people! patria y vida”

“Our first visit to Wolfe's and we were quite impressed. Seated at a window table in the bar, very comfortable. Greeted by Eileen who was super nice. Went over the menu with us, took our drink order. Ordered a pepperoni & sausage calzone to start. DELICIOUS!!! Dave had a steak salad and I had grilled cheese sandwich with chips. We finished the afternoon off by ordering 2 specialty pizzas to go. I can't stress enough the excellent service Eileen gave us. We will definitely be back and ask for a table with Eileen. Thank you, Eileen! Carol and Dave”

“Yummy! Me and my hubby stopped in after our appointments today. Had a delicious breakfast. I got corned beef hash, sunny side up egg and he got chopped steak and eggs and we split some pancakes 🥞. Everything was cooked to perfection, flavorful and great price. Waitress was a sweetheart too! This is the type of place we both grew up eating at with our grandparents. Hope to bring our kids with us in the future one day. Happy customers!”

“There was 7 of us total including 2 kids that came in for dinner. It was busy and we only waited about 5 minutes for a table. The waitress was wonderful and attentive, food was good. My daughter ordered the pancakes and I am not a big pancake person but they tasted so good! We love blue sky and will be back for sure!”

“Tonight was a very busy night when I stopped in to pick up pizza for my family. Despite how hectic it was, the general manager was personally helping customers and handling everything with patience and professionalism. It almost seemed like some customers were ordering for the first time, but she remained extremely friendly and took the time to assist everyone.
The food was amazing as always. We ordered the mac & cheese pizza along with cheesy bread, and everything was fresh and delicious.
We’ll definitely continue coming back. We also really appreciate receiving the coupons in the mail—it’s a great bonus for loyal customers!”

“On Sunday, May 10, my sister and I decided to go to Olive Garden in Elyria after Sunday service. We've always enjoyed going there. However, this was not a good day. We got there about 3:45 p.m., before rush hour. It was not crowded, we were seated immediately, we put in our orders and then we waited an hour and a half before leaving without eating because our food was never ordered by our waitress. At first she kept telling us it was due to a backlog because of the holiday, Mother's Day, so we were fine and we understood. But, then we realize it was just lies. We asked her to check on our orders multiple times and each time she said they're working on it, even offered us free desserts, a free meal to take home, etc., because we waited so long, but even that didn't come. We found out later that she never put our order into the kitchen. We sat for an hour and a half waiting and listening to her excuses when basically, she was just lying the whole time. There's no way she could have been checking on our orders because the cook would have known he/she didn't have an order for our table and that should have prompted her, I assume, that she forgot to give it to the kitchen, and would have done it at that time. We understood at first when she was saying it was a backup due to it being Mother's Day, but that wasn't the reason, so then we were not happy, because not only were we waiting an hour and a half, we watched people who came after us, even groups of people be seated, get their food and drinks, finished it, and get up to leave and we're still sitting there waiting for our food to come.

So, I found a manager, told her what the problem was and let her know we were ready to leave and we offered to pay for only our drinks. She told us the drinks were on her, so we left and went home.

Normally, I would give this restaurant a 5 star, because the food is good and I'm not saying not to go there. I'm sure this doesn't happen often, this was the first time it happened to us and I've been there several times. So, I'm not writing this review to say don't go to Olive Garden in Elyria, I'm just expressing a concern that maybe they need more workers on a holiday.

I hate writing negative comments because we all make mistakes, and I do not wish anybody to lose their job. But, it wasn't the mistake that upset us, it was the lie. She should have just been honest from the beginning.

Update: Received an email from their administrative offices and then the next day I received a $50 gift certificate to return, which we did, but at a different location. We were shopping in another nearby city and we used the gift certificate during our visit at that location. The food and service was excellent.

“This is my go-to spot in Elyria for Chinese food! They fulfill orders super quickly and their portion sizes are always on point. They have an extensive menu, but we personally love the orange chicken, general tso's chicken, fries, white rice, fried rice, egg rolls, and fortune cookies. There's plenty of other great things to choose from!”

The yummy grilled onions and that sauce they put on it. Yum! The staff was cheerful and kind and they didn’t forget my ketchup. Ha ha I know fast food isn’t the greatest work but it’s so nice to be greeted by smiling faces in the beginning, middle, or end of a crazy day. I saw first hand that there were plenty of employees. The person at the register took my order and then I waited while the person filling the fry orders was not approached to get my order until after I waited almost 5 min. I prompted the register person to get the fries because I was going to be late. I understand that there is a priority to get the drive thru people served, but the people inside shouldn't be neglected. There was a lot of standing around and whispering without any urgency for quick service inside the store.”
