“Blue sky has always been a great place. My husband and I would come here with our grandpas as teens. Now we come and soon we will bring our son when he is born. Needless to say we’ve tried A LOT from their menu. Prices still rival any place especially with the portion you get. Always great food, good service and even if there was an off day blue sky’s management has always made it right however in my experience we haven’t really had an issue. Today we stopped in for breakfast after our dr app. I got a corned beef hash omelette, hubby got the western skillet and we shared some biscuits and gravy. Waitress was great. Food was hot and delicious as usual. Very happy. We’ve tried a lot of diners in the surrounding areas and blue sky (we decided today) is our favorite local diner. Never disappoints us!”

“Yummy! Me and my hubby stopped in after our appointments today. Had a delicious breakfast. I got corned beef hash, sunny side up egg and he got chopped steak and eggs and we split some pancakes 🥞. Everything was cooked to perfection, flavorful and great price. Waitress was a sweetheart too! This is the type of place we both grew up eating at with our grandparents. “The BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had!! The 1st time I ordered here, I ended up with someone else's order but every single other time, it’s been no issues and the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had!! It’s cooked perfectly and has a lot of veggies mixed in for the perfect veggie to meat balance. The staffs very friendly and the orders are made fast. Love this place!! They’re def my go to place even if it’s a bit out of the way for me out of North Ridgeville. I also Door Dash and have never had an issue with any of there orders which is rare. :)”

“Service is fast. Food is always hot, but its not always consistent in taste. I generally order EFY, it’s usually under seasoned and the veggies are generally too big. The cabbage is sometimes in huge pieces(like it’s probably 1.5”x1.5”) Sometimes the chicken fried rice has oversized pieces of unseasoned chicken. Idk but taking a few extra minutes to just chop your food so its more appealing would help. The gravy is always good.”

“We've had donuts for our parishioners from various stores in the area on Sundays for years and none can compare to Expresso. Donuts are freshly made every day, delicious & of a generous size and the owners and staff are excellent to work with. So glad they are in Elyria!”

“I heard yesterday that Uncle Al’s was under new management, so I decided I would try it again to see if it was different. One good thing I should note is that this Uncle Al’s offers it’s own delivery service, along with door dash, where as the old Uncle Al’s forced customers to use door dash ONLY if they desired delivery. I got a family sized pizza with banana peppers and pepperoni, a large cheesy bread, and an order of boneless buffalo wings. Everything was good with no complaints. The price was reasonable and the size of the pizzas was quite large. If you like your pizza to be cheesy, you will certainly not be disappointed. The default amount of cheese here is equal to what you might get if you ordered extra cheese at some other pizza parlors. Lastly, they seemed to be a little busy when I picked my order up, but the order was ready in about 20 minutes from when I called. It was nice that I didn’t have to wait very long.”

“Hello, my name is Mariah Moore and I have a 12-year-old son and his name is Deshawn we go to Rita’s probably every other day and know all of the staff there. Unfortunately, recently, my son was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer and we have been admitted into rainbows, baby and children’s in Cleveland for the next five weeks they started chemo therapy early on him, so it made his appetite, not so great but he loves Rita’s and my brother drove 40 minutes to our hometown Elyria to get him a gallon of Rita’s and bring it out to the hospital to him and we had a Rita’s party so thank you for providing amazing Italian ices because it really made my sons day.”

“A nice neighborhood bar in the old sense of the word. They are not very pretentious ,it is a beer and a shot kind of joint but they have a great cook and you can get some good bar food there. They also have a nearly full compliment of every lottery machine that the state of Ohio permits to be used. Pool table, and darts, also they have several games in the back room. There's also a patio area where you can dine al fresco when the weather is right. I like this place for the unpretentious presentation and you can tell that there is a core of regulars that frequent the place but nobody will make you feel like you're out of place.”

I wish that I would have caught her name after all these visits, but there is a sweet blonde gal that works the drive thru window pretty often, who is ALWAYS so kind to us! This morning though, she really went above and beyond and I would love for her wonderful customer service to be recognized! My son is 5 years old and has Autism. Aside from having several food allergies that make eating difficult; he is a picky eater, struggles with various textures, and like many individuals with Autism….he struggles to trying new things. A few months ago, he discovered he likes the glazed munchkins (he calls them “squishy circles” 😂). It became the best part of his morning, stopping for his squishy circles (and mama’s much needed coffee!) Until about 2 weeks ago, when we got an order of munchkins that the glaze was still quite fresh…making them sticky. He reached his hand in the bag to grab one and was absolutely horrified by the sticky texture on his hands. Ever since, he cries “no sticky squishes” 😭😂 So this morning, I tried ordering him an “old fashioned” donut on the app….hoping that the plainness of the donut would cure his fear of the stickies. When we got to the window, the sweet blonde gal told us they didn’t have old fashioned and offered us glazed instead. So I awkwardly explained our dilemma….which she kindly and patiently listened to without any judgement. I embarrassingly asked if there was any way she could pick….the least sticky….of the glazed munchkins for him….to which she said no problem! The pure shock….followed by absolute JOY on my son’s face when he looked into the bag and saw the original “squishy circles” that he fell in love with…truly made my morning. To her, it seemed like no big deal. She provided us quick and kind customer service and probably went about her morning thinking nothing of it. But for us (special needs families)…these small moments of kindness are BIG. So if anyone sees this and knows that sweet blonde gals name, please extend my heartfelt thank you to her for making my son’s day! 💕 (Friday, June 7th, 2024 around 9:15am, drive thru of the N.
