“The food is always excellent and made fresh to satisfy every taste. We ordered takeout and received generous portions, all freshly prepared and packed with flavor. Everything was neatly organized and ready when we arrived, making pickup quick and easy.
The team works incredibly hard and truly listens to their customers' needs. It's clear they take pride in both their cooking and customer service. I personally love the Hunan and Szechuan dishes because I enjoy bold, spicy flavors. The Szechuan Chicken and Vegetable Lo Mein are among my favorites. My family, on the other hand, loves the Sweet and Sour Chicken, which shows they have something delicious for everyone.
The Lo Mein is outstanding, and the cooking techniques and recipes taste authentic and expertly prepared. The chefs are clearly very experienced, and the quality is consistently excellent. Great food, great service, generous portions, and fresh ingredients every time. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic meal!“

“Szechwan Garden is truly one of Lakewood’s treasures. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and there’s a reason I keep coming back: the food is consistently wonderful, the Zen options are incredibly unique and delicious, and you can tell there is real love and care behind what comes out of this kitchen. When I recently thought they might be closing, I was genuinely heartbroken. There are plenty of places to get Chinese food, but Szechwan Garden is my place — the kind of restaurant you count on, crave, and would miss terribly if it were gone. So hearing that they’re staying open made me ridiculously happy! I’m incredibly grateful to this family — and especially to Dad, who has been at it for decades — for continuing to cook for all of us a little longer. Of course, everyone deserves to retire someday, and when that day comes, I’ll be happy for him. But I’m not living in the future. Right now, I’m just grateful that Szechwan Garden is still here, still cooking, and still making my belly very, very happy. Thank you for being such a special part of Lakewood. ❤️“

“The food is amazing, I would eat their bbq ribs everyday all day if I could. It is a family business I believe so you get familiar with the staff quickly, they are the sweetest people ever. The food takes only about 15 minutes to be prepared. It’s so much better than any other Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. The prices are reasonable and the portions are quite large. You can eat the leftovers the day after and they still taste amazing. Best place ever in my opinion, they deserve more customers, everyone there works so hard.“
