“The staff is very friendly and very patient. This was helpful for the children that were ordering. They were able to accommodate seating changes as well. The food was all very good, especially the shrimp with lobster sauce.

Vegetarian options: When looking at the menu they had a good selection of vegetarian options that weren't just sides. Ma la string beans and broccoli with garlic sauce are really good if you like a bit of spice.

Parking: There's usually open spots right in front of the diner. If there's an event you might have to park further down, but it's a short walk.

Kid-friendliness: The menu is broken up by protein making it easy for kids to narrow down what they would like to eat. The staff is very patient and will explain clearly what is in the dish making it easy for selective eaters to find something.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door is standard size allowing for most chairs to fit through and there is only a slight bump for the sill. The tables are going to be slightly low for some people, but if you have a tray or have okay reach it shouldn't be a huge issue. All tables and chairs are moveable and staff are willing and able to provide assistance if needed. For the folks with service dogs who would like to sit further from the dining traffic there's a table space towards the front corner of the diner that offers more privacy. There's plenty of room for a medium to large size dog to sit and lay comfortably without being disturbed.“

“I normally have my food delivered one to two times a month. I must say, I have never had such great service taking my order accurately and getting my order so fast. I normally get one egg roll, peppered steak and crab rangoons. My food has always been excellent! I want to thank Golden China for doing such an great job and being so friendly.“

“First time take away order from GAR. My family and I loved it! Excellent Pad Thai and Mala Green Beans. Also loved the mini spring rolls and the house hot mustard dipping sauce with it. Its way better than those little packets of hot mustard usually given. Quick service, affordable pricing, great menu variety and very clean looking establishment. “I have been coming here over the years so today it was nice to bring my kids somewhere that I have been coming to, every so often, since I was in my teens. I have no complaints.
And actually, my son dropped some sesame chicken on himself and on the ground and the lady immediately came over and helped clean him up and his clothes. I was focused on cleaning the floor and table but she didn’t even notice those, only the mess on my son. She showed much compassion in this moment in my eyes.

“I love this place! I have been eating here since my freshman year of high school and I’m now a senior and so upset I’m leaving for college cause I won’t be able to eat here so often. On a high school kids salary this place is extremely affordable, gives large portions and above all else is delicious. The family working here are extremely kind and generous people who clearly love what they do. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve had almost the entire menu. My favorite is the hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon. He never understood the bad reviews and they even made me scared to eat here but DO NOT TRUST THEM. “Their food is delicious!!! There are so many vegetables in their food. It is much less oily than other places. Because I don't order ahead, I wait at a table. I watch people come, get their order, and go for the entire time I wait. My favorite is chicken with vegetables ordered a spicy. The veggies included broccoli, snowpeas,carrots, baby corn, bamboo shoots, and fresh mushrooms. The broccoli was very crunchy, not overcooked.

This time, the takeout was in a styrofoam container that leaked in the bag, causing precious sauce to be lost. Previous orders were served in plastic containers with tight lids that didn't leak. I'm hoping this was an anomaly, not the new normal.

I order this dish a lot at various Chinese restaurants, but this one had like a breaded chicken and the sauce was not the yellow or brown gravy it tasted like a teriyaki sauce and it looked like teriyaki sauce. It was good but in no way tasted like wor su gai. I thought the egg rolls were good as well. The lady was very nice at the restaurant and thanked us numerous times for the business. And she threw in a egg drop soup and everybody's to go order and wrote free on the lid. I don't eat that soup. so it just want to waste on me, but it was very nice that she did that. I would maybe try it again, but get something different. They were a little slow, but not bad.“

This little hidden spot for most folks turned out to be some of the best Chinese food that I have eaten in my life and I have eaten Chinese food all over the world. Pepper steak was very tasty rice was cooked perfect green peppers were cooked perfectly as were the onions and every part of the pepper steak was proportioned evenly, some places will throw an abnormal amount of onions in the mix to try and save a buck.
