“The staff is very friendly and very patient. This was helpful for the children that were ordering. They were able to accommodate seating changes as well. The food was all very good, especially the shrimp with lobster sauce.

Vegetarian options: When looking at the menu they had a good selection of vegetarian options that weren't just sides. Ma la string beans and broccoli with garlic sauce are really good if you like a bit of spice.

Parking: There's usually open spots right in front of the diner. If there's an event you might have to park further down, but it's a short walk.

Kid-friendliness: The menu is broken up by protein making it easy for kids to narrow down what they would like to eat. The staff is very patient and will explain clearly what is in the dish making it easy for selective eaters to find something.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door is standard size allowing for most chairs to fit through and there is only a slight bump for the sill. The tables are going to be slightly low for some people, but if you have a tray or have okay reach it shouldn't be a huge issue. All tables and chairs are moveable and staff are willing and able to provide assistance if needed. For the folks with service dogs who would like to sit further from the dining traffic there's a table space towards the front corner of the diner that offers more privacy. There's plenty of room for a medium to large size dog to sit and lay comfortably without being disturbed.“

“I normally have my food delivered one to two times a month. I must say, I have never had such great service taking my order accurately and getting my order so fast. I normally get one egg roll, peppered steak and crab rangoons. My food has always been excellent! I want to thank Golden China for doing such an great job and being so friendly.“

“Our first time. The two of us shared the steamed shrimp and vegetables with garlic sauce. We shared a large seafood hot & sour soup. Both dishes we delicious . The shrimps were plentiful , nice sized , and tasty . The hot&sour soup was packed with mushrooms, shrimp, scallops, tofu, and artificial crab. It was the best we've ever had !

Portions. were generous. The price was fair for what was served. . Our server was very efficient and friendly.

For carry out I'd give it s 5. For eat-in its a 3.5 because its small and somewhat crowded with 3 small booths and two tables amongst several large aquariums and large house plants.. However, it was kind of quaint in a quirky way.“

I am very picky but knowing this I am also very thorough in ordering so the forgot to add the extra vegetable that I wanted but the quality and flavor of the food made up for it. “This American Chinese restaurant mainly served American Chinese cuisine. My server recommended the beef fried noodles which tasted authentic. The dining room was clean with a decent bar. There were some cheap alcohol selections during happy hour. WiFi was fast. Glad to see that many American people liked dining at this place.“

“This summer I spent a month in Taiwan and have been missing the food terribly. Lan Zhou reminded me so much of the small little noodle shops with incredible food I grew to love while abroad. Their beef noodle soup was lovely- the greens on top were perfect and the beef was tender. I prefer a slightly more springy noodle, and these were very soft and tender- not my favorite, but I can't complain.

“I grew up off this Chinese Food location. Watched the kids grow up and all lol. The food is absolutely delicious. It's a simple come and go order place. Anything you order will usually be done in 10 minutes, the egg rolls are great, and different menu items have never disappointed.“

Sesame chicken, kun pao chicken, orange chicken, I can eat it all day everyday!!! Their egg drop and hot sour soup are the best, but there is one thing that noone can beat. “I love this place! I have been eating here since my freshman year of high school and I’m now a senior and so upset I’m leaving for college cause I won’t be able to eat here so often. On a high school kids salary this place is extremely affordable, gives large portions and above all else is delicious. The family working here are extremely kind and generous people who clearly love what they do. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve had almost the entire menu. My favorite is the hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon. He never understood the bad reviews and they even made me scared to eat here but DO NOT TRUST THEM. They whipped me up an off-menu speciality on the spot. And it was terrific! We were surprised that the place had been closed for quite some time as it was our go-to place for Chinese takeout. It has been a staple for Marcus theatre area for many many years. It finally reopened under new ownership, but no sign.

The owner was there to greet us and show us the menu. Very nice guy and felt welcomed. We ordered the orange chicken, bokchoy dish, and chicken egg roll. Food was hot and the bokchoy was our favorite dish. Orange chicken wasn't the best but wasn't bad either (would get again). My only gripe is that the prices are similar to a sit-down full-service restaurant and not your typical take-out Chinese food prices. While I would love to come here again the price is way too high for us as we like to go get a quick meal before a movie, etc. I get it the prices need to be adjusted to match inflation/food costs but the price point before new ownership was so good.

All in all, I do want to try the other dishes as the food was good but it won't be on a regular basis as the prices are not competitive with traditional TOGO Chinese places.
