“So far I've had a banana cream pie and peach pie, as well as a chicken pot pie.
Both desert pies were excellent. Instead of the typical coin slices of bananas you typically see in a banana cream, this had long, thick slices of banana, ensuring plenty of just the right amount of ripeness. The cream was light, fluffy and flavorful.
The peach pie was loaded with ripe, but not mushy, peaches in a filling that was sweet, but not overwhelming. The crust was crisp and flakes with no hint of a soggy bottom.
The chicken pot pie had plenty of nice chunks of chicken and plenty of vegetables in a thick, but not pasty, gravy.
The only issue I had was that the bake time for the pot pie was insufficient for my oven. While the top crust was a little browned, the bottom and sides crust was just raw dough.
I did buy another pot pie and will try to adjust my baking time to see.if I can get it right.
Service was wonderful. Both times that I've been in, the employees were pleasant and friendly.
I will definitely be trying out their other pies in the future.“

“Not only are the cookies fantastic, the customer service is as well. I ordered cookies from the Worthington location to be delivered for a birthday. Due to a snag in the ordering system, the order was canceled. I sent an email and in return received a phone call from Katie, the store’s shift leader. She called not once but 3 times to make sure the order was corrected—- and credited! Staff even added a dozen extra cookies! In addition, another employee,Ashley, took it upon herself to make sure the cookies were delivered asap. I also received an email from the company’s customer care representative later in the day to apologize. Top notch customer service. Thank you.“

The service was friendly, but could have a bit more forwardness by welcoming you as you come in the door and asking if you have ever been there and offering assistance with how everything works, rather than the customer feeling confused and having to ask. The atmosphere is clean and seems well managed, it just needs to be a bit more polished. It is a bit pricey, however, in the correct demographics it will do well. If the flavors of the week were posted in the window with a large bold font, so it can be seen while driving by it would bring more traffic through their doors.“

“From the time you walk up this place is stunning! The flowers outside are stunning. The entry way is clean. Everyone greets you when you enter. Everything is well organized and clearly labeled. The prices are VERY reasonable for the quality of food you get. This is not Walmart lol this is incredibly well made pastries..

“We used Mrs. Goodman's for our wedding cake last month. We gave them the inspiration pics posted below along with 2 photos of our wedding cake (the photos with the topper on it). We wanted the white roses from the one cake but the greenery from the other. We didn't get to see the cake until cake cutting due to my parents picking up for us. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY!! They did so so well. It looked so amazing and tasted even better. They were also very affordable. Michele helped us go through the process and she was very friendly, professional, and helpful. I ordered several custon edible images a day prior and at the last minute, right before closing I ordered another. I had issues with the image in my phone but KK came to the rescue with her exceptional customer service. I usually have to go to several places and order online for orders because not one place has it all. “I used Cookies Bouquets to create 8 bouquets for a rehearsal dinner. Tylur was very easy to work with and hit every deadline that we needed hit.We gave specific instructions on what we wanted each cookie to look like in the bouquets and the mockup was ready as scheduled. The cookies were produced exactly as they were depicted in the mockups.The bouquets were ready for pickup on the day and time that I requested. Everything was already put together for us and everything was securely packaged for our 650 mile drive with the product. Everything bouquet made it to the tables intact. We were given some extra cookies just in case we needed to replace something that may have broke on the trip.To top everything off, the bouquets looked great and the cookies tasted great. I could not be more happy with our overall experience with Cookies Bouquets. I highly recommend them.“

“Jan did a cake for my mom's birthday a few years ago and my mom said it was the best cake she ever had. So, when my parents' 60th wedding celebration came up earlier this year, we went back to Jan! We chose her most popular flavor, the raspberry creme, and it was delicious. But, the look of the cake was so special. Sixty years ago, my mother had a small wedding and wore an embroidered suit/vest. Jan based the design of the cake on it and it was so special to my parents and a real work of art. Jan was easy to work with and had great ideas. She suggested a small two-tier cake, so my parents could take the smaller tier with them on a short trip and share their special cake with friends. She is a true professional who takes pride in her work, understands the importance of quality and ensures that every last detail is perfect and delicious. I am so thankful that my friend, who hired Sue for her wedding, recommended her business to us. For our wedding cake, it served 230 people (4 tiers) with Italian cream cake with strawberry filling, orange cake with chocolate ganache filling, and chocolate cake with raspberry filling covered in iced buttercream frosting...might I add, all made from SCRATCH. Overall, it was pretty decent and for the price you can order as many as you like. Edit: 2nd time we got the Veggie Meatballs and it was pretty good. As for no gravy. My wife and I were so excited to find La Campiña, and wow, we haven’t had Tres Leches this good in ages! A neighbor recommended it to us, and they were spot on! The owner is super friendly and welcoming, and the prices are really reasonable too. I honestly wish more people knew about this hidden gem. From now on, this is our go-to spot for birthday cakes and any special event. Oh, and the freshly baked bread? Absolutely amazing“
