“The service level was unparalleled. We were bombarded by staff. I have never experienced a level availability of service. I took two younger staff members out for after work beers. Between the two they had 6 Michelob Ultras. I had a CBC Bhodi, and Elvis Juice, and a Shiner Bock. My bill was only $35 before tip! This was during happy hour. We visited between 4:30pm-6:00pm. I will be back to try the food. I also couldn't help but notice the excessive amount of Weller Antique 107 on the shelf. I did not get a chance to find out the cost of a pour. Very friendly neighborhood vibe type place. Everyone seemed to know each other.“

“Great dive bar. Wings are pretty good and the food and drinks are pretty cheap. They do karaoke sometimes although I've never been. I was reluctant to go because of location, you're not sure if it's POC friendly but it isn't an issue. Good local spot.“

“I’ve never had a bad time at Eight and Sand. The food is beyond impressive and it is reasonably priced. You will not catch me missing the $1 wings every Tuesday and the veggie wrap is incredible. Don’t sleep on the weekly food specials they are always a tasty little surprise! Friendly outgoing staff all around, an awesome patio, and a chill vibe inside. It’s my very favorite bar, there isn’t another like it!“

“Love this place, but really? Kitchen closes at 9pm during Ohio State and Notre Dame Championship game that started at 730. It’s 9pm, the house is packed, not an empty seat, not even halftime and the kitchen is closed. And they call themselves the number one place to watch the Buckeyes…kitchen would be opened if I ran this place.“

“First time coming to this 2 in 1 place also Black Owned Ridiculous Eatz. Excellent service. Our waitress was Melissa G. She was very nice and pleasant. The wings was Excellent. We had Buffalo, BBQ, and Hot Garlic (that wasn’t mentioned on the menu, but our waitress told us about it ). Also had the cabbage and collard greens blend. Very good. Had some Cajun fries. They were delicious. Food came out hot. Will definitely be returning.“

“Double Eagle has one of the best bourbon selections in NW Columbus. They offer a limited, but good, food menu, signature cocktails, and good draft selection. It's a large space that offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor seating having a gas fire pit available. The staff was friendly and attentive.“

“We were in town for a Buckeyes game. Our AirBnb was about two blocks away so this was so convenient. We loved everything about it. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in, we knew we’d love it. “Food is quite limited, if you’re going, you’re going for the drinks.
I have no idea what it’s like between Thurs-Saturday; however, most of the week it’s pretty slow paced, but they do have the option to play the jukebox through your phone.
Bartenders are great, people are great, atmosphere is chill.“

“Had such a fun time with the hubby here! Fun atmosphere, the girls were so pretty and had some amazing tricks! I loved Lexi, she was sooo gorgeous & nice! I loved the dancer who asked if it was okay to touch my hubby, even tho of course I didn't care. It was very considerate! Hubby paid 10 for his entry fee but mine was free so that was a nice surprise. Would give a 5 star if they had some more drink selections! “After a concert, we were walking up and down High St. looking for a little quieter, laid-back bar. We stopped in to the Homage Bar, and we loved it! Jen behind the bar was fantastic! We'll stop in for a drink anytime we're in Columbus.“

I could tell my chicken sandwhich was probably just a frozen Tyson chicken patty. The cheesesteak was over seasoned and not sure it was beef. Would definitely go back for drinks and cocktails, but would definitely pass on the food again.“

If you get a section, you can order bottles & food from the menu. My cons would be: Regular drinks will have to be ordered at the bar. Clearing drinks or food in our section wasn't available. I didn't mind clearing, but there wasn't a place to take our plates. There's a trash can by the exit for cups. If you do plan to get a section, make sure to have enough room for your party comfortably. If you dont have enough seating, there may be open seating at the bar for your overflow guest. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would go again.“

“Was there for bike week 2023. Had best time of my life that week and spent every nite at Spankys!! Food was good had no dis respect whatsoever! I had a time I won’t forget!! I actually partied pretty hard and got home safe every nite and actually moving there from Ky and will definitely visit again!! Bartenders was great! As well“
