A common mistake restaurants make with vegetarian/vegan dishes is not making it filling/hearty enough but I always come home with leftovers here! The artichoke hearts are another staple dish here that can not be missed.“

“Very personalized service in an old fashioned diner with fantastic food and generous portions. My has had steak and eggs. The steak was cooked perfectly to temperature, the home fries were hot and crispy but tender in the center, and the eggs were exactly over easy (not often achieved). The pancake I had was one of the best pancakes Ive ever had and again, my sunny-side-up egg was perfect. Im already looking forward to our next visit.“

“The lamb hummus is a must. So much flavor and hummus has a perfectly smooth texture. One of my favorite dishes was the lamb fahsah. It came out bubbling hot, lamb was so tender and delicious. The portions of all our entrees were very generous and could be shared easily. I was pleased with how clean the restaurant was and the service and kindness of the staff was some of the best we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return.“

We ordered the pretzels and beer cheese, Milder Mama sausage platter, Fat Daddy sandwich, and the kid’s hotdog. The atmosphere felt authentic and service was good. We reserved a table ahead using yelp. I recommend that if you go on a Saturday or at a busy time of year.“

What really sealed the deal was the incredible atmosphere: the employees were genuinely nice and clearly passionate about their work. Even a couple of regulars were out in the 90-degree heat, cheerfully welcoming me in, mirroring the staff's enthusiasm. This might be a 'hole-in-the-wall,' but it's the kind of hidden gem Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives should feature this place.“

“Best fast casual type of restaurant you'll find anywhere but at some point there needs to be a conversation about some of the staff at the short north location... almost every time I go I have an experience so odd it feels like I am getting pranked by a hidden camera. If someone were to tell me they're testing AI robots that work off a limited script I would understand, and also feel better about robots taking human facing jobs. Foods still fantastic and won't impact me from going at least once a week but the robo staff experience has happened too many times to not start the conversation about getting some humans back behind the counter slinging the best food in town.“

The language is definitely Portuguese here but they do speak English as well although I am Puerto Rican so my Spanish could fend for itself there. I came alone and was sitted within like 10 minutes and then I forgot to put a coat down and someone took my table. After I got out of the line the servers helped me find a new table and offered different sauces to try with my meal. Everything was great but my favorite was the picanha! My only tip when you go here is to be confident speak up, it’s a busy restaurant but everyone seems willing to help. Great first time experience.“

Multiple people greeted and spoke with us throughout the meal and made sure we were enjoying every moment, which we definitely were. I was a bit irritated cause I felt some couple had cut in front but the warm smile and friendliness of the front of house was spectacular. You can tell he enjoys what he does. “Another Cameron Mitchell restaurant that doesn’t disappoint! We had the absolute best experience at Cameron’s American Bistro thanks to our waitress, Jolee. From the moment we were seated, she was so welcoming and attentive. She gave excellent recommendations that truly elevated our meal, the short ribs were absolutely fantastic, the sourdough bread with roasted garlic was delicious, and the specialty cocktails were outstanding. She also went above and beyond to make sure our food allergies were carefully addressed.
