“Food is great but I dont think anyone appreciates when you close 2-2.5 hours before your posted closing time every night. If you close at 7pm or 6:30pm Sunday-Thursday but 9pm is posted on your door then update it on the door atleast and update the hours on Google to follow whats on your door. Friday and Saturday is supposed to be 10pm but they will close between 8-9pm. Just be more professional and let the customers know.“
“Hand stretched noodles, hand made dumplings, and delicious soup broth like back home. Look, this is not one of those fancy, white tablecloth restaurants. Lan Zhou is a tiny, no frills spot where you can get homemade comfort food at very reasonable prices!手工拉面,手工水饺,家乡的味道,好?If you are driving, you might score one of the on-street spots in front of the door. Otherwise, park in the giant Student Union garage right across High Street. It’s a couple of bucks but covered, safe, and well lit.“
“I have been coming here for 20 years (at one point my family could hum along to every Chinese instrumental song on the restaurant playlist) and it somehow tastes better and better every time. I absolutely love this place. Nothing's a miss on the menu, the bar pours a stiff drink, and Annie (the owner) is the kindest person. Super friendly waiters and I think, the one of best neighborhood, classic family restaurants in Columbus.“
“Very delicious! Chicken & mushrooms had lots of other veggies too. Fried rice had tasty additions as well. Soft instrumental Christian music playing, and they allow eat-in (another restaurant has no more of that). AND they are open on Mondays -- most other Chinese locations in PTown are closed Mondays. I will eat here again for sure!!“
“Excellent Chinese food. Good portions and prices. Always delicious and fresh! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Somehow they always seem to have my order ready when I show up even if it’s before the 10 minutes. I don’t know how they do it! Great little hidden gem for great strip mall Chinese!“
“We got takeout and it was very delicious. I had concerns since most everything take out upsets my stomach but I did not have any issues at all nor did the family. Food was tasty and fresh. ♡ hot and sour soup, praram long song, cashew chicken, and sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls. ♡ The phone system is older just keep calling back.“
“I stopped in here for lunch because I had never tried it. It was pretty busy! The ambiance was very lacking for dine in eating. However, the staff was friendly and my order was just as I had ordered.Generally, I order General Tso as a basis because I have had excellent and terrible experiences with this particular dish.Overall, the food was good but just shy of what I consider 5 star on flavor and presentation.I think I will return on a different day to test consistency and also take the opportunity to try something new.“
“⭐ Great food? Great prices⏩ Speedy service? Nice employeesThey listen when you ask for "Extra Spicy" ?️ ?Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian optionsParking: Free parking lot, handicap spots availableWheelchair accessibility: It is handicap accessible“
“Basic American Chinese takeout place where exchange happens through a window. There is no dine in!Food was alright, rice could be fresher and sauces were basic stuff, but I can't complain about the cost ($6.75 for lunch combos). Ample serving size. You can order ahead and pick up when you're passing by. The only real downside is that it's somewhat out of the way for a lot of folks who could use cheaper meals.Parking: Tons of free parking around the building.“
“Ordered food to go. Chicken & broccoli was really good. Husband had the house lo mein, said it was very good as well. We shared a crab rangoon appetizer. They were delicious. Freshness & crispness in each bite. Filling was creamy & smooth.Nice, polite young lady waited on us. Talked about setting up for a super bowl party coming in tonight.Inside is relaxing, clean & not overly decorated. Will go back to dine in.“
“The food is your usual 'culprits' when ordering chinese food. the food quality is great; though I will say the beef on a stick can be hit or miss due to how long they're cooked for.The female staffer in the front is always cheery and ready to help. Overall, recommend if you want a quick bite.“
“Fast. Delicious. And now.....online ordering! One of our go-to places when the planned groceries didn't last as far into the week as we expected. It is also that special celebration dinner where you are hankering for a good meal. They do have options other than the dishes you expect from a Chinese cuisine hot spot. Our son really likes their fried chicken tenders. If you are a fan of General Tso's Chicken but don't always want the breading, try the Chicken Fried Rice with a side of General Tso sauce. Yummy in the tummy.Portion sizes are huge. You can easily get 2-3 meals out of an entree. Get enough egg rolls, and you are enjoying some good eats for a few meals. No wrong decisions to be made.“
“I'm not really a huge fan of Chinese food, but I love this place. They have the best wor sue gai, lemon chicken, fried rice and egg rolls....and I'm very picky. They are always so friendly there. The restaurant inside is very clean as well. Very good prices.“
“I was thrilled to hear this Asian restaurant was still open. It is under new ownership and the food is just as good! The portions were very generous and the staff was friendly. The owner was very helpful and appreciative of our business. The strip of businesses is all that remains from City Center Mall. Very glad this restaurant is still open. I'll be back!“
“Always order from China House.Their food is fantastic. Always HotInexpensive.Service is Wonderful. They deliver to Reynoldsburg, where we live.We Love China House! We have stopped ordering from these other takeout restaurants. The food at other places are horrible!!!China House is #1Thank you China House!???????Terrie & Chuck“
“This Sesame Chicken was absolutely delicious! I'm not from the area, and I had a craving for takeout. This place was near my hotel. Food was HOT. Fried rice, and the 2 egg rolls we're also yummy!! They also put some kind of orange sauce in a cup. Dipping the egg rolls in that was to die for!!????? FIVE stars!“
“Chinese food has always been a favorite of mine. However in the last few years I’ve really struggled to find a place that’s good. Usually I’m not impressed. However the food is outstanding here, every single time they hit the mark. Will be a customer for a long “
“Ordered take out on a Saturday evening. Wait time was decent. We ordered tofu pad thai, general tso tofu, fried shrimp, veggie tempura, and a veggie tempura sushi roll. Overall the food was good. I would return if I lived in the area.“
“I was in the neighborhood, and in my experience Chinese spots in the ghetto tend to be the best. It’s not the most ghetto ghetto, but it counts, and I generally can’t pass up the opportunity to try a new Chinese restaurant.Besides the phad thai, which was ok, and the fried rice? which looks like turmeric rice and lacks the soy sauce/msg umami flavor I crave, the sesame chicken was pretty good and spicy surprisingly. The beef lo mein was as expected. My 2 brothers knocked it out in 5 minutes. The chicken fried rice was meh (why is the chicken so bright white? like I was genuine sussed out by this). That aside, the crab rangoon was the real star of the show. Crispy, flaky, creamy not too cheesy BUSSIN down your chin good (really happened to our beards), and they provide a generous cup of that strawberry sauce stuff. This is the only reason I may go 10+ miles out of my way to get 2-3 orders of these rangoons alone.“
“I've been coming here since 2010. The Great Wall was my "go-to," consistent good food, fast, and a reasonable price. Not to mention they're portions are always "point."Oh, and don't forget their always delicious orange tea. This time, I ordered the Triple delight small egg drop, and of course a fresh made orange tea comes in pints only but worth it. $17 grand total“
“My husband finally found a place that had Sweet & Sour Chicken on the sweet side as he requested! He liked his tea, egg roll, and white rice.I enjoyed the extra crispy roasted duck, and egg roll. I had asked for Green tea but should have stayed with their regular tea since mine was a bit weak. My fried rice was cold but they reheated it gracefully. The new waitress had forgotten my Crab Rangoon so they were cold but I let it go. It still tasted OK with the sauce added. It has a comfortable family atmosphere and 2 TVs by the bar.Kid-friendliness: A little girl was seated in one of their highchairs by a booth. She seemed to like her food.“
“Like many Chinese restaurants, service is pretty straight forward. My fave is spicy wings, beef with chinese broccoli/yu choy/eggplant (I just take turn of which veg I'd like that day), beef n egg with rice, and salted fish fried rice. We actually just tried Gen Tso today, it's nothing special. I'd stick with my regular next time.“
“My son and I each got the chicken teriyaki combo that includes a drink and egg roll. We didn't care for the egg roll, it was mushy and tasteless. But the teriyaki chicken was amazing and you get a big portion for the reasonable price! There is no dine in seating, pick up only. Which is fine, I waited in my car after ordering and would rather eat at home anyways. Definitely recommend everyone try this place at least once!“
“I moved from Southern California to Ohio, & this is the 1st time I have had Asian food that reminds me of the west coast. They definitely give you a lot of food for your money, and it's delicious! This place is family owned, and I felt bad that I couldn't leave a decent tip, but I will next time. I wanted to make sure to leave a 5 star review, and a thank you to the young man that helped me today. He & his family provided great service!Dietary restrictions: They made me Vegetable Singapore Mai Fun. They removed the meatParking: This place is in a strip mall, next to a Kroger grocery store, so there's tons of parkingKid-friendliness: They have tables & chairs that are kid friendly“
