Service was great, football games were on, it's very clean inside, friendly environment, we will absolutely be back. My husband had wings, we had fries as well. “We were delighted to find this wonderful place while we were visiting Canton. I started with the salad special - "Green Goddess Salad" It had feta, edamame, pistachios and the dressing was reminiscent of my old favorite Green Goddess dressing. “I love this place. Great food, great friends, great prices. But they have a bartender named rosie who is absolutely rude to the point where you just feel sad for her. She's off at 5 mon-fri. If you enjoy watching a miserable person treat customers poorly and get joy out of it, rosie is your girl. Also don't bother coming here for food when she's here. She said she avoids making food hoping you get drunk and forget about the food. You're better off coming later when one of the nicer bartenders are here.“

“Best bar/restaurant around hands down. I came down with a group of 7 on Thursday and we were pleasantly surprised as it was steak night. Definitely worth the money for steak dinner and the Hillside rivals traditional steak house that charges twice the price. The lobster bisque was phenomenal and think I’m heading back just for that soon. I can’t get over how good the quality of the food. In my opinion there is no close second in terms of quality and service of restaurant/ taverns around ( maybe kind of close second wolf creek tavern lol they are amazing too). Our server Jessica (whom was very personable and attentive) sold us on white French dressing that’s house made. Best French dressing ever had. I also ordered the crab egg roll and have to say it was the best egg roll I ever had. As for the drinks well sold in tall pint glasses. No small glasses here and never had to wait for a refill as Jessica is attentive to her customers. If you live close by the Hartville or Kent area the Hillside is a must to check out you will not be disappointed. I awesome to go to place that is causal that you can come as you are and treated well with quality food and tall drinks!“

“Awesome little dive bar.I recently went to "The Park" for a girls night out. This was the first time I had ever been into this bar. We went on a Thursday, which is the night they have karaoke. The guy running the karaoke (I think his name was Allen) was super nice, and so much fun. The bartender Barbie was super awesome and very sweet. They had a decent size crowd, but she remembered exactly what I was drinking, and my name everytime I went back up to the bar. She can also sing like it's nobody's business. Ladies if you are looking for what I like to call a "safe bar," then look no further because this is the place to go. I had so much fun, and I look forward to going again.“

“We got a fish sandwich and oh my gosh. The fish was two huge pieces on a hoagie bun with lettuce and tomato, plus French fries. I took the fish off the bun as well as the lettuce and tomato because I knew I'd never be able to eat it all if it was on the bun. I barely got the two pieces of fish down anyway.
