“Celebrating our 8 year anniversary, Had the Dinner and Dolce, Medium rare steak cooked perfectly, my girlfriend's spaghetti was so good. Colin our server was great. The only thing that was subpar was the mash potatoes.”

“I had lunch at Mala Hotpot in Sep. 2024 for the first time. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Food quality is very good. Restaurant is clean. Jazz music is great. Meats are not all you can eat but I think the amount of meat they offer for one meal is good enough so you wouldn't eat too much. Vege bar has many choices and is all you can eat. Ordering and paying on your phone is convenient. Robots are used to deliver meat plates.”

“It was a super long day in and out of airports. I flew in for a one day business trip to Columbus and was supposed to be in town by 5pm. I missed my first flight due to traffic in Houston, so I had to choose another one two hours later with a one hour layover in Chicago. I was hoping to catch the Yankees/Indians game 4 playoff game but it was over by the time I landed. I got to my hotel in Hilliard and looked for a place to have a few drinks to unwind. It was 10pm here but to me it was really only 9pm. The first three places I tried in the same viscosity: 1) Closed 2) Under construction, maybe? But definitely closed 3) Not closed but told me they weren’t accepting new customers because they were trying to close. What???? I decided to try one more place, and saw this place called Run of the Mill 0.7 miles away from my hotel on Google. I got there and saw signs of human life! I walked in and Eric greeted my right away, and was super friendly, and reminded me of that Texas kindness I was used to. A few regulars were very cool, and welcoming and we talked MLB, NCAA, and NFL. This place turned a super frustrating day into a fun night and positive first Ohio experience. Would highly recommend if you’re staying at one of the many hotels around here. Or if you’re a resident nearby and have never been here, give it a shot. Last but not least (to Eric): Go Big Red”

I had the bbq wings (which were done perfectly, which can be hard because I am very picky about my wings), and my husband said it was one of the best burgers he has ever had! “I ordered a Mariachi Beef from DoorDash and realized we weren't able to put no tomatoes on the app. I called in a few minutes after we ordered and even though the pizza had already been started i think, the manager still corrected it and got us the pizza how we wanted. Kind of a pain in the butt request but he took care of me anyway with a nice tone. Excellent customer service skills. Oh and the pizza was fire per usual.”

“went to Swensons on Madison road in Cincinnati ohio. We had been meaning to try this since it open. We were a little disappointed in the serving size of the fries, Double cheese burger, and Fried bologna sandwich. Taste wise it was great. Service was fast and friendly. I'd recommend to anyone but I'd definitely recommend to double your order if you want enough to eat.”

“I stopped by here for the first time yesterday with my daughter, and I’m honestly grieving for all the lost past time that I didn’t know about this gem. I don’t even write reviews, but I was floored by how good everything was. We got a pistachio latte, pistachio cake, and I was given a sample of the tea with cream. When I say that is the best tea I have ever tasted that’s not an exaggeration. The cake was nutty and creamy with a light floral flavor and absolutely amazing. My daughter loved her latte too and can’t wait to go back. If the food and beverages weren’t enough (they were) the staff was also extremely kind and they were sweet and patient with my daughter while she figured out what she wanted and changed her mind. I know we will be walking over way more often now.”

The staff is exceptionally friendly and love to tempt your palette with something new and exciting. Oh and did I mention the market is stocked with everything you need to light the fire in your creativity. There is every spice you will need, even the hard to find ones. “I was traveling and stopped here to grab some food. I seen they have lamb burgers so I tried a lamb burger and fries. It's really good stuff and made with really nice toppings as well as you can see in the pictures. The individuals were really nice to me when I was there and were talking about various foods while I was there ordering and waiting for my stuff. I recommend this place if you want to try some really good food and maybe if you want to try a lamb burger instead of beef all of the time.”

“Stopped in here to try the Dubai chocolate bar. Theirs is so good! People working are very nice and as helpful as they can be. Baklava is some of the best I’ve ever had and it’s reasonably priced. They had so many different baklava and other things I don’t even know what to call. But they’re all incredible.”

“Ordered carry out on a crappy and super snowy Friday. Pizza was VERY good. Sauce is just right, pepperoni was spicy and delicious, and the crust was flaky, crispy, and cooked to perfection. Italian sub that I ordered was equally excellent! That bread is so good! Finally, I ordered an open face pizza sub. This was the absolute best that I’ve had! Again, bread is awesome, red sauce is fire, and that spicy old world pepperoni was just like it should be! VERY, VERY good! Six out of five stars!!!”

“I absolutely love this place! We usually order takeout—fried rice, chicken on a stick, lo mein, egg foo young, and more—and everything is always great! They have never disappointed me.

The staff is amazing as well. Whenever I bring my sons to the restaurant, they always greet them warmly and ask how they’re doing in school. One time, my sons were wearing soccer jerseys, and we ended up having a great conversation about local youth soccer teams and which positions they should play.

Some people may say the food is average, but it’s not just about the food. It’s more than that—I TRULY appreciate their kindness. :)”

“This is only the 2nd time we've been here because it falls off of our radar. It shouldn't because it's a bit of a hidden gem. The wings are great, and the onion rings are crispy and delicious. It's a smaller dining area, which is nice because it doesn't get too crowded or too loud when you're having a conversation. If you're a fan of wings and want to try something local, go there. I think you might end up adding it to your rotation of favorites.”

Best service, fast service, super friendly.
The owner is there 75% of the time.
So nice to my kids and his employees love him which is genuine and you can feel it.

“My son and I visited this location this past Sunday, and we were not disappointed. All the dishes we had were wonderful. This was some of the best asian cuisine we have had in quite sometime. She was pleasant, attentive, and even helped my friend figure out where the Target store was from there. We both enjoyed our time at your establishment. My friend had gotten the coney dog (she said she got 1 the day before when she went) and I got a chicken wrap. We also got some waffle fries? I got the strawberry cheesecake too. “Went to the Coffee Festival just a week ago at the time of writing this review, Coffee Mess was one of the roasters that had their coffees available to sample. I sampled their Chami roast during the festival, and with it being a superb coffee compared to what other coffees I sampled, I purchased a bag o' beans from them. Absolutely had no regrets purchasing their coffee after further sampling most of the coffees available at the Coffee Festival––their Chami roast was definitely the top contender for me. Haven't been to their location yet at time of review since it's somewhat out of the way from where I live, but given the quality of the roast I've had so far (I can't overstate I really enjoy this blend, and I'm particular with my coffee), when I run out of the Chami roast I picked up at the festival I know I'm driving out of my way to location to pick up more. I brewed my coffee ground fine with a pour-over with a higher water temp of ~205ºF with it being a lighter roast, and the Chami roast itself has a great earthy flavor with a perfect balance of slight acidity, fruity-ness, minimal bitterness, and great mouthfeel. Highly recommend their coffee if the coffee I've purchased is indicative of their quality. Coffee bag had a little water staining, however the beans themselves are in perfect condition.”

Parking: it's in a plaza, so there is plenty of parking available in the lot, and it's close to the door.

Kid-friendliness: the laid-back atmosphere, lighting, space, and staff make this a wonderful option for the kids. they also have a robust selection available in the kids menu.”
