“My family and I used to come here all the time when we lived in Hilliard. The Golden China team knew us well and even remembered our usual orders. The authenticity of the food—especially the egg rolls, sesame chicken, and fried rice—always kept us coming back.
After moving away from Hilliard 11 years ago, I started returning in 2024 since Golden China is right between my work and home. I’m happy to say the food is still just as authentic and delicious as I remember. Golden China has truly stood for being the best!“

“It doesn’t get much better for a local family Chinese place than this. I have been eating here for at least 20 years and it’s always tasty and fresh. The egg rolls and Rangoon are great. The Mongolian beef is a personal favorite but I also love the fried rice. A particularly amazing batch of pork fried rice inspired this review tonight. The prices are good and the service is great. Do yourself a solid and give them a try sometime.“

“This is the best hotpot place in Columbus. I love the Mala broth, the perfect combination of spicy and flavorful! Today I went and saw that they are actually planning to stop serving hotpot and become a dim sum place, but I hope the management will reconsider, as I come here regularly for the soup and tell all my friends to check it out as well“

“Good food with great portions. Would be my go-to Chinese place if I lived closer. Had Sesame Beef with noodles and it was absolutely oozing with umami.

Only downside is the interior is a bit unkempt. Definitely more take-out oriented.“

“Ordered this through DoorDash and we were very pleased with the quality and quantity of food. Each combination meal comes with either an egg roll or crab rangoon, which is nice to have that option. Usually when I order chicken and vegetables I feel like there is way too much chicken and hardly any veggies but that was not the case here. There were plenty of vegetables including zucchini, which I haven’t seen before but was very happy to have. The portion sizes were good for the price. The chips that came with the soup and the fortune cookies were a bit stale. The soup arrived warm and was delicious.“
