“Went to McQueen's to pick up some honey crisp apples. And some of their delicious apple cider. This place offers vegetables, fruit, jams, breads, donuts and pies. You can tour the orchard and pick your own apples. Or grab a bag of pre-picked apples. You're able to visit the petting zoo. And the pumpkin patch this time of year. Lots of gifts in the several gift shops. Great place to visit. Was able to pick up a bag of 12 medium sized honey crisp apples for $16.“

“I had a memorial cake made for my father on 6/11/22. i can honestly say that it was one of the best cakes that I have ever eaten. The compliments were never ending. It was half chocolate and half vanilla with buttercream frosting. i will most definitely use them again. The price was right and service was great. i will highly recommend Strachn Bakery“

“1st time customer, wasn't sure what I wanted so I described it. cold, large, caffeine, bourbon syrup. I walked out with hands down the best cold brew coffee I've ever had in my life. It is seriously that good. I wish I had gotten 2. I'll definitely be going back!!“

“Tiger Bakery has been a Toledo favorite for decades. Their kitchen, food prep areas, and the glass serving/display counters were always sparkling clean and always impressive. I still remember the tantalizing smells of all the food. There are plenty of options so you won't have any problem pleasing everyone in your entire family or group. Those glass displays enable everyone to choose what you're in the mood for as you're ordering--very helpful in case people aren't familiar with Middle Eastern & Mediterranean food. In fact, this is a perfect place to get acquainted with foods you haven't tried, or return for your favorite dishes, because the high quality, amazing flavors, and the cleanliness is consistent. The service is fast, the food is fabulous, and you won't leave hungry. I almost forgot--HEALTHY OPTIONS are plentiful here. While there are abundant meat dishes, there are also plenty of rice dishes, vegetable dishes, all so good even people who do eat meat won't miss it. (Now I'm hungry!) I don't think it would bother anyone if I tell one of my Mom, Carol's, secrets: she truly enjoyed working here years ago (mid-1990s-2000s) and was treated so well, she would come home in a good mood. “I tried Jera's for the first time about a week ago, and the staff was so friendly. I purchased some cinnamon rolls and a slice of sweet potato pie. I enjoyed both! I really like the cinnamon rolls and can't wait to try the peach cobbler! Definitely recommend!“

“Really cool place! The door is to the left of the window, into the hall with the staircase, and then through the door on the right.It was pretty crowded but we did not have to wait to order and our drinks came out quickly, just seemed like a lot of people were hanging out enjoying the shop. The two baristas were very patient while we made up our minds about our order. And even when I accidentally made a mistake when ordering they were kind enough to help! We left an extra tip for their graciousness. Great hospitality.“

“Such a cute place! I went close to closing time so there wasn't much to choose from but the options available looked awesome. Their Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar is SO GOOD! The staff was nice, answered all my questions about the desserts and told me about their cute room rentals for events! Definitely recommend trying them“

“The best bakery! Claire has the kindest heart and it really translates into her baked goodies. Her cakes are absolutely amazing and our story is even more special because she actually helped deliver our twins 3 years ago! She was amazing as our doctor and amazing as the baker for our twins’ 3rd birthday cakes and cupcakes. They were beautifully decorated and everyone kept telling us how delicious they were. Her cakes really have the homemade flavor that we cannot seem to find anywhere else. Our favorite is the confetti cake with American buttercream. The croissants are the most flaky buttery goodness you’ll ever taste. If you’re looking for a bakery, look no further you will not be disappointed!“

“Miss J has the best cupcakes I’ve ever had! And her cake pops are to die for. If you want GOOD sweets and to support a small local business, this is the way to go. The cupcakes are light and sweet and I’m always craving them whenever I’m nearby. Plus the lady running the store is so incredibly kind!! This bakery is an absolute gem.“

“We LOVE nothing Bundt cakes! Immediately when we walked in we were welcomed with the yummiest sample of the funfetti flavor. The lady working was so kind and very helpful as we picked up a Bundt cake to go. They happened to have the one we wanted on hand, but it may be helpful to order ahead if you're worried about it. These cakes are consistent, delicious, and a fan favorite.“

“I bought a lemon blueberry cake for a dinner, and a dozen cupcakes to take into work the following day. I must say that the best cake and cupcakes I've ever had came from here. The lemon frosting she makes is out of this world. Everyone including myself fell in love with goodies I got from here. 5 of 5 and will be back.“

“Staff was relatively friendly and the place is pretty cute and looks fairly clean! Lots of options but i she they had vegan donuts so I went and Monday-Friday they ONLY have ONE VEGAN kind. Then weekend I guess they have more. It was a Sour cream old fashioned. It was delicious!! Just wish there were more options daily for vegans, that's a huge turn off here in Toledo:/“

“We chose Eston’s for our wedding cake(s) and we are BEYOND glad that we did. Not only were we able to get more than enough cake for all guests by opting for a two tier and kitchen cakes but we chose multiple flavors and each was a hit! Almond zebra, key lime, strawberry cream, tiramisu - ALL SO GOOD. Plus, the to-go sampler bag was a great way to try all the flavors and pick our favorites.“

“In a moment when absolutely no grocery stores carry the round pumpernickel bread NEEDED for spinach dip my Facebook friends suggested your store. The young lady on the phone was beyond helpful and pleasant. She offered to hold the last load for me as I was coming from Blissfield Mi. Mind you I picked it up on the Saturday before Easter. When I arrived how blown away was I by the variety of products they carry! I could have spent an hour looking around and filling up the counter with wonderful baked goods, deli items etc! “Stopped in for lunch. What a cute place and the food was excellent. I had their chicken salad on lettuce (I'm gluten free) and it was exceptional! The portions were small so I ordered a second one. Their prices are reasonable so both servings cost about $10 - total. Really reasonable for the quality. My husband had their chili with cornbread. It too was excellent! It's a small place but they have a nice menu offering a number of interesting sandwiches / salads. Breakfast is only served on weekends. Not your ordinary fare, and all no doubt excellent. They take pride in the fact they don't have a microwave, and there are no friers. Everything is earth to oven quality food. Highly recommend.“

“Man oh man! This place is a 10 Star ⭐️The food is legit as close to mom’s home cooking than anywhere else. The hummus is heaven sent, the best I have ever had. The fresh bread is soft and fluffy. The food has so much flavor! The tabouli was okay too. The beef shawarma sandwich was delicious. The beef grape leaves, come on, insane how they melt in your mouth. The grapes are second to Moms home made recipe. No doubt the best true Arab restaurant I’ve visited. The baklava and Jordan Almonds are on point. I bought the Turkish coffee to go. Wooooooo!“

“Very nice market and restaurant. Got the fattoush salad and a mixed shawarma plate with rice and coleslaw. Their garlic sauce is among the best I've ever had, as was the dressing for the fattoush. The shawarma was a little underwhelming.“

“I found this place a couple years ago and honestly since it is my favorite ice cream place to go. They have a variety of different ice cream which are all amazing! “I am so happy this place exists. Two years ago I was diagnosed with celiac disease and I was referred here by a friend. I’m a big sandwich junkie and they have some bomb sandwiches. Their sweet treats are super yum, I would love to see them have gluten free donuts sometime, but also their macaroni salad… I literally go in there and buy pounds of it. It’s so delish. “Had someone back out a couple weeks before our wedding. The owner is so lovely and easy to talk to. I felt confident she would make exactly what we wanted. She even offers delivery which was one less thing we had to worry about. She showed up early and set the cake up exactly where we wanted. I would recommend her for anyone for any occasion.“

I wish they served everything hot instead of making you microwave it and warm it up yourself with food they made the day before. (Makes it dry) If it wasn’t for this, they would sell out every day Guaranteed!. “I wanted a doughnut cake for my husband. I called the Sylvania location as that is close to my home. I was told that they make those at the Secor location. I called there and placed my order. The woman was kind enough to offer to have the cake transported to the Sylvania location for me to pick up (no charge). I picked up the cake a few days later and it was ABSOLUTELY beautiful! A LOT of time and effort was put into making this cake look perfect. Everyone kept talking about how amazing the cake looked. Oh, and....it was DELICIOUS!! We will be back :-)“
