“Had the opportunity to eat a boxed lunch made for the training group I attended today, and generally speaking, most of the 185 other people enjoyed their food too. I had the smoked turkey which came with a small bag of Lay's potato chips, a small container of coleslaw, two chocolate chip cookies, and a breath mint. Mind you, I didn't eat most of it, but it was still a refreshing change from the other venue we came from. My only recommendation would be to put more healthy foods together. For example an apple or orange, and maybe healthier chips?“

“Really tasty food, especially the veg lumpia, shrimp gulay & ube brownie. Extremely friendly & helpful staff. My wife forgot her purse after our dinner & Flora was nice enough to stop in on her day off to look for it. Very much appreciated!! We’ll definitely return!“

“I remember running out after catholic school racing to go here when they were on the corner of Lansing Ave. They would set out samples of smokies and would let me have some. Unfortunately I think I started that because I lived on Lansing and always went there so I knew. Other kids started following me to this wonderful family owed shop. They were so lovely and never complained and just set them out. Once in awhile I would buy one. I’m 47 now and it’s such a lovely memory for me. A highlight after school. I have since moved out the area however my husband works in it. He surprises me often with a few bags of smokies. Oh man still delicious and nothing like them. Only problem is there is never enough sharing them now with my kids. If you know about their smokies than you know. If you don’t than you’re missing out“

“Omg!!! I did not feel like cooking for Thanksgiving and I will tell you the food and the service was beyond amazing! They provided detailed pickup and warmup instructions. While I enjoy cooking there is nothing more rewarding that having food that meets your standards and even better! I will definitely be ordering again. “The bacon Mac and cheese is to die for! It’s so creamy and flavorful, some of the best Mac I’ve had. It comes with bread that has a really good garlic butter. My hubby had the smash burger with fries. Everything came out hot and was crispy. We also got the mango smoothie lemonades. They’re amazing, if you’re ever in downtown Cleveland, you gotta try out this place.“

“Our favorite wedding vendor!! My husband and I got married at Venue 81 Eleven (formerly New Orleans Party Center), which was recently taken over by Verba's. The change in caterer was sudden and unexpected, so naturally we were nervous about changing such a huge part of our wedding so relatively close to the wedding day, especially since we had already signed a contract with the previous caterer. From the start, Verba's set our minds at ease and assured we would be taken care of. They honored the prices and inclusions from our contract with the previous caterer to the best of their ability, which shows how flexible and honest they are. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our reception was everything we envisioned; from food, to reception set up and take down, to service, and making sure us and our guests were fully accommodated. The food was absolutely delicious (compliments to chef Joe and his entire kitchen staff) and our guests raved to us about it. Nathan was AMAZING at communicating with us throughout the entire process and truly made sure everything was exactly what we wanted, and left no question or request unanswered. “Spice came through for a client appreciation event we hosted in the most impressive way!We needed a very last minute catering solution as well as a staff member to help us for the evening, I reached out to David (Event Curator) and he did exactly as his title suggests! He was incredibly solution-oriented, helped us with a menu and staff, and was a world class communicator all the way through!The event went swimmingly, Eric was on site with us for the staff support - a delightful and highly professional human - and we received excellent feedback on the menu itself!I am so looking forward to working with Spice again in the future!“

“We stopped here for dinner on a Saturday night a little bit later around 730 which was kind of nice because it wasn’t super busy and we were able to sit right by the bar area which is kind of nice because it’s a little bit quieter there. Great menu selection,they have pizzas, burgers side dishes and their specials for daily were pretty nice as well. Nice wine selection, and beer selection. It’s in a strip mall and it’s small on the outside, but goes back further. Definitely hard to mess if you’re not looking for it. Plenty of parking. Definitely a nice place if you’re in the neighborhood, service was great. We had a very nice server.“
