“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

The beekeeper was nice. A little sweet from the honey but not overpowering. I preferred it closer to room temperature than right out of the oven.but thats my preference

“I have had to be gluten free for years and love biscuits and gravy but obviously have been unable to eat them. Stopped in the Neighborhood Nest today for brunch and got the biscuits and gravy and they were AMAZING!!! The people were so sweet too- I highly recommend this place!!“

“I had been wanting to try Flavors for years and finally got the chance to do so last night. We had 2 different soups and 2 different wraps. Everything was delicious and we are excited to go back to try even more. The girl who greeted us gave us a run down of the menu, told us their specialities, and offered soup samples. “Been here a couple times and almost everything has been excellent. The bar especially makes a delicious cocktail. I can personally recommend the Pan fried walleye and the pork jezebel. The beets are great too if you’re into that. Only thing on the menu I wouldn’t get again is the carbonara. I love this dish but it’s not easy to serve at a restaurant. Texture is off putting unless it’s made to order and served immediately. Overall very nice place. Also very busy for good reason.“

“Stopped by the one in Waynesville today. Quality breakfast sandwich. Wish they had condiments, I asked for mayonnaise and they said they had no condiments. Coffee was great. Cinnamon roll tasted more like a hopped up glazed donut with maple icing. Not my style.“

“We were traveling from Buffalo New York to Mahomet IL and stopped at the Smokey Bones in Dayton for dinner. We have a Smokey Bones in Buffalo which is excellent and expected the same service in Dayton, we were not disappointed! Smokey Bones has an extensive menu with a focus on smoked meats. We suggest their baby back ribs their signature dish.“

Typical mashed potatoes on the side, good but nothing extraordinary, last I had the crème brule cheesecake, it was the best cheesecake over ever had. Would recommend this place to anyone. Server seemed scatterbrained and not rude but not super nice either. Idk if she was having a bad day or was ready to go but that’s my only complaint. A really good place to go celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommend.“

“Our 1st time visiting this restaurant was on November 4, 2024 in the evening. It was slightly busy at this location. I got a small bowl with steak, broccoli, kale, cucumbers, egg, cheese & yum yum sauce. I actually wanted a bowl with chicken but if you look up their nutrition facts and think that the chicken would be low carb....you would be absolutely WRONG!! I don't know what they do to their chicken but the carbs were ridiculous and that's why I went with the steak. The food was good but they don't give alot of kale.....which is a shame especially since its so chopped up and small. And you don't get alot of broccoli either....because it's so big, you may get 3 or 4 pieces. THAT should be chopped smaller! All in all I would go back again!“

“I am a travel nurse, and my husband and I love trying different fine dining restaurants. This was one of the best restaurants in the entire country that we’ve been to. In addition, our waiter Dane, was phenomenal. We brought our 2 year old son, and he laughed and played with him, creating the perfect dining experience, while recommending the best dishes. Could not recommend this restaurant enough, 5 star service, for sure.“

“The wait was reasonable, about 20 minutes.
Everything was clean including bathrooms.
Bread was served quickly.
The food was just not good today for me personally. Shepherds pie was like soup with too many mushrooms that i didn’t know were included to start with. Mushroom gravy doesn’t imply chunks of mushrooms.
Daughter enjoyed fish tacos.
We both enjoyed the tiramisu !!!
Service was ok , nothing to write home about. Not very personable. Had to wait a long time for coffee, then the cake, then didn’t get the cream until later. Then had to wait for a box. Hostess was more personable ironically. They are doing great up front.
Worst part was price, $93!
No appetizers . Daughter had water. Guess typical nowadays but wow!!!!!“
