“I got a couple of pieces of fish and some hushpuppies. The combo I got came with hushpuppies and a side. I chose hushpuppies as my side and added two more as well. For me, those are the highlight. I did not get anything from the KFC half of this KFSilver's. But, the wait time was short and the service was very good. The food was what you'd expect. It obviously isn't the most amazing food but, you know what you're getting when you go. You compare it to itself, essentially. It's only as good as it can be. The hushpuppies, as you can imagine were great. Of course I'd go again and I might even get stuff made from chickens.“

“Went on Valentine’s Day without reservations. Were told a 45 minute wait for a table, or immediate seating at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. Our waiter Maurice was quick to provide service and very friendly and informative. We both ordered the pacific combo and it was delivered in probably 10 minutes! It was outstanding and we were so stuffed we couldn’t even finish it, all the crab legs were filled with meat (never got an empty one) and everything was exceptional. We drove 2 hours to eat here and would do it again! Thank you Maurice!“

“Why we loved Gene's: Creative, delectable cuisine; an inventive array of wines and cocktails; friendly, expert sommelier and wait staff; cozy, northern California vibe; and well paced courses. Bottom line, we loved everything about Gene’s.

And one more thing - the owner personally followed-up on our experience. I can honestly say that has never happened to me before.

Gene's is unique in every way - front and back of house and most definitely at the table. You should absolutely add this soon to your collection of culinary experiences.“

“Normally I get the branzino (love it) but was talked into the special, a 10 ounce center cut filet. Glad I tried it, was cooked perfectly. I was surprised when the bill came, a lot less than I expected it to be. Will definitely be back, we have another reservation in a few weeks“

“Ashley was a wonderful server, extremely accommodating! Her suggestions helped me pair the right drink with my mood and my meal! The food was phenomenal. We shared deviled eggs and steak egg rolls. The eggs were top -tier, and the egg rolls basically melted in our mouths. We ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes, and our friend had the grilled salmon with orzo. We need boxes. We took home dessert. Coming here was the best decision we made last weekend.“

“Celebrated my bf’s bday here which was my first visit. We stopped in 4p on a weeknight so it was very quiet/not busy at all. Service was great and the food came out super speedy.

I forgot to take a picture of our main courses but we enjoyed the cajun pasta, steak eggrolls, steak N’ fries, mac & cheese, and carrot cake. Everything was delicious and I would certainly come again!“

“We met for lunch for my child's 21st birthday. I brought 'birthday candle sparklers' and told our server so it would not alarm anyone if we lit them. She asked if she could keep them at her station until we were ready. When the time came, she unexpectedly carried in such a beautiful presentation of cake slices and embellishments with the sparklers lit and ready! “Well we ate dinner at the feast Buffet, a new place not impressed. Some food was good but a lot of it was cold. They don't serve hot mustard for a sauce, they don't serve melted butter for crab, crispy noodles for the soups. My opinion is China Supreme Buffet is better. Seating is 4 people booths and 4 people tables, so our party of 6 can't sit together, but you can sit across the isle from each other. also charge $10.79 service fee each check (Gratuity) because there were 6 of us.“

“I can eat a lot. When I got to the fries with my fish and chicken dinner, I was so full I had to leave half of them. What a huge portion. Came out piping hot and delicious. Sadly I probably won't be back as we just stopped for gas and food. What an excellent choice“

I had come in because I really wanted to make sure the order was right, and It was an unexpected delightful experience. Kudos to this location for the service!!“
