“I got a couple of pieces of fish and some hushpuppies. The combo I got came with hushpuppies and a side. I chose hushpuppies as my side and added two more as well. For me, those are the highlight. I did not get anything from the KFC half of this KFSilver's. But, the wait time was short and the service was very good. The food was what you'd expect. It obviously isn't the most amazing food but, you know what you're getting when you go. You compare it to itself, essentially. It's only as good as it can be. The hushpuppies, as you can imagine were great. Of course I'd go again and I might even get stuff made from chickens.“

“It was a rainy night in April. We had a party of 12.
The restaurant was only half full due to the weather. Our server was so attentive and friendly.
She was an OSU student and working on her degree.
Our food came out fast and correct temperature.
I had the stuffed trout and veggies. All were so delicious. The cocktails came rapidly.
We will be back, due to the server and excellent food.“

“Went on Valentine’s Day without reservations. Were told a 45 minute wait for a table, or immediate seating at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. Our waiter Maurice was quick to provide service and very friendly and informative. We both ordered the pacific combo and it was delivered in probably 10 minutes! It was outstanding and we were so stuffed we couldn’t even finish it, all the crab legs were filled with meat (never got an empty one) and everything was exceptional. We drove 2 hours to eat here and would do it again! Thank you Maurice!“

“I was put on a strict diet this week (no gluten, no soy, no dairy, etc.) so I came in not knowing what I could eat. The staff was super helpful in helping me decide my meal and the menu is super accommodating for allergies! 10/10 would recommend checking this place out :)“

“First time dining here. Wanted to take my wife somewhere special for a night away that we don't get often. We were not disappointed. Nicholas was our server and he did a wonderful job. Very informative on menu and very kind. Food was delicious! Will be back for sure.“

“I really wanted to love Gene's, as I have heard wonderful things, but we were very underwhelmed with the food.
The Crudo small plate was mediocre at best and very fishy (although it was beautifully plated!). The Asparagus was delicious, but not $27 delicious. The Ricotta cavatelli was ok. The Pork was yummy. The Quesillo (Venezuelan flan) was just... meh.
The service from all staff and the atmosphere were absolutely A+. (Ellie (sp) was amazing!)
I will go back to give it another shot, but for the price it's a tough sell...“

“Sam, our server, was excellent! Food was average. The steak was cooked perfectly and excellent. The Halibut with the risotto was very salty. Both of us had French onion soup. The soup was good but the cheese was barely melted and the overall temp of the soup was luke warm.“

“I had heard good things so I took my GF for a date night to Firebirds. We showed up to our reservation and it was busy, but we didn’t wait long. The atmosphere was great, the place had a great vibe, and our service was excellent. We both ordered their 3 course special and our favorite part was the brownie sundae! Also I hate deviled eggs and tolerated them…my gf loves deviled eggs and was obsessed! The steak and sides were good but the steak was on the crispy side. Still loved it!“

“We were unable to dine in because of the virus scare. I should have eaten my Poke Bowl with a Corona. but it was delicious with the mango, pineapple lemonade. lol“

“In town from WV for Bruno concert. Establishment had raving reviews so we headed your way. Great choice, did not disappoint. Atmosphere moody and comfortable. Decor beautiful, loved the wine room, restroom well appointed. Hostess pleasant and seated us promptly. Our wait staff Sam was excellent, he was knowledgeable about specials of the day and other menu items. Drinks, starter and my california roll were out first. Best California roll I've had in awhile. The crossiants with honey butter were tender and flaky. They should also be on your dessert menu. My steak cooked to perfection, potato melted in my mouth, broccoli tender and flavored well. My friend had chicken special, says it too was tender and flavorful. Would highly recommend to family and friends and have. Will try lexington location soon. Hope it has the same high standards as this location. Thanks for a great start to a memorable day.“

“Well we ate dinner at the feast Buffet, a new place not impressed. Some food was good but a lot of it was cold. They don't serve hot mustard for a sauce, they don't serve melted butter for crab, crispy noodles for the soups. My opinion is China Supreme Buffet is better. Seating is 4 people booths and 4 people tables, so our party of 6 can't sit together, but you can sit across the isle from each other. also charge $10.79 service fee each check (Gratuity) because there were 6 of us.“

“I can eat a lot. When I got to the fries with my fish and chicken dinner, I was so full I had to leave half of them. What a huge portion. Came out piping hot and delicious. Sadly I probably won't be back as we just stopped for gas and food. What an excellent choice“
