What I noticed quickly was that they weren’t using the homemade noodles. I was quickly disappointed because that was the main reason why I went there. The food doesn’t have the same authentic taste, especially now that it feels like I’m eating less expensive store-bought pasta.“

“Error made with my order today at Marinos.. I ordered the Italian Delight and received the Tour of Italy.. when I told the waitress about the error she went to the chef, who refused to come out of the kitchen, and said I would have to pay for both meals if I insisted the error be corrected.. I angrily replied I would go hungry.. the chef came out of the kitchen, discussed the order, brought me the correct meal and only charged me for the meal I ordered.. Its a shame I had to get loud, make a small vocal scene, and be an embarrassment to friends to get the issue resolved.. Waitress was great, food was excellent, and a relaxing atmosphere overall.“

“Ate there for early dinner service this evening, enjoyed the happy hour pick 3 special with soup (pasta fagioli), 8 oz. steak, and the strawberry cream cake. The soup kicked it off in the right direction by being absolutely delicious! My buddy gave me his salad with the house vinaigrette dressing, which was also killer. The steak came out cooked perfect medium as requested, seasoned incredibly well without being overbearing on the taste buds, juicy, and delectable. The French fries that accompanied the entree were fine old school style, which may not be for everyone, but was right up I my alley. Fresh sliced Italian bread accompanied the meal from the beginning and was perfect for sopping up the soup, salad dressing, and steak drippings. The meal finished with an incredible dessert cake that was above average in flavor but elevated even more but the warm berry compote on top. I’ll definitely be coming back to Cafe 422 and will highly recommend it to anyone who considers. Thanks for the memorable meal and great service! I’ll be dreaming about that steak tonight 🤤“

“Antones is always a great choice when looking for a tasty meal. Today we had the loaded fried cheese Monday special and the Romano crusted chicken Alfredo. Our meals came with monkey salad (which barely made the picture as it was too good to not eat quickly) and bread with dipping oil. All items were great and I’d recommend just about everything on the menu. Aside from the fabulous food, the family memorabilia on the walls truly adds to the overall experience along with the quick and friendly service. This place is worth a trip and a great go to if you live in town.“

“We cannot speak highly enough of this charming Italian place! We were passing through on our way back to Wisconsin and really wanted woodfired pizza. The place was swamped, we later found out due to homes nearby being without power and/or having gas leaks due to a tornado nearby. But, the wait was absolutely worth it. The complimentary bread was delicious, especially the pizza bread!

Our daughter ordered the Margherita pizza and we ordered the fig and ham which also had bacon. I'm more of a fan of bacon than ham so I was apprehensive, but this was so delicious!

Despite being so busy, everyone was warm, and welcoming and as attentive as they could be!

“When we left the NYC metro area for Northeast Ohio, we initially settled in the Boardman area. One of my sons was a freshman at Youngstown State. We visited from Long Island for Freshman Student Orientation Day. After getting Connor settled in his dorm room, we were famished. We asked his residence advisor when we could get some good, filling food. We do not eat fast food. He thought for a second and said, "Do you like Italian food?" Of course, we replied. "We are from the NYC area. We are used to good Italian food! Nothing fancy but delicious and authentic. Maybe a place that makes good sandwiches. The Resident Advisor said, "Then you are gonna love Jimmy's." This kid was right. I can't remember what I ordered, but it was some Brick. They are called something else in NYC, but this was delicious. My daughter, my husband, my brother, and my son- we were all really impressed with Jimmy's. Over the years, we have ordered your lasagna for holidays and special events. And we have always enjoyed it. I have purchased your frozen scallops, frozen broccoli rabe, escarole, and a plethora of delicious cheeses and pastries for holidays for several years. We moved to a suburb of Cleveland. Unfortunately, we do not get into the Y'town area that often. When we do, we visit you. Now I am facing a tragic event- the loss of my husband of 18 years. He had a cough and other symptoms that, as a retired nurse, disturbed me. I convinced him to visit the ER at University Hospital. He was given an MRO and transferred to Seidman Cancer Center. It was discovered that he had a particularly aggressive form of Non-Hodgekin's Lymphoma. I have been told that. He already had stage IV Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He lasted only 4 weeks. I am distraught. He had just turned 70. We wanted to travel and enjoy getting old together. I came to your website because I realize that I am not emotional enough to cook. I am too sad and too stressed. Instead, I will once again rely on Jimmy's to make Lasagna, and provide me with a cookie tray. I am sure that when I am there, I will add to my list. We will serve this at church to those who attend.“

The restaurant isn't stylin' on the exterior but the food served there is DELICIOUS ! Don't know how many times I drove by there and never noticed it. Make it a point to search out it's location ,you'll be glad you did. . ( The marinara is the best I've ever had in a restarant, in fact it's all GOOD eating.)“
