“Honestly just love Italian food and had no idea this place existed but so glad we found it. Connected to a golf course but such a hidden gem! Please go out of your way to try this place. The food and service are great! Almost no wait for a thing and nothing but smiles for anything you ask of the staff. Was so nice enjoying a nice dinner with no TVs playing and just gentle music and laughter from everyone enjoying themselves. Can't wait to come back.“

“We were able to get a same day reservation and were seated within 10 minutes. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and open. It was a busy night so the service was a tad slow, but our waitress was very friendly. The food quality was good! The calamari was delicious :)“

“The staff was courteous and very accommodating especially when asked to modify a certain dish on the menu. The only disappointment was that they didn't have sausage or veal on their menu. I usually opt for sausage with pasta and my husband likes veal Parmesan. The restaurant is clean and comfortable.Dietary restrictions: Let your waitress/waiter know of your allergies. “Our reservation at another local restaurant was lost on a busy Saturday night. We had tickets for a show at DeYor at 730 so we wanted something close. Yosteria came in mind. Luckily they could squeeze us in and it was amazing. We told our lovely server we had a time crunch and she went beyond for our group. Not only were we out the door in plenty of time to make the show, it was delicious!! We will be back!“

“Went with my family to celebrate a birthday. Dinner selection was great, amazing pasta and fish choices. Stuffed Halibut and Whitefish were excellent, Veal was delicious as well. We had 6 in our party, seated quickly, service was outstanding and quick. Dinner Salads were a little disappointing... I recommend getting the soups. Generous portions and decent bar service. Prices were an excellent value for the quality of main dish. I'll be back to try the chicken Marsala, which I hear is fantastic.“

“I just picked up 4 fish dinners for my family and it was absolutely delicious!!!! The greens, the fish, the tarter sauce and the perogies were all awesome!!!! The salad dressing is perfect!!!! The homemade bread is the best around!!!!! Do not underestimate this family run business!!!! They don't do100 menu items at 50%, so the menu items they have are done at 120%!!!! “We had no idea what this place was like, I googled a place with good Tiramisu and Jimmy's showed up. They were incredibly friendly on the phone when i ordered. When we arrived to pick it up, my husband and i stopped in our tracks. This place is huge, with display cases FULL of every Italian dessert, cookie, pastry, biscotti, i could go on and on. Then you arrive at the displays of meat, cheese, pasta, etc. All the staff was so welcoming and friendly especially the young lady who waited on us.In the car we immediately tried a bite of one of the 6 extra desserts we purchased! Magical. Delicious. Period.“

“We got the 18" stuffed pizza and boy, was it stuffed! The cheese was the first thing I noticed. How real and fresh it tasted, then the delicious red sauce and all the meet. My boyfriend and I had one piece and it was all we could eat. Great, fresh ingredients, good price, and absolutely filling and delicious.“

“We dined here first time last night for our anniversary. The Rome style theme of the restaurant did not dissapoint! We ordered the Lamb lollypops and Polpo ( octopus) for appetizers, and both were outstanding! We followed with Prima, our choices were one of the nights special of a pork ragu over pasta and the other entree was the papparadelle ragu. Both very delicious and quite filling! Ending our dinner with the Tiramisu ( best i have ever had!) and gelato were the perfect way to celebrate our day! Please understand that in the style of food service in Italy, you are expected to sit and savor your meal, so this restaurant follows suite. Loved it and will definitely return!“

“Born and raised in Warren but have been gone for 15 years. Vernon's is always a stop when back in town. This past visit did not disappoint. Tortellini with Short Rib and the Butternut Squash Gnocchi were both amazing features. We wanted to eat slowly and take little bites to make the meal last. My mother had the original gnocchi however, wanted to different sauce and protein and they easily accommodated here requests. Highly recommend.“

Broiled fish. chicken breast and a low carb appetisor would be nice. Boring but necessary when out with the family.Wheelchair accessibility: Spouse uses walker and/or wheelchair. “What a great place to meet friends for sone drinks and to eat. The sausage sandwich with hit peppers is delicious and so is everythibg else for that matter. Drinks are cheap and the pours are great. The staff is awesome. They have an outdoor patio for smoking with lots of seating. I meet my friends here all the time when travelling into town.“

“We live within 5 minutes of this restaurant but never think of going here, that won't be the case any longer! This place is a true family owned, family ran restaurant. The place is small, probably holds 40 people but it is nicely decorated and clean. The portions are huge, so big that I only ate half of my meal which rarely happens. So let's start from the beginning....The bread was very fresh and delicious. The salads were fresh and crisp while the dressings were flavorful. I ate my son's coleslaw, it was delicious, crisp and had a little sweetness to it. I ordered the Nonni's Chicken, spaghetti topped with sauce, greens, breaded chicken and a Hungarian hot pepper. The chicken was very tender and the greens were on par! I highly recommend this dish, did I mention how generous the portion was? The wife hade spicy chicken Alfredo and my son had shrimp Alfredo, both really enjoyed their meals. You could tell that the sauce was made to order and was very creamy. I am not sure how we have neglected to patronize the place for so long but I believe that will change moving forward. Go visit them and support a true family owned business.“

“I was not expecting to find Jersey level integrity at an Italian Deli in Ohio. Bravo!What do I mean by this? Well, on my first visit to Jimmy's, hanging right on the front door was a very good sign. Actually, it was a sad sign that announced escarole was not available at the moment, and Jimmy's was compelled to use frozen chopped spinach for their famous greens. 1) That's some incredible transparency right there. Did I say "Bravo!" because, Bravo!2) It show's that Jimmy's understands this is a serious enough issue for its clientele to post the information before you even enter the doors. Salud!But I came here as a pit stop on a road trip, and I would not be deterred. I strolled up to the sandwich counter, and got the pollo diavolo brick, and asked them to add some of those greens into the mix. Even with frozen chopped spinach, that extra 50 cents was money well spent. Bellissimo!My travel companion got the meatball sub and was very happy. We haven't found meatballs like this in the midwest. They may not have been Providence level meatballs, but that's a very high bar indeed. It happened to be an unseasonably warm day, so we took our sandwiches and sat in the sun on a stone bench by the parking lot. The outdoor dining patio was sensibly closed for the season. After the sandwich, we were compelled to venture back inside to check out the pastry case. The lobster tail was properly enormous, and could have easily been split by a family of four. What I already know for sure is that is going to be a regular spot for us when driving across Ohio, and I look forward to many happy returns.“

“My favorite place for Ziti marinara, it's the best I've ever had. Sandwiches are excellent, and so are their homemade soups. Steak Salad is great as well. Their traditional Pizza is fantastic. I've been going there since the mid 90's and enjoyed every time. Don't forget to try one of those excellent cookies :) I am grateful to have this place locally.“

“Love! Love! The restaurant's atmosphere was my favorite! Very peaceful, elegant and welcoming! The servers were very attentive, professional and kind. My sisters and I really enjoyed taking my mother out for her birthday celebration. The prices and the portions were excellent. The scallops and shrimp were huge and cooked very well! The calamari was good too! The only small dislike was the meatballs in the appetizer we ordered, they didn't have a bit to them. The meatballs kind of disintegrated before I could even taste the meat. It was almost a puree texture. I still give the restaurant 5 stars!“

Family owned you won’t regret visiting for a quick lunch or a lengthy dinner. They have music and a great selection of alcohol. They make this smoked drink I love right in front of you! “Our nonprofit worked with Salvatore's Howland to host a retirement party for our president in their newly renovated banquet hall. It was the perfect size and ambiance for the event. Sal Jr. and the other staff were great to work with from our initial inquiry and meeting to execution of the event and clean up. The food spread was not only delicious but beautifully displayed, and the team went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. We received so many compliments on the entire affair and will certainly keep them in mind for future events we might have. Thank you to Salvatore's and all the staff there for your help in making this a special night for our president and organization overall!“
