“First time visiting and our food was phenomenal! Got the margarita flight and it was the perfect mix of flavor to share. Maria was attentive, friendly and took wonderful care of us through our dining experience. Will be back soon!Parking: Parking available on the street or behind the building. Daytime parking may be more difficult than evenings/weekends“
“Fiesta Jalapenos had become a Medina staple. Great food & great service!Parking: Easy parking accessible all around the building.Kid-friendliness: They still hold a tradition of singing happy birthday to it's patrons. The kids love it!“
“Just wow. We picked this place at random - we were going to a different restaurant nearby, but the wait for tables there was too long. We looked across the road, saw this place, and thought, "let's go there." Boy, am I glad we did!Everyone from the greeters to the servers to the bus people were friendly and helpful. Our waitress continually came back with a smile and was just so nice. But the huge surprise was the food! Everything, I mean absolutely everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. My wife had the chef's special, which was so good she told them that they should add it to the menu. My tacos were delicious, the chips and salsa were wonderful, and the guacamole is some of the best that I've ever had.The food came out very quickly, and we did not feel rushed - quite the opposite. It was a relaxed, casual environment and felt like a friendly, family-run restaurant. We will definitely be back!“
“Delicious, but only gave/charged for half the order we asked for. Asked for 2 orders of tamales and 2 orders of tacos as the orders are pretty small (which is why we asked for 2 each). Only received one each. Repeated ourselves at least 4 times. Didn't feel like they were paying attention to our order.“
“Hubs and I enjoy coming to Don Tequila in Medina! The food is always good, and I love that they have potato options. This restaurant is cozy and quaint. Sometimes I worry I have annoyed the waiters, but they are always sweet.Vegetarian options: They have the typical options, clearly marked, for vegetarian at a Mexican restaurant, but they do list a crab item in the Vegetarian part of the menu.“
“The owner, Rico, is awesome. The prices are very reasonable, and the environment is comfortable. Rico does his best to accommodate to all his patrons. Thursdays are rave nights, Fridays is karaoke and Saturdays someone plays music. Check this place out. Pool table is outside with darts, where you can smoke. I'll be back to visit this place. Thanks Rico!!“
“Perfect for a late night snack/dinner. It was after 11pm when we ordered our food and everything came out fresh and in good quality. The Baja blast was out and instead of making us get a different drink the person serving us went back and changed it so we could still get it. That doesn't happen too often in my experience. The only downside was there was a lack of creamy jalapeño sauce in our quesadillas.“
“Medina is blessed to have 2 really good (authentic) Mexican restaurants. This is one of them. Fancy? No. But the food is crazy good. You will NOT go home hungry! My only warning: This place is popular, and busy. But it’s worth the wait. Friendly staff, great service.“
