“Wonderful food, friendly people, quick service. Came to Middle Bass for a quick island stop to refuel and refresh after a day of boating, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The people who work here are very friendly. The restaurant itself is simplistic and pleasant. The food was PHENOMENAL. The cheese bread (or whatever it was called, I can't quite remember) was delicious, simply superb. The pickle pizza was also delicious, these people have the brilliance of putting ruffles chips on top as well. Simply amazing, awesome, and will return again!“

“I had lunch at the Goat today and not only was the food and service excellent, but the owner went out of his way to make sure our day trip ended on a high note. My bike got a flat tire and he insisted on hauling my bike and myself to the ferry. This 70 year old greatly appreciated his kindness and you can be sure we will support the Goat every time we visit the island.“

“came up from perry county for a little summer fun and told my wife I was not leaving back to the hills till I had some type of seafood and this joint was on point! I had 2 lobster tails with potatoes as a side absolutely delicious also had a half pound of crab legs, my son had the steam pot and he loved it, my other son had pizza and shrimp and he loved the pizza and I ate the shrimp he was full from the pizza, my wife had the steam pot but brought it home and she tore it up when we walked in the door! highly recommend and loved being able to sit 5 feet from the lake! employees was the best and very helpful! check this place out you won't regret it!“

“The service was really good. The pizza and the desert were really good. The Caesar salad was just ok, and the drinks were ok but overpriced. With tip, a meal for two cost slightly over 100$ and for what we got, it was definitely overpriced.“

“Serve what is ordered in a timely manner. Our party of 4 was here last Wednesday for lunch and only 1 of 4 orders was correct. We waited 10 minutes after being seated and received drink order after another 10 minutes. All 4 of us placed food order, ( nothing not on menu) and order was finally brought to table 30 minutes later. Only 1 order was correct. After this, it only took about 5 minutes for the other 3 to be delivered and the cole slaw was incorrect, ever hear of cole slaw with no cabbage? Manager was asked for and he was very rude, no apology and no compensation offered. Beware! They only want your money and have no idea how to run a business properly.“

“Visited last weekend and Reel Bar was the crowd favorite amongst our crew. We asked the kids what their favorite food/drink was and they all said their food (royal red shrimp, chicken sandwich, lobster rolls, and the french fries especially) was at Reel Bar and they loved their mocktail selection. The adults thoroughly enjoyed our fresh squeezed grapefruit and Tito’s also. Service was excellent and all the staff are extremely friendly! Highly recommend the royal red shrimp, was cooked to perfection and so delicious!“

“Had never been before and were cruising by on the lake. Found this place on google maps and decided to check it out and see if we could dock and dine. Yes! We have a 42’ LOA and draft 3.5’ and they had no issue finding us a spot on a busy Saturday night. Beware, tight maneuvering required so maybe not for the faint of heart captain. Good food, good drinks, great atmosphere and live music. We very much would recommend.“

“Great place! My 9 year old had the best time too. They allow kids during the day Mon-Thursday for $10. I highly recommend this place for a day by the pool. The music brought me back to my 20’s -club days. We had a great afternoon! You feel like you’re at the beach here, & in this town. Will return“

“Service was prompt and attentive. Kids especially liked the homemade root beer on tap in the frosted mugs. Pizza certainly left something to be desired….too cheesy, messy and overall not the greatest. Haven’t tried any other pizza on the island so it’s difficult to compare however it wasn’t great. Garlic butter breadsticks however were excellent“

“A time capsule but that's not an issue for me! They tell you to never judge a book by it's cover and with this place you really can't. As a vegetarian it is difficult for me to get anything other than pizza or salad. Tippers offers a variety of food that I can eat. I ordered the Alfredo and wow was I impressed. You get a small hint of whipping cream but it is very rich and creamy. The after taste of the whipping cream just adds to the fact that the chef is not just using the jar stuff, but actually making it from scratch! Overall delicious!!
