“The island had closed up pretty much for the season, and we had trouble finding a place open to serve us. Goat Soup and Whisky was the only one we could find still serving at that time. They make their own soups (very good) and had a better menu than we expected. Rustic atmosphere and good service.“

“I've been going to the Pump for years. It is my go to for lunch or dinner on the island. The staff is friendly and the food is very good. Also one of the few, if not the only, restaurant/bar on the island with a pool table, so it is a great place as a night spot too. Try the fish tacos. They're the best! And don't forget their special hot sauce for the tacos and the fries.“

“We stopped into the Island House Restaurant for lunch. The restaurant was interesting, good and bad. My wife's chicken sandwich was good. The french fries served with it were cooked in oil that was too cool and tasted oily. The slaw was excellent. My Mediterranean platter was supposed to have toasted pita bread, not toasted, and a little soggy. Everything else was great. The service was ok we had a multitude of people waiting on us. I would probably return if I return to Kelly's Island.“

“This restaurant was very nice, and well positioned. Their burger came with coleslaw and a lot of fries. In the morning, they have delicious hot donuts of 6 varieties. Having their donuts are a great, cheap way to start the day. They are very close to the Lakeside pier, so you can order takeout, then walk 2 minutes down to the pier and eat there.“

“After the experience we had here last night I can't imagine any reason why this restaurant shouldn't be rated 5 stars easily! The food was very impressive, taste, serving size, price.... I only wish this was closer to us so we could go again sooner! We went during an incredibly busy time after the solar eclipse and we have absolutely no complaints.“

“Off season so there was no wait. We were promptly seated with a view of the "harbor".Best perch on the island! Perfectly lightly breaded and fried to a crispy crunch but delicate inside! Portions are generous.I highly recommend Mossbacks!“

“Graat place to pull up by boat or the road. River is quick to help secure your boat and does it with a smile! The entire bar and wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was surprisingly good, I was expecting "tourist" food and got so much more. The menu has many gluten free options, which is very appreciated. The shrimp and scallops meal (gf) was amazing, the scallops were BIG and cooked perfectly. The chicken brushetta meal (gf) was juicy and full of flavor. The fish tacos were very fresh with large pieces of fish and great for a quick meal. The shrimp Cajun pasta was also a hit with our group, a large serving of pasta and I think 6 large shrimp. All of the meals were very generous portions.“
“I really enjoyed visiting your campground to see my friends Grunge DNA play last night. We were so impressed on how friendly everyone was and so easy to talk to. Definitely not disappointed at all. Thank you staff and campers for making us feel welcome at the campground!!! You guys rock!!!!??“
“Such a cool place! By far one of my top spots when i go to PIB. There is one particular bartender who i absolutely adore! Her name is aurora, and she was so kind and had amazing customer service overall. The whole staff is great! Amazing drinks and fun music! Can’t wait to go back.“

“While in Marblehead for a couple nights we happened upon this local dive bar. And I say that will all due respect, that’s my kind of bar. The area has plenty of pretentious “tiki” bars for the tourists, this is clearly where the locals go for good food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. We returned for a second night and I was impressed that Liz (our bartender both nights) remember us and what we were drinking. We felt like locals. And Brian did not disappoint when it came to the wings! Absolutely amazing wings! Can’t wait to be back in the area!“

“Always busy when you go on the weekend. Be prepared to wait for you food if it's busy. Otherwise the food is good (try the flatbreads) and the drinks are cold. Will ALWAYS come back!Kid-friendliness: Great area for the kids to run around“

“I haven't ordered prime rib in ages, but it was the special the night we were there, so I went for it! It was a bit overdone for my liking and I would have liked more jus, but overall the taste was good and the portion size amazing. Side salad was well-made too.“

“The server was very nice. The blue cheese dressing was 75% mayo and 25% blue cheese so all you tasted was mayo. The mushroom risotto was lacking in taste and the perch was fried way too long! When you are preparing lake Erie perch, it requires very little breading and should be golden color. We will be back this summer to try again.“

“The bar was ok but the bartenders weren't real friendly. The margaritas were good but they are known for their Bloody Mary's and I didn't like it at all. The food was subpar. Still probably the best dive bar in town. The location is good because it's away from downtown and unique to the area.“

“One of my favorite stops to get away for a bit. Had a real nice “late season” lunch today, manager and bartender both really friendly and welcoming. Be back in the Spring, just would like to see loaded baked potatoes added to the sides menu ?“

“This place was packed on a Saturday when we stopped with our kids, but surprisingly great service and food! Our waiter was great and helped us figure out the best menu items since we had never eaten here. The food was all amazing! The chicken tenders, brats, kale coleslaw, burger, all was amazing! We would definitely visit again when we are at Put-in-Bay.“

“We ate breakfast here twice. Both times the service was quick and friendly. I really enjoyed the self-serve coffee. Both times were there I ordered over easy eggs and both times they were over medium or closer to hard. But the bacon and sausage were very good. My girlfriend enjoyed her scrambled eggs and bacon and hash browns.“

“For being one of 3 food places on the island it’s not bad. The pizza was okay nothing special and we ordered twice from here( over phone for pick up) food was always ready when I got there. I did like my Italian sub….I also got us a soft pretzel with cheese and I wouldn’t get that again. 9.99$ for a regular sized pretzel and the bottom of the pretzel was hard. I also paid the extra 1$ for the mustard and I didn’t care for it.“
