“First time here with the girlfriend and the food is delicious. We both had the half rack ribs. Mine with the smokey sauce and hers with honey garlic, fall off the both full of flavor. Adding to it with a couple draught local beers. Highly recommended if in the area and hungry.“

“Decided to stop at Harvey’s tonight, which is rare for us, but we wanted a change. Got there minutes after the dining room closed so chose the drive thru as opposed to going elsewhere. The food took a little longer than it should’ve to come out, but it was delicious and maybe the first time we’ve gotten an order that was entirely correct. The young girl who handed us our drinks did forget one, but Trisha was super apologetic for the wait time and didn’t even hesitate when we said we were short one drink. “I really like the Carleton Salad—however, apparently the mango dressing has not been in stock for awhile. Please have the wait staff inform customers who are ordering the salads about this situation ahead of just serving it with a different dressing.“

“My family ordered from Swiss Chalet at 8:57pm. We had a poor experience with door dash and received the wrong order over an hour later. We called Harvey’s as Swiss chalet had closed already (Swiss closes at 10 and Harvey’s at 10:30) and spoke to Trisha. She worked with us and was able to make our very frustrating night a positive experience. She waited after close for the door dasher to return and she made our food and made sure we got it. She even called to let us know the dasher was on the way back, by this time it was 11:30pm. She did everything she could to make it right even though it was not her mistake. Thank you so much Trisha !!“

“We absolutely love Colasanti’s! Every time we are in the area, we make sure to stop in. It’s such a unique experience with activities for everyone, and every time we return, it seems like they’ve expanded or added something new.

Here are a few highlights from our visits:

Plants & Decor: The selection and variety of plants is incredible. Their massive planter selection is so well organized by theme and coloukr. They also do an amazing job decorating for the seasons (Halloween, Christmas, and Easter displays make for fantastic photo ops!).

Food & Value: The restaurant is delicious, and general entry into Colasanti’s is free.

Fun & Activities: The zoo pass is such a great deal and super adorable. It gives you access to the zoo, multiple playgrounds, a maze, pedal cars, and mini construction ride-ons. You can also purchase food to feed the goats, koi fish, and birds. Feeding the birds was 100% our absolute favourite part!

Workshops: My kids have participated in a few of their scheduled events and workshops, like building themed succulent planters. They are very affordable, hands-on, and a fun experience for the kids. The mini golf course is also lovely and fun for the whole family.

A Note on the Arcade (Room for Improvement):
The one area that definitely needs attention is the arcade. A majority of the machines were out of order or stopped working midway through. Out of the six ticket redeemer machines, only two were working, and ours jammed four times. Combined with the humidity and noise, it became quite overstimulating for the kids and a headache for parents. The prize redemption options were also a bit underwhelming for the number of tickets required, and several items broke quickly. Upgrading to a digital card system for play and ticket redemption would make a world of difference for both parents and staff!

Tip for Visitors: Remember that this is a full greenhouse, so it gets incredibly humid inside! Pay attention to the weather on the day you visit, and you definitely won't need a jacket or sweater once you're inside.
