“I genuinely enjoy Battleground. The pozole is quite good as are their in-house beers (contact brewed at Modern Methods)
The flavors of all their food is always taste well blended. Though, moving here from out West and working in Mexico for years, I wish there was a bit more oomph (and a bit more kick).
My only real negative is their salsa Verde. It's a bit TOO tangy for my tastes and I think it could use a little more tomatillo. But to each their own.
They care about their food and that's obvious I'm every bite.“

“I have never had a bad experience in all of the years I have ate at or carried out food at Uncle Titos but tonight has to be my most favorite experiences. Their credit card machines were down when I went to pick up my carry out order, they offered to take down my card information so I was able to still get my order. I was a little nervous but I let him take my information as well as my name and number. I just received a text message with a photo of my ticket and then a photo of my ticket ripped up to ensure my information was destroyed. They took the time to do this with each person that trusted them with their information. I think this shows the type of business they are and I am blown away!“

“Ordered number 1 lunch with chicken and rice. Chips were hot, and salsa was spicy and flavorful. Queso dip spicy, hot and delicious. The only thing was rice was barely warm, so I didn't eat much of it. They seemed low on staffing but still served in a timely manner. Will definitely be back.“

“We got the California burrito & the Cancun burrito and they were AMAZING. These guys were super nice and they didn't take long at all to make it (which is wild cause it was SO MUCH MORE food than we expected it to be). Def recommend this food truck, they're awesome.
Kid-friendliness: We have a really picky toddler, like REALLY picky, but the kid absolutely devoured the quesadilla we got within minutes. I don't know what kind of magical properties they're putting in this food but our kid actually ate the vast majority of it and asked for more, so these guys are our freaking saviors now 10/10“

“BEST restaurant ever! Jose’ and María are the best! our youngest calls them tío José and TT María (she calls all her aunts TT) Food is amazing. We have been a few times had multiple servers and they are all fantastic! My all time favorite is the burrito Azteca. If you haven’t tried i encourage you to please do it! “There are many good things to say about this establishment. The service was prompt, and the food came out quickly! I tried 4 a la carte street tacos and they all had different seasonings, toppings and flavors. My husband got the Barbacoa burrito. To our surprise, the side vegetables were flavored in such a way that he ate those first because it was so good. The burrito had a sauce that was not too much not too little, but just right. Overall you can tell they put a lot of thought in their dishes and how they are flavored and seasoned, so each dish is unique- which I feel is hard to find nowadays in Mexican restaurants. Very impressed, and will be back again, and totally worth the cost“

“My first experience was like going into someone's home and being greeted and served by the parents. If I was entertaining a visitor to Akron, I'd want to take them here because they would leave Akron feeling like it was a hospitable place. We ordered, and got our meals within 10 minutes, hot and delicious. And here's a pic of the painting on the wall by our table.“

“I never write reviews but this place deserves it. Every time I've gone here service is so so quick and the food is delicious. (I always get the same meal but all my friends who I've brought have all been happy with their meals too.)The servers are always in a good mood and are quick to help you out.

“Pretty good food & portion sizes. I got the Hawaiian bowl and subbed meat for extra veggies. It was a ton of food, and it was delicious! The staff was also very friendly. I didn’t love the vibe as far as atmosphere and aesthetics go, it felt a little elementary & corny to me. Lots of random t shirts and bags and things for sale at the checkout that felt very gimmicky. But it’s the food that really counts :)
