“service is great, food outstanding. people were letting their children run around in the enclosed patio and jump on the furniture beside us; someone on the other side of the wall talked on their speaker phone for our entire meal. i yhink the wait staff should intervene. our food cost just yhe same as others who were disturbing my meal. if i can order an old fashioned and a beer, yhe i shouldn't have to eat around these kinds of disturbances.“

“This goes out for the owner to hear. My wife and I came in a little after 7pm not realizing you closed at 7pm. We were here on 11-11-25 so you know the 2 girls working were very energetic and positive vibes. Never said sorry we already closed. Made us exactly what we wanted then we sat down and realized you were already closed and felt bad. The girl cooking said don’t worry about it. I don’t remember the last time I was treated so friendly especially at closing time after a long day. Our new favorite healthy bite to eat place now. I would recommend to everyone. Foods awesome too. “If I could give them even more stars, I would!! The owner, Mike himself, took care of us while we were there and he was amazing! So kind and kept us smiling during our entire meal! He was so sweet with my 18 month old daughter, even giving her some suckers and a gift certificate for next time. Not only was the service top notch, but the food was to die for! We got specialty burgers and my daughter got chicken tenders, all of which were made fresh and perfectly cooked/seasoned! I can’t recommend this place enough. Already can’t wait to visit again!!“

We were a little disappointed in the serving size of the fries, Double cheese burger, and Fried bologna sandwich. Taste wise it was great. Service was fast and friendly. I'd recommend to anyone but I'd definitely recommend to double your order if you want enough to eat.“

“Stopped by at The Turf Club after a coworker recommended I check it out while in town. I had the filet mignon burger and duck fat fries. One of the best burgers I've ever had! You can tell they use high quality ingredients. Loved the atmosphere along with the owner and staff. Definitely worth visiting and I will be back again the next chance I get!“

“My family and I was there today to celebrate my mothers birthday, we ABSOLUTELY loved the food them ribs are to die for, however the memorable part was our server Tonya, I think I’m saying her name right, she was AMAZING I mean she engaged with my mom and son like if she was apart of the Family and THAT took us right away, the only downside was by the time we had received our drinks she was no longer our server which REALLY upset my mother, However the new server was nice she just wasn’t her,,, we LOVE the spot and enjoyed the whole atmosphere and my mother and Family DEFINITELY will be back we just hope that we run into that server Tonya again!!! I’m very excited my new office is only 4 minutes down the road. I plan on not packing my lunch as much and taking some time away from work. “Last time we came here we had a gift card for Oakley kitchen, and the man working at the time (April 16th 2024 actually) did sketches and drawings and was super nice, (also the burgers are phenomenal) he figured out how to use the gift card perfectly fine and even rung us up a second time for another order. We came again today and they suddenly can’t take the gift card, it’s a 100 dollar gift card and there’s only four places even open here with fat Al’s being one of the two places we’re interested in. Really dissapointing as it was used perfectly fine the last time TWICE and we drove half an hour to get here specifically for their burgers. The manager was on the phone and said they were one of the last people to switch to using a card (or something like that??) but again it worked last time we came so that doesn’t make any sense :/ our visit today was on 4/30/24.“

“Had the Jean Robert and it was pretty good. I would have preferred a little less Bleu and a little more goat cheese. The Bleu was a little too forward on the taste, but still real good. The fried jalapeños were amazing. It's four whole stuffed-with-cheese-and-cream-cheese jalapeños.
The mac and cheese was fantastic with a little added salt and pepper.
Don't remember what my sister got but it was also amazing.

“I stumbled into this place with some work colleagues when we were working in the area. When we walked in the door, I had no idea what kind of food they served. The menu wasn’t particularly large, but it had some really interesting choices. I’m not a big hot dog person, but there was a broad selection of very unique hot dogs. I ended up choosing the Elote grilled cheese, and we also got some duck fries for the table to share. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the grilled cheese sandwich, but it was outstanding! The fries and dipping sauce were also really good!“

“El Barril is a really awesome Mexican joint we found in Mount Adam's in Cincinnati. It had both indoor and outdoor seating but on this day we decided on the inside. The restaurant looks really super fun with lots of tremendous decor with even the chairs being unique (and comfortable too.) They had a lot of unique takes on Mexican dishes (lots of unique burgers on the menu for one) as well as some classic favourites. We started with an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip which was a straightforward take on it. It had lot's of chicken, a very flavourful but not too spicy Buffalo sauce, and some blue cheese mixed in. It was served with chips. This was as good of take as I've had on a Buffalo Dip that I've had from anyplace. For my main course I tried the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos which was 3 hard tacos served with grilled shrimp topped with spicy Bang Bang sauce as well as cilantro. This was very unique but very delicious all the same. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and that sauce I would describe as zesty with a slight punch but not too much. Really liked them a lot. My wife enjoyed her Margarita as well as her food (I believe it was a pork dish but I forgot to take a picture). This was a super fantastic lunch and I for one can't wait to come back.“
