“I genuinely enjoy Battleground. The pozole is quite good as are their in-house beers (contact brewed at Modern Methods)
The flavors of all their food is always taste well blended. Though, moving here from out West and working in Mexico for years, I wish there was a bit more oomph (and a bit more kick).
My only real negative is their salsa Verde. It's a bit TOO tangy for my tastes and I think it could use a little more tomatillo. But to each their own.
They care about their food and that's obvious I'm every bite.“

“Came out for the first time this week after being told about the place by friends. I will definitely be back. Everything was incredible and so fresh. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Tried almost all the sauces, and there wasn't one I didn't like. The atmosphere was busy, fun and welcoming. I sat at the bar, and was a bit intimidated by the drink selections and menu, but Mike took the time to explain the choices and let me sample one before I made my decision while there was a line to the door. Unfortunately, the burger, which was ordered medium, was way overcooked. Service was friendly. If not for the nearly burnt burger, the place would have gotten a perfect 5 stars!“

“This was our first time going and it was honestly so good! It’s super refreshing to find a restaurant that does breakfast but in a healthy way! I love that most dishes have avocado as an ingredient because of the health benefits. I personally cannot eat avocado due to an intolerance but my food was still amazing even when I took it out! I got the Eggs Benedict - BLT.. I don’t even have words to describe it. The greens were crunchy, the hollandaise sauce was citrusy, the eggs were perfectly jammy while my bread was beautifully toasted and the bacon and tomato just added to it. I got it with the side of potatoes and those were perfect. I will absolutely be coming back. Also, I’m not big on coffee at all, but their coffee is so amazing that I actually had to get a bag for home.“

“very Very VERY SLOW service. I was in here on a Saturday around 6PM to pick up a Door Dash order of 2 small pizzas and an order of Jojos. I waited 25 minutes past the expected ready time, The pizzas were never even started until 5 minutes AFTER the time it was supposed to be picked up, I saw them being made. The food here is Great as long as you have an hour to wait for it.“

No I have to say that it was the day before the holiday and an hour Before they closed but I ordered just a pepperoni and sausage pizza in which The service was Good but when I got home I wasn't very happy with the pizza Couple of different reason I Here as at this point it's not necessary. I did The need to leave a review because I was extremely disappointed Which to my surprise was met by very thoughtful response from the owner as well as a gesture for an amount off of my next purchase. I found that to be very respectable and given that there's nothing but good reviews and my lousy timing I decided to give it a go again. I even went back to the same shop that I got my first pie from And I have Extremely pleased that I did so. I can't yet say that I have a new favorite but I will say at this point I will be back as everything about your establishment from the way you handled a disappointed First time, pizza loving, customer On through follow up order which I have to say was fantastic. The Royal Filet was cooked to perfection and our waitress Taryn accommodated my request to have it wrapped in bacon. The baked potato had all the fixings and cooked just right. The old fashioned was top notch. The limoncello shots were great. Everything was what I thought it would be. Taryn,our waitress, was nothing short of amazing.
